Exactly what I have been saying 👍. Government subsidy is normal for key services that drive the economy. Even America has housing mortgage subsidy, the UK and most EU have some kind of subsidy for families with kids, etc. Naija own dey tire person plus we Nigerians we quickly accept new policies not minding the effects on others once we are comfortable with it.. That I am financially capable of a service doesn't mean I shouldn't look at its effects on other less privileged. The most annoying part is that this same economic theory we are applying is same that was introduced to us by the whites but we apply them in criminal and selfish ways. Nbote: |
It's surprising! the practice of blurring established criminals face on social media. Are we protecting their identity or what? I suppose that once a criminal has been accused and established, their identity should not be protected so as to deter them from repeating such crime. |
NNPC 🤣🤣🤣! You guys have truly being doing crude swap? So, what part of the cost have Nigerian government being subsidising aside the logistics which should be a very minimal component of the total cost per Litre when we are getting it almost at a free cost save for the logistics cost and considering other by-products (bitumen,Resin, petroleum jelly, etc) of the crude that were not accounted for? This means that there has not been a subsidy all this while as acclaimed rather a product exchange (trade by barter). Now, NNPC is deciding to end a crude swap after removing subsidy when we know that such contract can't be abruptly ended without a prior notification to the other contractual party and why wasn't the contract discontinued before the subsidy removal? Why NNPC claim in other news that they increased the pump price on the available subsidised old stock so as to generate money for new purchase? Note, this business strategy should not be applicable to a supposed public corporation like NNPC who is expected to provide some basic needs affordably to her citizens and not whole profit driven. Removing subsidy whilst corruption thrives in the system is not a solution to a Nigerian economy that is solely dependent on total import and unattractive investment environment. These politicians will always devise other means of looting as long corruption thrives (unexecuted projects by government contractors, inflated project values, approving bogus pay cheques and allowances to themselves, etc). A true government must always provide one subsidy to her citizens in one way or the other. There are subsidized housing mortgages and health services in America, most European and Canadian government pay some educational allowances to families with children. This controversial fuel subsidy is the only thing every "common" Nigeria has been benefitting from the government, if truly there is even a subsidy. |
Recycling same old corrupt politicians. George Akume and Femi both recycled Former governor of Benue state and speaker of HOR respectively. Expect nothing special from this government! |
Anyone that believes this palliatives and refineries rehabilitation talks is being fooled big time. It's the usual talks just to calm Nigerians and overtime everyone forgets the cry and bear the pains. ...normal political strategy! Expect nothing from Nigerian politicians, they have thrown Nigeria into a very active volcano waiting to erupt hot magma 🔥. Unfortunately, our military who is supposed to be our side watchdog/mouth piece for checks and balancing has been systematically put under their armpit. |
Agbalowomeri:I love this, I won't sell. Thanks 🙏 |
beejay1:Please, I need very urgent advise on transcorp shares. I bought about 145,550units at 1.42 over 5years ago and I have been holding this, funds tied in there with no growth and no reasonable dividends. Though, I have no need for the funds now but I am thinking to sell off and look for a better stock with good appreciation to buy or buy back into transcorp with higher quantities if the price drops again as it has been doing? Kindly advise urgently please 🙏 @Mpeace @PETERiCHY @yMcy56 @BullBearMkt @Agbalowomeri |
Hoax!!! The status difference is very obvious in Lagos State where he helped increased the gap between the rich and the poor. |
This is commendable but the US shouldn't have returned this money at this time to this current Nigerian government cos it will definitely be relooted and used to manipulate the coming elections. All funds repatriation should be suspended until the new government comes in, whether same APC, PDP, or LP, irrespective of the winner. |
Deception !!! This is a political strategy to plant their moles in opposing parties to get info of their internal game plan. Other parties, be warned of decampee you accept as new member. |
Seeing all these, yet some foolish Nigerians will still fall around them in praises killing themselves for some very cheap token. Tonypens48: |
This is not up to a tip of an iceberg on what Nigerian politicians and leaders will receive from the corruption they bred in the system. It will definitely boomerang some day. |
This is not new, President Buhari said same thing, "I am for no one but for everybody", but still he disappointed Nigerians. Trust no Nigerian politician even if he is a clergy man. |
Absolute rubbish! Sharing an average of N3,000 among 90,000 families. |
Deception at its peak. |
The level of stupidity and foolishness in Nigeria is alarming. |
3,5, and 10. Just finished a delicious dish of number 10 with a very captivating banga soup. |
Too outrageous for a renovation! 40 billion will build it afresh with some good change left for another project. 234GT: |
Tell them please! They want to deceive Nigerians again by telling us another story to trick Nigerians into accepting their lies. They think Nigerians are in a dark age where information is hidden. Another Packaged Comic (APC). Kabongo1: |
I don't understand the Nigerian leaders. They should arrange an evacuation for Nigerians in Ukraine through Poland and other surrounding countries. Diplomatic agreements should be made whereby Poland is just an exit point for pickup. Only Interested Nigerians who wish to be airlifted back home will be allowed passage at the border and heavily guarded and escorted to the pickup point. |
My brother! I thought as much too. Spending such a whooping amount on an old outdated aircraft that may be used for just one or two years before decommissioning due to obsolete parts and onboard operating system. How much is even a brand new legacy 600 sef? Just to go for a supposed missing aircraft inspection, almost a complete cabinet was involved in the trip that is of no significant economic benefit to the state. SarkinYarki: |
Anything done without criticism is worthless. Everyone has his taste and opinion, they must talk. Note, all critics should refer to the subject title; "...my cheap self con" before criticising. He didn't tell you that's his best rather he is trying to present an economical/cost effective structure type for low income earners. The best we could tell him is to applaud his creativity. In conclusion of this project; @olukaygold, kindly state the total cost expended on this project for your followers to see. Cheers ! olukaygold: |
It's not a mandated expense, most people do it for status/ societal showoff. Truth be told; sometimes when you attend most funeral reception, in the course of the entertainment jamboree one might think they are in a wedding/marriage ceremony coupled with the decorations around. drizslim: |
This is very pathetic!!! They mess up the community and relocate abroad after leaving office to enjoy their loots causing a drain and nuisance in the Nigerian economy for which they never brought in any funds when coming in to assume office. It's high time the constitution is amended to allow only 100% Nigerian citizens to contest an election and be given appointments into public offices. Also, after leaving office he/she must reside anywhere in Nigeria for a minimum of 10years and must be available or present in Nigeria atleast 335days in a year. |
Go for Nokia G20 |
I do not expect an opposing comments from El Rufai, he has and will always make supporting comments to whatever policies of this current government and APC. He would have been in opposition if it was a PDP government or any other. Note; I am not a partisan person, I am part of the masses and for the masses. I support good leadership but the current happenings is a "NO". If APC was truly honest like it professed before 2015, it could have deployed the 2018 and 2019 subsidy budget of over 2.5 trillion naira respectively to revamp the existing refineries bringing an end to fuel importation as well as subsidy silently which is a hoax. And allow us to rest on subsidy story. There is no genuine subsidy on fuel and electricity. It's just a looting channel designed legally same with security votes provisions. |
This was what we were told in schools that the colonialists did to our parents in the colonial era and our leaders fought against such brutality. But today, that same our leaders from same origin are now doing even worst of what it fought against to his fellow citizens. |
Another trader money scam loading. There has been no subsidy anywhere in Nigeria. It's just a hoax created by politicians to syphon free money legally. Scam!!!!!! |
Exactly how I fixed mine myself on my mazda 6. A very easy DIY job but very technical. It wasn't clicking into park properly and the P won't illuminate on the dashboard cluster causing it not to start at park except on neutral (N). I had to detect that myself and fixed within 10mins. It has a biscuit kind of bushing that wears off overtime. |
Honestly! They are some bunch of idiots. Very very uncivilised and crude thinking people talking from the sides of their mouth. Sirpaul: |
