Sullu: why till Sept 29 or 30?29 or 30th because Sept is 30days, 2 of August to 2 of Sept is a month and a day, if you want to look at it that way then in your case its 1st of Sept. Sure..26th is ok |
mu2sa2: Well said. If she chooses to live a worthless life in her country despite all the opportunities, does she think Canada has anything that will transform her magically?Yea..a lot of people to kidnap and money to steal |
Sullu: Just to double checkYou can print and submit your application any day from that Aug 2 till Sept 29 or 30th. |
Chikeziehosan: Please if u want to leave Nigeria go...u ar not needed..what av u given to Naija..people who av made impact here don't complain..it's d lazy goats who want to b fed that keep complaining..we are Running 200m..won't it b nice if u jst leave n stop complaining..i assure u...u won't b missed or even noticed @ D likes of Afam n co n generation n lineage. Its harder to make a decent living outside Nigeria, so they are not lazy. |
honourableseyi: Yes ooo, I thought as much too when I saw a college with £4,000 tuition for International student, I know something is not right about it. I'm thinking of going through that route because of the situation on ground; thinking that if I was able to get tution and maintenance fee for a year, then I should be able to aurgment the rest over there without having a single knowledge of what is going on over there. Meanwhile as it is, as a brother to you, what other option do you think will be the best for my situation? Even the money I'm planning of using is from "enjoyment"(don't want to use negative word on myself) here and there. Thanks for your time sirTo avoid giving you any false hope...if you don't have the money for at least 2yrs then please don't risk it. |
jubel: @Justwise,Goodafternoon.I wasn't asked if I have been refused before during my interview and I didn't wanna be too forward by telling the interviewer. But I stated it in my form.Hope no issue wif dat? That is the right thing to do. Since you were not asked during the interview there is no need to telling them. |
Sullu: Thanks a lot for adviceGood luck with your application. You will be fine. |
honourableseyi: Judging by the different circumstances that surround private schools, I believe it's better I stay away from them. But their are some other public colleges that I have seen when I was searching for school with tuition fee in the region we are talking about.Though the program is not Bsc but ND and HND(level 4,5 and 6)not sure if it's up to 6 though.Bro I think I am going to take a little bit of your time this afternoon, and I prayed the good Lord will reward you and not only but your children children. Because each time I see your response to nearly all the questions be asked, ask and still asking here, I can only say Bravo!!!Private colleges are no no no unless if you can do without working, many of them are just 'visa center'. cheap and cheerful but comes with baggage. When you visit their website please move down to: 'About Us', if the directors/management teams are Asians or Africans then..... again have a look at their branches outside the UK, the schools they are affiliated to etc. Doing ND or HND is a longer route that will cost you almost the same as degree. The short cut to this is...do your HND in Nigeria or 1st and 2nd year degree in Nigeria then come to the UK for final year top-up. |
Sullu: ThanksYou need to explain that in your form, use separate paper to do that if there is not enough space in the form, that will be fine, you will not get into trouble by doing that |
Sullu: so, do you suggest me to withhold this information? If you are so worried about it then use the blank space in your application form to mention it to the ECO. It will not affect the out come of your visa. |
honourableseyi: Yes sir, Also if I was able to get one within this range and also the tuition fees for 2 years out of the 3 years which is the duration of my course within the range of £5000-£6000. Thanks bossI'm guessing that is a private school right? |
Sullu: Dear Justwise,You should not really worry about that, your application will be judged mainly on student visa requirements, if you met the requirements then your chances of getting the visa is higher. |
honourableseyi: Thanks bro, which means struggle continues. What about if I was able to get up to 2 years tuition out of three if the tuition is in the range of £5,000-£6000 per year, will it do? Do you have the idea of any other places that can go with this situation? Thanks once again for your candid advice bro.You mean get a degree course that will cost you 5,000-6000 a year in school fees? |
kem000: lopmaidx, pls can u send mi ur yahoo messenger id so we can chat beta if u don't mindIt helps to keep discussion open here, this is what kept this forum moving from page to page. Somebody could benefit from the discussion between you too |
ogakpatakpata: @Justwise & Dr.Dre.......this is serious oooo!!!; why will an agent go to this extent to harm his fellow brother? considering the fact that his father must have spent so much for this trip, l hope the visa is not fake, if not it is really sad and unfortunateThat is what most agents does,i blame those that use agents. |
Luvly devin: , I checked again and I found another person name with same visa number that I was given, please what does that implyThe visa the agent gave you is a copy of another person's visa. You will be turned back or arrested at the airport if you present that visa |
bobkezel: justwise and goodtalk are always in the battle of muzanga.justwise your words are too harsh. Good. |
thegoodjoehunt: Coach Keshi was safe at Belgium and is bothered about the white dude's safety. That is why he is proposing for the man to go back to his safe country. How is being caring racists? So basically you are agreeing with the 'white man' that Calabar is not safe? |
you are the one not making sense. will the white tolerate such from a blackman. why didnt leave it for malawian FA to make an officcal protest, dis white dude came all d way from belgium and start saying shit in2 our u think d best is for us to kip quiet? common keshi ride on, fire for fire that white dude must be mad, i can say it to his face also. to hell with him.
The Malawian FA did, this shows that people like you don't read, you just type and post. Your comments are so childish and primitive |
Are you saying that someone working 20 hrs a week won't earn enough to cover living expenses?
That is possible depending on how much your rent and bills are. |
kem000: what if a proposed student have an existing 2 years visiting visa and also a frequent traveller, never overstayed in the uk. Can these also influence the student visa application even if a person makes a slight mistake like a slight increase in the exchange rate on the day of submission (1 POUND ) to be precise but added the difference as a closing balance. The ECO may over-look the 1 pound difference but not because of your immigration record |
Dis Guy: No, i think it was possible in the past before 2006 but not nowThat is correct. |
Nonybb: Keshi was right. Let the white dude go back to his white world and leave us africans alone. Go to ukraine, go to russia and see where the word "monkeys" are flying around like greeting yet no white is brought to book there. The Problem with africans is that we have inferiority complex while a white man has the superiority complex and until we show them that we are equally of a superior race then the problem of equality or less inferiority persist. Am proud that an african man is seen to be BETTER, we should be living in a Black man world not the other way roundYou are not making any sense, you can't complain about racism when you are doing the same thing, Keshi's reply was wrong and unacceptable as a professional football coach who even lived and played in Belgium for years! He is asking the 'white man' to go back to his country while the same Keshi lived and played overseas for many years. What s hypocrite he is |
goodtalk: Hmmmmmmm the Arrogance of a moderator in display! Am just rounding off from an all night in church so i gat to tone down my reply. You yanked off my post on the 21st and i called your attention to it on the 22nd and i got no reply, so in the evening of the same 22nd i wrote that last post, i felt 2days would be enough for u to reply but alas! Hmmmmmmm!! @Henrimoto! U really really causing me to wonder o! Ur geneflections are akeen to a man seeking favours o! it is well with u sha! A moderator telling a contributor that he is talking nonsense and should get lost, but if a contributor tells the Moderator that he is talking trash, piss off, get lost and go hug a life transformer! He would be accused of breaking rules, so which sections of t'he rules did u brake mr Rule keeper {Moderator}. The quicker u begin to smell the roses the better for this thread because our major contibutors are getting weary and are disapearing gradually! Any need mentioning names? Well didnt the bible say HE DAT THINKET HE STANDETH LET HIM TAKE HID LEAST HE FALL! As per t'he bank issue you used as an analogy, incase u dont know customer is king! If i step into a banking hall and lodge my complaints and 2 days later my complains have not beign responded to or resolved i would simply move my millions out of that inefficient and lack luster place and i bet u t'he manager himself would come begging on his knees.in t'he same vain Seun did not esterblish nairaland for Moderators to be kings but rather contributors to be kings and moderators to ensure peace and orderliness in t'he exchange of ideas, cos without dedicated contributors there will be no nairaland for any Moderator to work! Igweeeeee oga di li ginma! It is well with u!! goodtalk: @justwise! Can u adduce reasons for hidding 2 of my posts when the 0ps posts akeen to insults are still left hanging? You are deceiving yourself if you think that because you are a contributor moderators should tip toeing around you. Moderators are as important as contributors just as bank customers are as important as the bank. You asked me why your post was hidden, without waiting for my reply you went on to remind me about moderators who were sacked by Seun, so what?? Because they were removed as moderators i should be quaking on my boots and restore your post? Is not as if you waited for a day and i did not reply then you added the second section of your post. Nobody is indispensable here, nairaland will move on without you or me, so stop acting like a local almighty |
honourableseyi: Please I will like to add this question to my questions @oga justwise, aristoqrat, mayo and the whole house, Please I need your candid suggestion and opinion concerning this question because it will form the basis of my moving and what to take into consideration before I continue with the processing. You may not like what i'm about to say now but please read with open mind: If you left Nigeria without an arrangement on how to pay your fees for those 3yrs then you are embarking on a miserable journey. You will not be able to work part time and save for fees and maintenance, if your school fees is around 10,000 a year its practically impossible for you to save such money within a year doing part time job which is 20hrs a week. You are allowed to work full time during the holidays and holiday period is just about 4months, so even if you are making 1000 pounds monthly within those 4months you still will not be able to save for fees. Part time job may pay your rent and some bills if you work every week but you have nothing left after that. If you don't have the money.....don't risk it. |
Birmingham City University.
Its not a dodgy university |
Mrs F: @ justwise the lawyer advised us to reapply again shud we do this or just wait for the appeal? And wats the likelihood that the decision would be overturned with the NHS letter and the receipt? girlfio: If you don't mind paying for it, you can do both at the same time, that way, should the worst happen you can still return to the appeal. Its important to remember that once your case has been refused, they are likely to scrutinise your application even the more so having the appeal running at the same time will give you that fall back should you need it.@Mrs F ^^^ that is perfect answer for you there. |
influential01: hello friends,i want to attend a conference in US on printing, i earn 45k as monthly salary, am married with 2kids.i ve travel to ghana in 2011.i ve my company employent letter, tax clearance, health insurance id card, payslip and and my own statement of acct wth 150k balance.my trip ll ve sponsor by my sister boyfriend.
My Question is based on the ''D'' part of ''Lopmaidx's'' above Post........... Someone please respond.
What is the name of your school? |
If this is true then Keshi should be ashamed of himself for using such language. |
