does the 28 days waiting period applies to applicants using his parents bank statement of account. please direct answer...
This is an interesting question and over the years we have not really touched on the issue of using parent's bank account + the 28days counting. There is no Yes or No answer to this but this is the issue... (1)....if your parents account is older than 28days and contains all the money needed to cover for fees and maintenance money on it then you can print it out and use for visa application without waiting for 28days (remember to add your birth certificate) (2).... if the account is older than 28days with not enough money to cover for fees and maintenance money then you will start counting the 28days the very day you have enough money in that account to cover for your fees and maintenance money. |
honey86: Whao, we have loads of Manchester peeps on this thread this year. Congratulations to you guys....you meant Gun-Chester? ![]() |
lamie505: Uk is easy to enter once you follow the guidelines and provide neccessary informations.. It not compulsory you follow what others do.. I only shared what I did so am not forcing anyone to follow suit... ThanksYes i agree with you but why did you use an agent since you knew all these? |
IF u believe so much in PFL that u r now shooting advice even though ur visa aint out, What are u now fretting about on Nairaland. That u paid money for an application u could hv done on ur own doeant make ur agent an expert. Last year I used agents for my Canada Study and I didn't get it after expending abt 200K. So don't be quoting ur agent here until he has proven over And over again. About Bank reference its not necceassary, cos BHC would still check with ur bank!
Thanks for pointing that out, there is no need adding bank reference, not needed and not part of requirements. |
Really really sad, may her soul rest in peace. |
workinprogress: Good Morning,Congratulations! All the very best with your studies. |
joel911: @Lamie, I think you should desist from misleading applicants and focus on your own application that is still pending with The BHC. Don Oms: You have a point Lamie505 but you're missing the question "why?" You see, some bank statements don't categorically show "opening balance with date" and "closing balance with date" so you need to make a transaction in such a case. But if your bank statements clearly shows the information, it won't be important to make any transaction on the 28th day except you so desire. Also, the BHC DOESN'T count 28 days from date of last transaction UNLESS the quoted conditions above are not satisfied (they use print date to count 28 days backwards). This is just so everyone gets this right. Thanks. True that. |
londoner: Cheers....how did you do that btw?Used the 'Modify' button. |
princessmoi: Justwise, on the last pasrt of the online application, a signature is required. If you click on next it says "This field is required" please help. Many who have used the form will help you out soon, i never used it before. |
^^^^ ..sorted. |
Uyi Iredia: Geez. Nigeria will never be a great nation as long as its citizens continue to think like this. Oh please!! forget that quote, it has passed it sale-by-date, it does not apply to current situation. Now it should be: Ask not what you can do for your country, but what your country can do for you. |
damsey: Dat i did'nt submit enough evidence of her relationship with me which he specifically quote marriage certificate or photograph. I include d original marriage certificate & photocopy of change of name in application wit her birth certificate. In that case reapplying will be quicker, appeal will take nothing less than 4months, you may be half way through your program before you know the outcome of the appeal. |
damsey: Big thanks to justwise for his contribution. Got my visa yesterday after 11 working days only dat my dependent was denied. Can i appeal? What was the reason for the refusal? |
@Justwise. A friend in London called me today advising me to obtain one YELLOW CARD( For Yellow Fever immunization) from the Ministry of Health. According to him, the UK border agency will request for the card at the point of entry at the port. I now have the Yellow Card and will go for the immunization on Friday, please fellow students make sure you have your Yellow Fever Immunization and the Card to show. Please Justice your advise on other things and/or documents the UK immigration will request at the port will be appreciated, you will save people from being refused entry. God will bless you.
that is news to me, i doubt yellow card is needed, never heard of anybody questioned about that at point of entry |
735 i: Hi Justwise; If Naira equivalent for the balance of my tuition and living expenses is; N 3.6m (which is already in my account) and i withdraw N 500k after my after my Visa application. Will it in anyway affect my chances in getting a visa? i am at crossroads to either sell pounds which i bought for N 254 and buy later at a much more expensive rate or; withdraw the money from my account.its 50/50 situation, if you are unlucky the embassy call your bank to verify then you will be refused. |
JideVince: Its just my tuition that has been taken care of,no funds towards maintenance. Meaning I had to prove funds would be available for maintenance.Ok..i get that. Is your sponsorship status stated in your CAS? |
JideVince: No, before. If you are been sponsored why then were you going through legal guardian? |
Don Oms: Hello I need your advice. I paid my@mubby08 this post^^^ will help you get around the appointment issues, if you don't understand after going through it carefully please ask for more clarification |
mubby08: hey justwise,Its really close one, but you can do what others did..... |
I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the guy |
JideVince: That was my mistake, only if I had joined this forum earlier. My tuition has been paid in full(£16000) I secured a full-tuition scholarship from Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust(ANFCT) Was this after the refusal? |
As I stated in my post, I do not know; if I knew I probably would not be on this post...Cheers
Don't take this in a bad way but you need to seek help....Speak to your GP and get some much needed mental health help. |
JideVince: 4th October but 14th is the final arrival day.*between 19thSept. And 14th Oct there are 17 working days, excluding Oct. 1st.You shouldn't have gone through legal guardian route, if you are under 18yrs of age...maybe just maybe it will work. Have you paid your fees? |
To achieve all that I listed is quite easy; from my experience, all it requires is to have enough people. it takes: 1. Surveillance 24/7 2. Defamation (spoiling person name) The rest is easy...will you be willing to communicate with someone you know that the police are following? Most people would stay as far away as possible...by not having the opportunity to build a relationship, it is quite difficult to be intimate with a woman...except if she is into runs...me I m not into that sort of thing
Why are you under surveillance 24/7? |
@ibezomam@yahoo I'm struggling to believe a single thing you wrote there. How did the HomeOffice stopped you from having intimate relationship with a female since 2007 and every other things you listed? Are you under house arrest? Are British or resident permit holder? |
JideVince: Hi everyone! When is your course starting? |
halobaba: @Joxiri No is not Evisa, is sticker the normal one, but it was issued through ghana in there embassy, justwise: Who put the residence permit on your passport? What is the process of getting Ghanaian resident permit? You need to know all these before you step out with that passport. Why did you not answer my question? |
JideVince: Thanks bro. No I haven't! I honestly don't think it matters when you submit your application online though. What matters is when you appear at the VAC, pay your visa fee and submit your forms(online print-out, app8) together with the supporting documents. That day is your application date. Am I wrong, house? @Justwise please chip in some words.will add to what people have told you already before the end of today...pretty busy now.... |
