AmadiAba: On Monday, June 21, 2021, some members of the staff of a prestigious bank in Nigeria, Heritage bank, launched a protest against Nigerian senator and Anambra governorship aspirant, Sen Andy Uba, IGBERETV reports.
About 15 Heritage Bank staff were seen in front of his Abuja residence holding up placards with write-ups like, “we need our depositors’ funds, Andy Uba; we have been patient enough Andy Uba; Andy pay your debt to Heritage bank,” etc.
In a video that surfaced a few hours later, it was revealed that Andy Uba has owed the bank a huge sum of money for several years. It appears that the Senator obtained a loan from Heritage Bank, and previous attempts by the management to reclaim the debt have proven abortive. According to the employees, his debt is so enormous that it poses a threat to the employment of some of the employees of Heritage Bank.

My problem is I'm a jobless graduate, who works for a friend. This friend I work for, doesn't even pay, he just gives me stipends after every work I do. It's a laundry work. He owns the shop, so he's in charge of everything in the shop including, collections of money and all. My work is just to work. I do virtually everything
My problem is this guy almost all the time collects the money and doesn't even give me my share. The only time I see my share is when the I'm around when the monies are given to him.
I'm hooked because I mostly feed in there house, because the shop is just within the house. I tried to get a good job, but nothing is forth coming. I even tried applying for casual jobs, still no luck.
I'm currently in a dilemma because my parents are tired of me staying in there house, so currently I sleep in the shop, and it's not even conducive, but that's the only option I have.
I tried contacting my relatives in Lagos if I could go and make a living there, but they aren't really interested me coming.
Please I kindly need advise and help, because I'm heading towards depression.

A JSS 3 student, Nicholas Uyegher, who was allegedly killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 27, In Benue state, IgbereTV reports.
The incident happened at Tse Adai in Mbagwen community, Makurdi Local Government Area of the state last month.
IgbereTV gathered that the assailants killed Nicholas and his mother, Mnguzugwen Uyegher while his younger brother, Patrick managed to escape with injuries.
Nicholas' classmates at Daddy Memorial College Yagba, North Bank, Makurdi, paid a condolence visit to his family today, Thursday, May 20.
