hustla: Star Sports Kaabadi in India, we used to pay the equivalent of 10K naira for Internet + All the sports channels. They show PL, Ligue 1, Eredivisie and I think Serie A
Wonder why the UK is different for some weird reason Greediness. Premier league is over valued and foreign ownership made things even worse, Manchester city, Man-united, Chelsea etc All paid stupid money for average players at their best. Premier league itself selling right to broadcast to Sky, BT Sport and Amazon for around £4.8 billion. Imagine paying £2000 plus a session to watch a club like Spurs that has never won even a wooden spoon They can't win the war against illegal streaming as people seek for cheaper options |

Lexusgs430: Remember when sky boxes got cloned and virgin media satellite services got hacked............ We are going back over 25 years........
To ban IPTV, internet access must be banned.......😛😂 The biggest prob is the cost of watching premier league matches in the UK, outside the UK you can watch these games for less than £5. When i was living in Zimbabwe we watch these matches almost for free, we pay less than 10 dollars monthly for subscription and that includes all sports. |

Walexwal: The person will still need to change at LHR onto a Reading RailAir. So, I still maintain that National Express does not get to Reading station. They may get to Meteo Park and ride though. National express will not sale a ticket to a route they are not operating, is either they take that route or their partners does. |

Thank you guys for responding.
I spoke with the wife; she said she’s tired of everything and also whenever they have an issue, her husband will call her dad cos he knows she’s scared of her dad. Also, the guy has never pushed for a reconciliation, it was always her. She brought the guy into UK; all expenses paid by her. He was a teacher back home (30k salary). They’ve got no kids; married for almost 2 years.
To me I feel the guy is like that because he didn’t invest in the relationship. I’ve hands off and not telling him the advises I got from here. Whatever wants to become of him should be. Seems like madam loves oga more than he loves her |

Walexwal: National Express doesn't service Reading. Take a train to Reading or take Reading RailAir. if you wish, you can link up with me for a guide and how to settle in quickly in Reading.

Pls I need help , coming in this coming week thru Turkish and heading to Reading but am hearing I have to book for cab ahead and is about £120 . Am trying to cut spending cost pls , any idea of how I can get a cab that I won’t spend up to £120 or any idea on how to navigate myself down to Reading conveniently . Pls help a New comer 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Book national express when you land in the UK, i think Turkish airline land at Gatwick airport, you can easily get national express coach from the airport to Reading. gmacnoms: Tier 2 dependant You need to calm down and get in first and lower your expectation. chances are that you may not get the job of your dream in the first 6months or more of landing in the UK. Take any job to help you settle down and support your family. There are people who land a good job within few months of arriving in the UK, keep applying and don't get discouraged by refusals. You need to get in first, get an accommodation, bank account, mobile phone contract etc then start applying for jobs |

But my shock is, I have gotten a few rejection mails for some of the blue collar jobs (mostly night shifts) that I have applied to, and it is beginning to give me a cause for concern
Any tips on how to get a job aimmediately would be greatly appreciated. I already have BRP and NI What type of visa? |

PutinDBomb: Guys don't believe this woman's PPR. There's 100% chance it's fake like many PPR Makano fake account have posted here
Is it because people he's collecting money from and still giving them refusal are not coming out to say it? You are a marketer and we don't permit that here
@Justwise review this man's/woman's account
In just one post, she mention the thief she's marketing 12 times. You don't need lenses to know she's an accomplice
@Justwise check the date of her testimony and date on the ppr screenshot and how many times she mentioned the theif she's advertising
I can post like 6 PPR screenshots now and I can assure you, none of them have been posted on Nairaland before |

topellycategory: I wonder ooh brother, some people just enjoy catching cruise with other people stories just in the name of "spicing upthe thread", that's very unfair.
I pity the person that brings such here to seek advise from some that don't have joy in their heart. topellycategory: Life is not uptight when you can make fun of what hurt other people feelings. I blame the person that bring their private matter to places like this so people like you can feast on it and make unnecessary joke out of it.. I see the flow of joy from your heart. |

dustydee: He should start looking for sponsorship. If they have kids, he can remain on that basis (Right to family life). I personally don't see any reason to remain in a toxic marriage just because of a visa. For those who are speculating that the guy is not pulling his weight, could it also be that the guy had a very good job/business back home and was reluctant to come to the UK but only did due to pressure from his spouse? And then probably he is yet to find something similar ro what he left and unwilling to start from the ground? There are countless stories like that that have caused strains in relationships. That is very possible and that is why people need to think long and hard before embarking on this journey especially those with good job already in Nigeria. |

Thastie: The wife brought him here. The wife said she's not feeling supported in all ways. He agreed to the divorce. He just wants to know if he'll be deported. That is common especially when husband is the dependant and refuses to take certain jobs just to help with bills or wife's tuition fees. Like others have said..he needs to find a way to switch to student visa or other type of visas else..... |

The OP openly said he will not answer the question, that is from a place of boldness.
You have stylishly dodged the questions, that is from a place of timidity. Zahra29: This is only relevant if it was known that justwise's company was hiring and he was directly asked for the company name by someone hoping to try their luck there. |

Santa2: I know someone that was in same shoes, wife gave birth a few weeks after they landed. She was able to land a remote customer service role . Funny thing is I got the info from this thread and forwarded to them, hubby who also got a 20hour customer service remote role, also got the link from here. Between the two of them while working from home, they have been able to balance school, work and child care |
