I don't want to bore you guys with long epistle. Yes, as the title suggests. I travelled to Canada through the study route this January but I can tell you for a fact that I'm already bored with this place. I'm redoing a 2 year program that I have already concluded in Naija but just because I want japa, I redid it. But that's not the issue. The issue is that I'm working in a company but the department I was posted to was a physical demanding one. To the extent that if I work for a day, I feel pain all over my body for a week. And this is seriously affecting my education because anytime i go to work, i wouldn't have the energy to do anything again as i would be so weak. but i have to work because i have bills to pay. Nobody send you for here except you want sleep for cold outside. Even half of my salary goes in the form of settling bills. The work makes me depressed. This is not what I bargained for. For me to raise money for my tuition fees and travel expenses, at least I wasn't doing bad in Nigeria before i left. In addition, I hardly have time for myself. My situation is even better, most of people who we came same time haven't found jobs yet.
My thinking is if I should ask for refund of my remaining tuition fee and relocate back Naija, or go back Naija and take some courses online, as there seems to be an option for that.

Thank you all. I needed to correct something which my brother later told me in the evening yesterday.

He said what the agent told him is that he has done all the jobs concerning the visa application but it only remains for him to come and thumbprint so that he will be given a visa to move.

According to him the agent said that he does charge that amount because him and his team will bypass anything called interview.

That he works with notable people that make things work as planned.

Please advise because he said many people are going there and getting visa to the countries of their choice apart from America.

Please advise next action.
If my brother would be able to move from Greece.
What ways will he be able to navigate the country to Finland and if he gets there wouldn’t there be a chance to find any job.
Any job is acceptable. He doesn’t have a choice of job but it must be a legitimate one.

The agent said there is nothing like interview for him cuz that’s why he is an agent and his team has bypassed it.

He said he will only go for thumbprint. That’s all.

Please how true is this cuz my brother want to go and do the thumbprint.

He said the visa is out… would there be interview when the visa is out but just remaining thumbprinting so my brother will collect everything and move next week if he pays the balance

Please I need you to help me verify if my brother is making a mistake or I should let him proceed with the agent.

My brother owns a shop but was advised by a friend who told him to travel out and now my brother is planning to sell everything in his shop.

My question is…. Can he really get a job with Schengen visa?

- Firstly he agreed with the agent to pay 3.5million naira for Finland visa last 4 weeks.

- He paid advance 1 million naira
- Today the agent called him and said visa is out only for him to see its Greece Schengen visa.
- He was told to pay for account statement which he paid 20k
- The agent said there won’t be any interview but just to go and thumbprint
- He said after thumbprint possibly next week he will then have to pay for flight ticket and move.
- He said my brother can travel to up to 20 countries and work there.

Please is this true?
Advise me if we should stop my brother from paying remaining balance of 2.5.

Will this really work… the agent said Finland but went ahead and did Greece saying my brother can travel to Finland and other countries from Greece.

Help me please cuz he wants him to balance up.

Agent never hijacked any process rather those uk companies themselves want to only deal with recruitment agency instead of dealing directly with candidates. That's the loopholes those greedy recruitment agency are taking advantage of thereby selling slots with it. Do you think am happy paying such amount aswell ni? Ask those telling you to keep applying by urself. They themselves won't tell you the exact company they applied to ,Why? They are also hiding the full details form lots who don't have such money to spear.

Even in Nigeria of today. Company are outsourcing there job to recruitment agencies to employ workers for them.

1) Does it mean only NHS can employ from the counties on red list and healthcare companies can't again?

2) Will it affect those that have always gotten COS and are from the red list countries?

3) Will it also affect those that have already applied for the visa and awaiting decision but are from the red list countries?

Are you sure you checked well? Nigeria is still very much on the list.

The implication of the list is that recruitment agencies cannot recruit health workers from Nigeria to the UK. Direct application is still very much valid.
