Romance / Re: Swiss Lady Bullied For Being ‘Ugly’ Spends Big On Plastic Surgery To Feel Happy by kenmaro: 10:36am On Nov 17, 2018
She just destroyed her natural God crafted beauty. The honest truth; she was very homily and beautiful before but now, she looks more like an artificial doll and a commercial sex worker except she was one before. Being ugly or beautiful is individual view or perception. Everyone is beautiful depending on your thought. You may sometimes even view an acclaimed beautiful person as being very ugly depending on your view point and vice versa.

Education / Re: School Demands School Fees From Parents Through 'Practical Work' (Photo) by kenmaro: 10:05am On Oct 31, 2018
Education has been thrown into the muds in Nigeria. Gone are the days when the main primary objectives of schools was to instill knowledge unto pupils. It's now all about financial profit making as its main primary objective and knowledge has been made a secondary affair which is now a concern on parents through loads of homeworks being given to the pupils for their busy parents to attend to after the days work.

Things are gradually getting clearer.
Peter Obi is Conservative......
Iweala will not yield to the sharing of the commonwealth but Soludo is approachable and will be a good candidate to play balls with.
Tell me why Thunder will not scatter the lineage of any leader that want to scatter this heaven made combo....

A solution to this problem is:

Atiku - President
Peter Obi - VP
Soludo - Minister of Finance & Economic Planning

Politics / Atiku Vs Buhari; Whither Tilts The Pendulum? by kenmaro: 11:15am On Oct 10, 2018
No doubt both candidates above are formidable in their own right, but let's look at their individual strength; *this is purely my personal analysis*. *This is not about social media noise of SAI BABA but the reality on ground!*

Let's consider the following points; why Atiku has a better advantage.

1. Atiku and Buhari are both Muslims and full blooded Fulanis, so the Hausa-Fulani ethnic stock, won't be concerned on who emerges.

2. The Northern Elders forum will always go for Atiku. Recall in 2007/2011, when the Northern Elders chaired by the late Ciroma, was faced with who to choose between Atiku, Aliyu Gusau, Buhari and Saraki, they unanimously choose Atiku; check records.

3. Integrity; Atiku has integrity issues so has Buhari; Before 2015, Buhari was viewed as a saint and has cult followership, but since, he was given that opportunity, he has not been able to deliver anything meaningful. Change sermon has seriously depleted and doesn't ring bell anymore. Besides Intels, Halliburton & Siemens scandal, APC doesn't have much against Atiku.

4. The Caliphate and Emirate council have withdrawn their support from Buhari. Recall that the Sultan of Sokoto was amongst the first to congratulate Tambuwal during his defection from APC  to PDP. The Emir of Kano has always been an Ally of Atiku and he has been vocal against the misgovernance of this administration. Go and Write it down, once the Sultanate and Emirate is against your ambition in the core North, just go and rest.

5. Virtually all Notable religious leader in the North is against Buhari from Sheik Gumi, El ZakZaky, etc. They have been going everywhere campaigning against Buhari, regretting while they voted against Jonathan.

6. Military Establishment from Danjuma, IBB,jemibewon Abdusalam, etc are already scared that PMB will turn into full scale dictatorship if re-elected. Besides OBJ, who may reconcile with Atiku in the next coming days, they will prefer anybody but PMB.

7. APC is currently in shambles right now. Consequent upon the primaries which is still going on as I write. Aisha Buhari has cried out, Governors Yari, Bello, Amosun, Akeredolu, El Rufai, etc are threatening brimstone and fire. I don't envy Oshiomole at all. Almost all the states APC is in control are having major crisis resulting from the conduct of the primaries. Adams automatic tickets to loyal Senators has backfired. Okorocha just returned himself and his son-in-law as Senatorial and guber aspirants respectively. And so on and so forth. I see this challenges snowball into unmanageable monumental crisis.
PDP to my astonishment achieved almost 90% rancour free primaries! And they will reap abundantly from the APC crisis!

8. Atiku political foray started more than 30years ago. You can see how he earlier rejected PH as venue for the convention, but later accepted and beat Wike to his game. The reason Atiku has not won the Presidency is because he has never emerged the candidate of a major National political party; ACN then was just a regional party. *With almost a limitless and unmatchable financial war chest, he will deploy his financial arsenal, knowing this is his last shot at the Presidency* I doubt if any politician as prepared as him.

9. The average Northerner likes power so much, whether they benefit or not. They know if PMB wins he has just 4 years, but if Atiku wins he might have 8 years. *I tell you with their penchant for love of power they might tilt towards Atiku because of another 8years!*

10. Recall that Atiku inherited the late Shehu Yaradua political machinery the SDP; even in Katsina he is loved because of this relationship. Most SDP members in other political parties will work for him. The roll call includes; IBB, Orji Uzor Kalu, Tony Anenih, Kingibe, Ibori, Lamido, Aliyu, etc.

11. The business establishment like banks, conglomerates, oil majors, magnates, business moguls, captains of industries, Importers/Exporters, etc will go for Atiku any day any time, you can take that to the bank

12. Religious bodies are already frustrated with PMB; There is no major Christian denomination who supported PMB in 2015, who are still with him now. From CAN, PFN, Oyedepo, Adeboye, Lazarus Mouka, Mbaka, Paul Enenche, Sulaiman, Bakare, etc has abandoned the change project. *Atiku will win majority Christian vote and divide Muslim vote with Buhari*

13. The Academia and the Labour movement have not hidden the direction they will go in 2019; it's almost anybody but Buhari.

14. Atiku's greatest selling point has been restructuring, but PMB doesn't even talk about it. The Southern and Middle Belt leaders will mobilise support for Atiku; Ohaneze, PANDEF, Afenifere, Middle Belt Forum, etc. Take my words to the bank!

15. Atiku will sweep votes from the North East; the sentiments are rife that no North-Eastern individual has ruled this country as President before! He will whip that sentiments massively. Watch Atiku, his propaganda campaign machinery might be second to none!

16. Just like PDP propaganda machine pushed PMB to victory in 2015, I see APC making a bigger blunder than PDP on Atiku. The way and manner they have started attacking Atiku even before campaign proper will eventually, endear Atiku more to the electorates. Remember how they lost Osun in the first round of voting regardless of the avalanche of attacks against Adeleke!

17. Geopolitical zonal permutations; SS & SE is already a given for Atiku. Atiku has always been a darling of the SW, besides the fact, that his most popular wife Titi is from there. In fact in the just concluded PDP National convention, the SW voted for him en block. Afenifere has been on the fore front of restructuring. In fact Pa Adebanjo, Reuben Fasoranti and Olu Falaye have said Atiku is the only candidate to implement restructuring. Middle Belt and North Central will go for Atiku. With the likes of IBB,jemibewon, Abdusalami, Saraki, Ortom, Useni, Mama Taraba, Mark, Gemade, Jonah Jang, etc leading the charge. They all believe Atiku is a moderate. NE is gone because of the earlier stated sentiments. NW votes will be splited; if Kwankwanso, Tambuwal, Lamido, Datti Ahmed, Turaki, Markafi, etc all agreed to work for Atiku, PMB will win NW, but Atiku will pick serious votes there. *Recall Zamfara is almost gone with Governor  Yari defection few days away*

Let me stop here before I start answering questions, I don't have answers for.

2019 is very interesting; Muslim VS Muslim, Fulani VS Fulani, Former APC VS current APC, North VS North, money VS more money.

If U Think The Roads In Ur Town Are Bad,Then You Need To See This Road In Nepal

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=10SjlFFg77E?t=3

If you think the roads in your town are bad, then you need to see this 95.8 km (60miles) long Manang road in Nepal.

The one-way ( impassable for 2 cars at the same time) road is very narrow and steep.

During rainy season, some areas are surrounded by giant waterfalls that covers the roadway.

A good driver must make sure he/she has a full tank and a well serviced car in order not to get stranded along this dangerous road.

Would you be brave enough to drive through this scary and dangerous road if that is the only route to your village or place of work?

https://autojosh.com/if-you-think-the-roads-in-your-town-are-badthen-you-need-to-see-this-waterfall-road-in-nepal/

It is either you are an APC member or Buhari himself of Buhari's child or a corrupt politician or you have in any way benefitted from corruption for you to be speaking in favour of bad governance in Nigeria.

Why would you compare a pass(road) that was well technically thought out with a lot of effort & resources may be to create a shorter temporary access way to an interior with our bad, neglected, poorly maintained, and pot hole filled roads?

Comments like this give succour to our corrupt leaders making them feel that they are doing fine in managing the affairs of an underdeveloped country like Nigeria compared to highly developed countries like China. Guy! stop posting trash like this for our leaders to see. Instead, post challenging articles that will keep them on their feets.

But, since they frown at alcoholic consumption in their locality. All indigenes of any state that has adopted and accepted the sharia law who are working or affiliated by any way to the alcoholic beverage companies or industry should be terminated with immediate effect as they ought not to earn income on or from alcoholic sales/businesses. Whilst, the FG should also henceforth deduct alcoholic industry income revenues from the federal allocations to all sharia states. Such alcoholic revenues should only be shared among none sharia states who allow alcoholic trade freely in their states.. These sharia states should note that receiving income/revenue from alcoholic trades/businesses is "Haram" (unholy) too.

Politics / From Riches To Rag; Venezuelan Economic Collapse: A Lesson To Nigeria by kenmaro: 8:55am On May 21, 2018
The Venezuelan people struggle to cope with the toxic effects of hyperinflation, severe debt and chronic food and medicine shortages, as Venezuela - once the wealthiest country in the region - is mired in the worst economic crisis in its history.
"Venezuelans today cannot eat. You see people eating from the garbage," says Professor Margarita Lopez Maya, Central University of Venezuela.
So how does a country boasting the world's largest oil reserves find itself on the brink of economic ruin?
It's the country's very history that sheds light on what has gone so drastically wrong in Venezuela today.
When Hugo Chavez was elected president in December 1998, he promised to tackle corruption and poverty. He used Venezuela's rapidly growing oil wealth to set up social programmes, known as the Misiones, with the aim of eradicating poverty and reducing inequality. It was, many claimed, a much-needed intervention in the entrenched disparity between Venezuela's rich and poor.
As Chavez strived to transform the nation with what he called 21st century socialism, his populist policies began to take a more radical turn. He nationalised industries and bloated state bureaucracy at great national expense, all funded by high oil prices and unchecked borrowing. Venezuela became saddled with record-high levels of debt.
By the time of his death in March 2013, Chavez handed over both the reins of power to his handpicked successor, Nicolas Maduro, as well as the poisoned chalice of an economy about to implode.
"Maduro has inherited a legacy of oil dependence at a period when Venezuela has gone bust, and at a time where the oil price has gone bust," says Professor Julia Buxton, author of The Failure of Political Reform in Venezuela, adding that Maduro "has simply not addressed any of the problems or the legacy that he inherited from President Chavez."
"The collapse of economic activity makes this period, from 2013 onwards, the largest recession in Western Hemisphere history - significantly larger, almost twice as large as the Great Depression of the US," says Ricardo Hausmann, former Venezuelan minister for planning.
The IMF predicts that in 2018, the Venezuelan economy will contract by 15 percent, and inflation will reach 13,000 percent.

But will those now tasked with governing a struggling nation learn any lessons from its troubled past?

Source: Al Jazeera News

Same question goes to Nigeria; Will those tasked with governing a struggling and corruption infested nation learn any lessons from Venezuelan economic crisis?

Please, I need advice on how to petition African Prudential Plc? I have some accrued UBA dividends of 2016 pending with them, I have applied and also processed my e-dividend payment since 2015 through my stock brokers and also requested for payment of my outstanding dividends but African Prudential didn't respond. I visited African Prudential office along Ikorodu road in person December 2017 to present my complaints and I was asked to refill an e-dividend form right there which i did and submitted after they confirmed my accrued UBA dividends. I made a a photocopy of the filled form and accruals before the submission. I visited African Prudential again in Febuary to know the status of my complaint since there wasn't a response from them after my last visit, I was told that they are yet to process my batch and that i will receive my payment in my account soon. Till this moment, 6months after, I am yet to receive a response from them. I have even sold off the shares as I am trader.
Please, i need some advise on the next step to take. Thanks!

I just hope this government is not borrowing to replenish our foreign reserve all in the name of an improving reserve deceit? All I know is that Nigerian foreign reserve is $20bn (Current reserve value, $47bn less debts, $27bn = $20bn).

There is nothing impossible for this government to do so as to deceive us.

APC should just keep quiet and concentrate on the way forward or vacate the position for a better group. Those figures can't make Nigeria go broke. APC is just displaying more and more their incompetency to handle the affairs of this country. A good leader complains less and strategise on the way forward even in a tough situation. For how long will APC keep complaining with no tangible improvement in the living of the masses? List and prosecute every Nigerian from 1960 to date, including those who defected into APC, that has in any way misapprioprated Nigerian funds. Let there be no sacred cow in the prosecution starting with the current president, his cabinet members, and every Nigerian including me if i have defaulted in my tax payment obligation. That's when I'll say true change has befall Nigeria.

I think this is a beautifully planned strategy by the president and his supporters not to create panic and disunity in the party ahead of his forthcoming successful relection bid. Afterwhich, the pro Buhari supporters would now execute their hidden desire against the party's strongholds like Tinubu and co.
