You know nothing then.....a boy from an average Nigeria home washes two cars every morning,
Ensure the decorder is working for your pleasure, clear the grass in the compound, fix minor plumbing and electrical issues, kills the rat and cockroaches tormenting you in your room, irons plenty cloths on weekends, ensure the Gen is serviceable, run errands etc. The kind of beaten you get if you forget to do even the work you're not sent ehn!

We need not go too far or apply statistics....if we itemize chores in an average Nigeria home, boys are far more responsible than girls........what other things do girls do at home other than cooking, going to market and washing plates. Even the gas you use to cook the food, boys purchase it.


Itemize the chores in your home while growing up and let see how many you did on your own without any assistance and at what age you started and stop doing them.

Male children do more tasking chores....from waking up early to prepare popman's car for work to fixing stuffs and running errands....etc are those not house chores ?

To make matter worse, some male children can even cook better than their female siblings without being taught.

I haven't see the thread that necessitate this research however, you tried as female trying to find reasons for disparity in gender IQ.


Your research is biased and your sample mean lack adequate data to accurately portray the IQ distribution of gender in every fields, regions and situation.

For my discovered, best gift to earn me money, my wife must agree with the job. But my wife has a job which is at Cross purposes with my job. I'm the biggest asset she needs for her business to flourish, and she is the only person that must agree to work with me in my line of interest. That means if I lend my expertise for her business, she will still be seen as the owner. If she agrees to be with me in my field, her business will go down.

After back and forth arguments, I have realized that heaven will rather fall, wife won't support my business to leave hers behind. If she doesn't support mine, I won't go far in the business; if I fully support hers, she will own the business.

We will need many years to build her business before it can support a family. My own is currently supporting the family. Does that mean I married a wrong person?

What seems like a solution is if I can find another job that won't affect her business. But the only thing I like most is what I'm doing currently.

The simplest mistake you could make is to sacrifice yours for hers............thats an honest trap

Men base their own worth on superficial things like the expensive watch they have on, the cars they are driving, the money they have. Go to the profile pictures of most men on social media, they are either flaunting a wrist watch, shoes, a car, money, or some bottles of expensive champagne in the club. I once added up a guy on sociak media, who asked this your question, to tell him that the picture he has up, flaunting wads of cash, is why only women who want money are approaching him.
