green24: okay thanks I will make my budget around 500k or 600k, do u think dat is okay?
If i were you i will leave that budget around 400K to 500K

green24: I have 1.2m in my acc now, I intend to stay 2weeks or 10days
That amount is ok as long as your salary agreed with the amount you have in your account without any inconsistency.

You need to write-down a mini budget of the trip and try not to budget more than half of the 1.2m.

chizyb: that means for questions like if he has been involved with any crime should he answer yes
If he did not forge/faked any document or been convicted for any crime then he should not answer yes

chizyb: is he under ban?
chizyb: UK visa he wants to know if it will affect him too
chizyb: yes its a group conference with delegates from nigeria, the group is represented here in nigeria
pls he has a course to attend in SA but he wants to know if this stamp will affect his visa application and also he has
Its 50/50 situation, he needs to be completely honest in all his future visa applications about the refusal stamp on his passport, when they asked in the form if he has been refused visa to any country before he should always tick yes and explain why.

Then its left to the ECO to decide his fate.

chizyb: yea justwise i feel u. he said he was given opporunity to withdraw his application or if he didnt that he will ban him, then he cancelled his visa and he was turn back. what remedy for him, because he is an engineer the immigration officer also insulted him and told he was lying about his certificate as an engineer, that he doesn't know how much he paid in nigeria to collect his certificate. and that my sister can invite him and he should prove that he is an engineer. what can be done?
Was the conference he was trying to attend before organised by his company in Nigeria?

I guess the immigration officer made that comment because of the way he conducted himself.

chizyb: the agent that filled his DS form made some minor mistakes like having no relative in the second entry but relative in the first entry. and that he was not registered for the event
Next time he should complete the dam form himself, why do people use agent even with the amount of info available freely online?

You call that minor mistake but immigration wise its not a minor mistake, lying in your visa application form is a crime.
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part4 by justwise(mod): 11:22am On Mar 20, 2013
chizyb: like 10th of february and he was there 11th of february, they did a group registration but when checked with the organisers of the conference his name was not on their list but when he checked the unternet his name was there
So he has no right to be in US then.

poshal: @ justwise....thanks for your helpful contribution. please i will like to ask a question as regards my WAEC result, my waec result has been laminated, i want to find out if it will be accepted for my visa procesing. thanks
People use that and i'm sure that the embassy is used to Nigerian submitting laminated documents.

johnwray: police handheld searches targeted register depending on the information they want e.g., absconders register, young offenders, wanted etc. And they do so directly because they have the right to. home office (visa section) has to apply for such information and CRB is a comprehensive check. i case my rest. undecided
So the police has the right to do that and the embassy who has the important task to decide who comes into the country doesn't?

An enhance CRB is only done when one applies to work with vulnerable people otherwise standard CRB is carried out which is what the embassies does and these records are held in a central database accessible by authorized govt agencies which i strongly believed that the immigration is one of them.

These checks does not take days anymore rather within minutes your records will appear in front of ECO and the decision will be made in your application.

amykelly: Please if you have gotten a police report from the Nigerian Embassy in the UK. How long did it take? I just spoke on the phone to a very rude Nigerian at Nigerian Embassy UK and she practically hung up on me embarassed embarassed embarassed angry angry angry
You don't get that from Nigerian embassy, the UK police issues you one though it depends on how many years report you are required to bring and how long you have being in the UK.

If you don't meet the condition to be issued one in the UK then you have to get a letter from Nigeria embassy in London, take the letter to police station in your area, pay and get finger print done then send the finger print to CID in Nigeria for police report.

aeiou: Hi all,
I'm in a very shitty situation at the moment guys and hoping there is something man could do.
Last year, got married to my girlfriend of 5+ years (she is British). Cut long story short, she's now in a relationship with an old man and is looking to mess the whole visa up (since people are telling her she will be jailed etc). I'm on a 2 year probationary spouse visa and not even half way through it.
Now trying to think of what can be done immigration-wise. Anything?

Cheers in advance.
Seriously there is nothing you can do now, try and work on your marriage, talk to her and see what her prob is, 5yrs is a long time and you should know her better to know why your marriage is crumbling.. if she ends up with the older man and ends the marriage with you then.....

Abbey48: Hi Justwise and Vicjustice and all the Nairalanders, pls I need ur urgent reply on the refusal letter that I got in my application after the face-face interview that I did .
The decision of C0 gus thus:In order to be able to make a decision on whether or not to grant you entry clearance in this category I have taken into account your stated circumstances in Nigeria, the reasons why for your visit and ur proposed travel arrengement. You have declared that u are a project manager erning 475,622.51 pr month and u hav 2 children to support.U also state that you are propose to travel alone as a tourist and have no friend and family in the Uk.Given the statement u have made and the documentary evidence you have presented to support ur application I am not satisfied that ur circumstances in Nigeria, coupled with ur reasons for wishing to travel to the uk,are such that u have shown ur intentions are as stated or that u intend to leave the uk at the end of ur proposed visit.I am threfore not satisfied that ur application meets the requirement of paragraph4(I)and (ii)of the immigration rules.
I have threfore refused ur application because I am not satisfied.on the balance of probabilities, that u meet all the requirements of the relevant paragraph of the United Kingdom immigration rulesm
Ur right of appeal is limited to the grounds referred to in section 84(1)(c) of the nationality immigration Assylum Act 2002.
These are the questions I want to ask:
1.Can I appeal or can I go for Administrative review?
2.Can somebody break down d reason why this co refused me visa? cos I attached all d necessary document inclusive my wedding pics, shares certicicates and all my landed prprty dcmnts
3.Will this refusal not going to affects the Us applicaton @ the embassy?cos at the back of my passprt the stamped it with Uk Abuja with code no:896870 and dated 07/03/13 pls wht's the meaning of this?
Thnks.
I thought u got reply here? https://www.nairaland.com/823855/general-uk-visa-enquiries-part/93#14776977
