Please guys don't turn this thread to a battle ground. |
johnwray: For those of you that bought this 8 day decision story... This is just to let you know how impossible it is. Before a settlement visa is passed to a case worker, some verifications are done. Now, what to verify depends on the application and the documents provided but the one verification that is inevitable is the CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK on the sponsor. This is called CRB in the UK and it takes at least 2 weeks before they get a response. If you remember in the application, towards the end where they asked questions regarding criminal records, terror group etc... this check certifies whether information provided there is true or not and UK does not joke with this. This is why non-settlement is quicker because verification is only initiated if there are suspicions on documents provided and all verifications are local based (i.e., nigeria). Now tell me how someone got a decission for non-settlement within 8 daysAs this age of technology getting ones CRB will not take ages, the police with handheld device on the street get that within minutes |
Siga: ...no yawa...the main thing is that it was done and its commendable...Its all good. Thanks for your patience |
Siga: @Justwise....e remain small for me to withdraw my 33 .... good jobSorry that this came weeks after your first request.Seun was considering the request. |
geek: Sorry but I really don't get this thing about people wanting to 'disvirgin' their passports. As long as you meet the requirements for a visa, and you can show ties back to Nigeria, then you will be granted one regardless of your travelling history.100 likes |

@shopclue When i saw that you have deleted some of your posts and warned your spokesperson not to post again and delete his posts...i thought you have listened to people who adviced you to focus on sorting out the payment issue offline and stop posting. Then here you are again... i mean.. for some weeks now inspired, Fhemmy and Siena have kept quiet and maturely stayed away from all the drama but you keep pushing it. Mods have moved some thread you started with the aim of: 'setting the record straight or putting your own side of the story' to recycle bin as you requested. What exactly do you want to get out of this? |
timismum: is it really necessary to disclose that my new partner in not his father. how wwould they know that because i want to put my new partner as my childs fatherYou are about to start a journey to prison, even if you managed to pass your child as his daddy, anytime in future the real daddy get to know about that and go to the police you and your partner will be spending a long time in jail and the child taken away from you. If your child does not look like your new partner and the authority suspect that and requested for DNA test what will you do? Why not allow your partner to be your child's step-daddy rather than going through this dodgy route? |
ogakpatakpata: TO GOD BE ALL THE GLORY, HONOUR & PRAISE. l also want to thank Justwise and other encouraging contributors who proffered suggestions to everyone on this platform. l came on this forum few weeks back seeking info and asistance and God did it. My kid brother who graduated from North America with several Diploma's and certificate is finally in Dubai with a fantastic job. He applied from nigeria, employment form was sent to him in nigeria, he got a 2months visa tru an airline in nigeria, left nigeria last week saturday night, arrived dubai on sunday morning, went for interview on monday and was successful, was asked by the company to checkout of his hotel in deira, was told to come to dubai-marina, he was picked up by the HR & OPERATION MANAGER, taken to his accommodation and was given a supervisory position, although the salary is not much but is something to begin with. He only reports to the HR & operation manager. God is faithful. for all those going to dubai, please pray and ask God for favour and direction, prepare your CV from nigeria and package it well, and trust God for direction. God is good. Thanks justwise and other truthful contributors. Thanks to people like justi4jesu and other members here who took time to explain things without dropping contact details for private 'chat' |

nkkystel: Wishing those whose interview is this week a big congrats in advance. Your VISA is granted in JESUS NAME.You can put that pic in ur profile, putting it here will cause a prob to mobile phone users. |
Blower46: Yes emails, Skype, Nimbuzz and facebook. The immigration arrived the documents for the telephone even with no final destination number on it the bill. They mentioned nothing to me to add all the other things. Needless the say I screen dumped every bit of chat history now and will file them with the appeal. The visa was not just rejected on that. The other reasons were that ownership of the house in the UK was not submitted even though utility and council tax bills were and also there was not letter from employer in UK verifying payslips and the same with bank statements even though again the immigration barrister had approved these documents. Now asking for UK calls record from pay as you go mobile in UK. Hopefully the appeal will get through now once these are resubmitted and will only need to go to ECM level to reverse decision.Submit those communication evidences as they are and for the accommodation issue.....tenancy agreement will help alot along with utility bills. Immigration barrister approval will not be taken as seriously as that of the landlord and employer's approval, any immigration barrister can approve any forged document that doesn't make it genuine. Getting a letter from the bank and the employer in official letterhead and stamp will do the tricks. |
timismum: sent am email to department for children, schools and family regarding bringing my child from another man to uk and asking if my present partner can just be the dad without the need for adopting my child They will not accept that without the express consent of that child's biological father, seriously i don't see how they will allow you to do that as long as the child's biological father is still alive. |
timismum: hi guys. just got a response to one of my emails to a govt body and the email address was VCS correspondence@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk..does anyone know what this is even though the letter was attached by the home office from the visa correspondence team. any idea guysWhat was the email about?
