locodemy:Thanks! I appreciate. |
pluto09:I had no target in mind, just to do some short term reinvestment in stocks with some idle funds. And my choice on uba and some other penny stocks was i felt it was undervalued having no much experience in stock trading but its been a stagnant stock likewise some others for a longer period. |
locodemy:I don't have a problem to solve. I don't think asking for your opinion is an offence. I have held this stock for over a year without any reasonable yield that's why i am asking if its good to sell now or still hold. |
Is UBA coming down? pls, can i sell now or still hold, i bought @ 4.20? |
OakPearl:Thanks! |
Bought UBA @ 4.20 Would you advise a sell or a hold? |

I don't think this is good for Nigeria's sovereignty & security. Modern warfare is fought by air & communication technology. If in a case of external threat to our national security, our communication lines could be shut off cheaply from their abode in favour of our enemy, who might be a political ally to the Indians, because we do not have control over our communication lines. Nigerian government should look into its implications. |
kettle84:You are right on point. I am with you on this. Its high time nairaland looks into the issue of underage infiltrating this forum and making some childish contributions all in the name of commenting. We must not segregate in all issues especially on delicate matters like this. This write up is of importance to all of us irrespective of regional belonging. It is pointing to some facts that are of benefits to us all as Nigerians. We should look beyond the author(s) of the letter, rather we should be concerned more about of what benefit is it to us. Greed/ selfishness, tribalism, and religious seggregation are our problems in this country which is creating a great divide among us as a result hampering the progress of our country in unity. Lets try as much to be non-partisans, not selfish, patriotic irrespective of our religious beliefs or regional affiliation to grow our country and also grow ourselves. |
BREAKING NEWS!!! President buhari was recently in New York city for the annual general U.N conference. As he was being driven to his hotel in the evening, they passed through a building with no lighting and in total darkness. He then told d driver."The Americans always talk about the electricity problem in my country, but look at that building",to which the driver politely replied,"Thats the nigeria embassy sir" |
Amajerry83:I was having this same issue for over 2years, and i did a lot of test and unsuccessful treatments from different hospitals including LASUTH. Not until about two weeks ago, i went back to my private hospital, Holy Trinity Hospital in Ikeja, where i met a a very good & detailed younger doctor, Dr. Michael, who recommended series of test for me including a Stomach ultra sound scan, behold it was peptic ulcer disease. Presently, i am still on some recommended drugs that will last for 6weeks and my condition is improving. |
Please, I need your thoughts on this verse. I couldn't really understand the reason behind it; "What do you want with us, Son of God?" they shouted. "Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?" Some distance from them a large herd of pigs was feeding. The demons begged Jesus, "If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs." He said to them, "Go!" So they came out and went into the pigs, and the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and died in the water. Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men. (Matthew 08 : 29 - 32 ) My question: Why did the demon possessed men beg Jesus to drive them into the herd of pigs as a result drowning & killing the pigs instead of driving them out into the abyss of hell? And also, what is the significance of Jesus' action here? |
And to think of it, it's these same judges that have pronounced judgement on other offending convicts and even sentence some to death unjustly. What a wicked world! A sinner prosecuting a sinner. May the souls of all victims that were condemned to death unjustly by our corrupt judges find eternal peace. To all lawyers; please do not condemned an accussed when its obvious that he is innocent of the accusations. Stand for truth and justice. |
bankyblue:Hey! Nigerian military has been rubbished by politicians since the advent of Nigerian democracy, 1999. It's no longer a profession known to uphold high discipline and integrity. I don't blame the low ranks of the Nigerian military since the superior officers do not have integrity and has embraced corruption, the low officers are following suit. |
FreeWorld23:Yes, but you can spend the 300k in less than two weeks abroad. Nigeria is growing as it is a gradual process. |
Buhari should stop complaining, is he not part of the predecessors (1983)? Rather, he should think of a way out of this mess or resign if he can't lead Nigeria. |
dre11:I don't understand the motive behind hiding a criminals face. This man has accepted his conviction to the crime, so he is a crminal and deserves a public show of shame so as to discourage him from commiting a crime subsequently, to deter other public viewers from crime, and possibly for other of his public victims, partners, friends, and colleagues to identify him. |
Do not outrightly put the word "Destiny" aside. First, you need to look deeply into the word and ask yourself if it truly exist. Which i firmly believe in as well as hardwork. But, if you say otherwise. Let's look at this case, what would you call the young leader of North Korea, did he get the position as a result of hardwork or destiny? "God's time is the best" do not necessarily mean you don't need to apply your own humanly effort. You need to at your best then you allow God to bless your efforts through prayers and supplications. yemmit90: |
Tritri:What do you expect me to do? I bought fbnh @ 6.74. May be, in my case i should kill anyone that is around me. Guy! just relax your mind. Business is a game of gain or loose. And the most important thing here is "patience". |
Is diamond bank a good buy? |
Car Softwares (TCM/ECU) update over wifi or GSM network with each car having a built-in sim card slot connected to the ECU & TCM which would be activated once the car is in use and it updates automatically whenever the car manufacturer releases any new update on that car model software. And the sim card slot could as well serve as a pre-installed tracking device for the car too. Reasons: Car software issues will be resolved easily & cheaper by the car user, no need of going about looking for a software technician to fix your car software issues. Some supposed car transmission issues would be resolved easily over the air software update not minding your location so long the car has a network connection just like the way mobile phones are being updated. Guess work by quack mechanics/technicians will be reduced in places like Nigeria where there are shortage of good mechanics/technicians. It will also improve the car manufacturer after sales service assurance to the user as there would be direct contact with the user whenever there is any update on the car softwares. |

This is totally wrong and not healthy for the sovereignty of a state like Nigeria. It is very bad for a state to negotiate with a terrorist/militant. This will prompt more groups and jobless or low income persons to indulge in such crime with the expectation of a negotiating reward from the government. The government should rather spend the funds meant to settle the militants to equip its military and engage the militants. But in all this happenings, i am suspecting our leaders and politicians behind these groups sponsoring them for their selfish gains. So, they front as advisers to the govt advising her to negotiate and compensate the militant groups whom later pass the funds back to these suppose govt representatives |
@ DevGuru: I feel your pain but i want you to know that you are not alone in such pathetic situation as a lot of other married couples are also undergoing situations like yours with some not been aware. This is a very delicate matter and you need to apply great wisdom. Do not think divorce yet as that may not be a good option yet. Note that in marriage, every woman has her own unique negative side likewise every man. And there is no successful marriage that has not had a quake like what yours is undergoing now. First step is, you should make a copy of that file by copying or transferring a copy to your device or phone as evidence. Then, call your wife and sit her down to discuss about it and why she had to record the conversation. But please, you must be very gentle with her. Do not show any anger or frustration. Put up smiles and laughter intermittently in the course of your discussion to hide your anger. This should make her relax too and being confused and sheepish. Do not react in anger or beat her even if she is shouting or whatever. If you do, everything is spoilt. Be open with her, say all that's in your mind, sweet or bitter, do not hide any words. Advice/ Talk to her like a baby, as she is to you, but in a very subtle manner but with deep feelings. Then if she isn't remorse for wrong doings and both of you were unable to reconcile this matter, call your dad to discuss with him on what is going on in your home. Tell him everything including the phone recordings. He too will apply wisdom in this matter to give you good advice on what steps to apply. Please, do not inform your mum and sisters or siblings in this matter. If you do, it might compound your problems and this may also be a problem for you if you eventually reconcile with your wife because they would dislike her and recall this issue in their mind anytime a talk on your wife comes up which might result to some kind of disrespect to you and your wife later. Your wife still loves you but she is just being naive and wrongly advised. I believe if you apply wisdom in this matter you would reconcile with her and she would systematically learn not to discuss her family issues with her sisters |
Good morning! I need idea(s) on any good appreciable penny stock, preferrably banking and maybe other sectors, to buy today for a short term investment. |
Advice needed!! Which is a good buy between skye bank and fcmb and any other stock you think is better now? |
Urgent advice needed pls: I bought UBA @ 4.20 last year, I am thinking of selling now @ 4.30 and to re-enter when its lower, maybe @ 3naira or below. Would you advise i go ahead? |
Big lie, oga Lai Mohammed! i got you on this lie. Tomatoes are largely cultivated in the North-west and North-central Nigeria. And the interior farm areas of these zones are not affected by Boko haram activities. The North-Eastern Nigeria is a Sahel region which mostly cultivate cereals, beans, and etc, and there's less large irrigation farming compared to the two other regions. Oga Lai! make you take am easy. It's better oga Lai keeps mute in some matters. |
Ignoramus & foolishness at the peak! I weep for Nigerians. |
