You first said, "MOST of the supposed cow meat...." That's where I have a problem with ur point. Are camels reared in Nigeria more than cattle? You might have seen camels being transported down south, but I haven't seen. As for cattle, that's a common sight.
So I fault your argument that MOST of d beef people buy are camel meat.

Pdp is a SE/SS party? Lol.
A party founded by Hausa/fulani is Ibo party? Wetin we no go hear from the ibos!
Like I said earlier, Yoruba don't have problem with either pdp or apc! The gist is that majority of the Yoruba in Lagos wanted to vote pdp to oust tinubu control and dominance over Lagos until Agbajechukwu showed his ibo card early which led to Yoruba going tribal in their voting which had never happen before! A case study is Jonathan winning in all Yoruba states despite the people voting apc for their governance in 4 out of the 6 states in 2011!
To the Yorubas, it doesn't matter what party group you belong as long as you have good agendas and intention towards them! However, Agbajechukwu tried to play smart and his ibo slaves too were cheering him on, thinking we are fool! I repeat, Agbajechukwu political agenda remain dead just as ibo politics in Lagos!
Let me also inform you that Yoruba batted no eye when igbokwe, an ibo man was appointed into fashola's cabinet and don't forget, Fashola is Apc! That should clear the lines that Apc never appointed any Ibo!
Lastly, no fulani took over Kwara because Kwara as at now, has Yoruba as its majority! What fulani did was to help Kwara gain her independence from Oyo and in return, became the emir in Ilorin, note Ilorin and not the whole of Kwara! This is quite different from igalas men that are killing ibos in Anambra, a no man's land!
Lol!
My dear, we can't continue like this. I have no strength for this back and forth argument. I've never argued this long with anybody before on Nairaland. I have important things to do with my time, and I'm also sure your time is precious to you.
So I say to you, hold unto your views while I hold unto mine.

Igala are killing ibos in number in aguleri! That's how to take over land, it's by conquering and destroying its citizen, not by getting a leased land, dumbo! Yorubas has various leased lands in london but no sane person can say they are taking over London!
Common, you should be preventing ibos from getting extinct in Aguleri rather than becoming joyous over leased land! Lol! What a loser!
No Yoruba even cared about Obanikoro giving his tickets to the ibos during the preliminary, just as no Yoruba blinked an eye when apc nominated igbokwe in its cabinet until agbajechukwu openly displayed his ibotic agenda and his fellow slavic ibo losers cheering him on. Agbajechukwu himself knows his political ambition in lagos is finished, just as his ibo 5th class slaves!
Bunch of chest beating ibo losers championing fellow losers!
Lol!
Hahahahaha. This guy is so dumb and grossly inexperienced. You should concern yourself with the raid fulanis are carrying out in Yoruba land. Kwara has been run over, and they are now taking over Oyo and Osun states. That should be a greater concern to you.

Border clashes happen everywhere so it isn't new, more so the one that is motivated by claiming of oil fields.
Governor Obiano told his people to relax while National Boundary Commission sorts out the issue, cos he's from Aguilera, and there hasn't been any clash this year. We are not irrational zombies.
My guy, Igalas can never stand Igbos any day any time, whether in population, wealth, political strength or anything you can think of,so just leave that argument. It's grossly illogical.

Yorubas didn't care about Igbos getting PDP tickets cos they were in APC and never expected Igbos to win. The entire electoral process was about Igbos and Yorubas in Lagos, and that's why Agbaje lost.
You lots say that PDP is a regional or SS/SE party. Why are you complaining about SE and SS people getting their tickets? You should be more concerned about your APC candidates winning elections in those constituencies. That's the one that concerns you, not who PDP chooses to present.
The same way you're making noise now is the same way you guys made noise before the elections, yet your people were displaced from their HOR seats. Worse will happen in 2009. And let me tell you, PDP chieftains will rather present Igbos and retain the seats than present Yorubas and lose to APC. Deal with it.

The fact remains that it was a yoruba man, Obanikoro and chiefs that gave you ibos ticket, which without ibos are nothing! What do you say to Ambode having no ibos in his new elected cabinet?
Let me also tell you that just as the nigerdelta leased their land to petroleum companies is the same all over Nigeria! Lands belongs to the indigenous people and can only be leased, not bought! What an illiterate!
Keep buying, slaves while leaving Anambra for the Igalas!
Bunch of losers!
Obanikoro and chiefs gave Igbos tickets and they won the elections, in your own region. I can see the cause of ur bitterness. Sorry, you hear? It's not our fault.
I give it you that PDP is still relevant in Lagos just because of Igbos, and they can't be silly enough to push away igbos in the party. Bring back your sermon the day Lagos APC starts giving tickets to Igbos. That's the day I will start taking you serious.

Call it lease or rent, the lands currently belong to those Igbo guys. Even my cousin has a land on which he built a 2 storey building in Ogun State. That's how bad it is. Sorry eh.

Igala taking over Anambra State? This is one of the most stupid statements I've ever heard, and I don't think it's worthy of a response. But let me clear you on this, Anambra West LGA has many Igala communities. The headquarters of the LGA (Nzam) is an Igala community. So I still don't understand you when you say Igalas are taking over Anambra. Have you ever heard that an Igala man was appointed a commissioner in Anambra? Guy grow up and get some knowledge.

Which territory are you conquering? You mean Anambra that is becoming desolate as a result of igala boys?
Imagine the same goat was lamenting how ibos in Lagos did nothing disrespectful except kanu but here, he's changed tunes to conquering territories! What a two timing bitchess ibos are!
It was a fact that the ibos that had their houses still intact got their houses after the civil war, a case study is Ojukwu's family who got their house!
Brainless bimbo also didn't know at the time the pdp tickets were sold out, agbajechukwu hasn't cause his ibos raucous in Lagos as at then. Infact, some Yoruba voted pdp to represent them in the senate house of reps! But this time, ibo won't even smell the tickets let alone contesting in the next election! Bunch of ingrates!
Eediot keep thinking Yoruba are jealous of their 2 by 2 shops!

This guy is just a clown. You're full of ignorance. Anambra becoming desolate because of Igala boys? Hahahahaha. Chai! You're extremely dumb, honestly. Oh my God! Which cave did you crawl out from? Are you living in this country at all?
Please take time out to travel to other parts of the country. You obviously haven't stepped out of Osogbo for once. Kai! Tufiakwa!!

If not for how shallow your reasoning is, you would have understood what I meant by conquering of territories. Who is talking about fighting battles here? The Igbo guys that buy lands and acquire properties in your village are conquering your territory under your nose. Deal with it!

Let's bet it, Igbos will still beat Yorubas in 2019 in the House or Reps seats. Infact, we will increase the slots from 3 to 5 or 7. If you like, jump into the lagoon. We don't care.

Losers!
Which form of disregard are you even talking about? The shop owners here have been abused, intimidated, insulted yet they've done nothing, only hoping that things would straighten out. What is happening in the markets has nothing to do with Nnamdi Kanu or the online rants of some "Biafran soldiers".
Businesses owned by Igbos have been suffering for several years because of the hatred of the so called "hosts". Many markets have been set ablaze in the past, just in a bid to forcefully vacate those igbos out of the markets, even before social media rantings by youths came into existence.
What is happening is nothing more than exhibition of shear jealousy.

You asked, "Yorubas also disregard their host in U.K, makes hates speeches against the british in the person of kanu, call them names, disregard London as a no man's land?"
Do you think Westerners have this crude mentality that Nigerians have? Nobody cares about whatever rants you make online or offline. If you compete favourably with citizens, you will get what is due you. Igbos who live in Lagos are competing very well with Lagosians. They've refused to be intimidated.

I've noticed you're full of hate and bile, and that's why you keep spewing those vile words. Any repeat of an insultive word in your mention, and I'll ignore you for good. Mind you that you weren't the one I quoted in the first instance.

Bro don't go there oo. I'm neither Yoruba nor Igbo, not a Hausa or Fulani man, but if you ask me, I think in terms of accommodation, the Yorubas do better than most other tribes in the country. There is no better demonstration of accommodation than political inclusiveness. I know there aren't indigenous Igbos from the SW (I stand to be corrected), yet we have Igbos being named commissioners and given other political appointments, contest and win elections (both Federal and state), etc. I don't know of anywhere in the SE (I stand to be corrected) where a Yoruba man is given such privileges (rights).

NB: I'm neither pro or anti Yoruba or Igbo, just stating facts as I know them.
Omenka, you should try and understand the nature of Lagos as a state. Lagos is a cosmopolitan state and is the most developed in Nigeria. It is closest to the Western Nations than any other state.

The indigenous people of Lagos are very few compared to the entire population of Lagos, and many are not politically empowered.

Lagos can never be sustained by it's indigenes alone. It can't even be sustained by Yorubas alone, if other tribes are forced to vacate Lagos today.

Many people from other states and regions have invested massively in Lagos, and are therefore very important to the state.

For these and many other reasons, Lagos is expected to operate like other developed cities of the world. Why should it be a big deal that an Igbo man is a commissioner in Lagos when Igbos or Yorubas (Nigerians generally) are Mayors, Parliamentarians, top government functionaries in other cities and Nations of the world?

Are you aware that some of those Igbos were born in Lagos, have lived all their lives in Lagos, and have been investing massively in Lagos? Why can't they seek elective positions in the same place that is like home to them?

It's different from asking whether Yorubas or Hausas are being appointed in government in the SE, just the same way Igbos are never appointed in government in other SW states. The reason is that there are only very few non-indigenes who invest in the South East and make the SE home to them. Igbos are usually the ones that take other regions as home, though I also learnt there are many Yorubas in Kaduna.

If a man from Ogun state, Oyo state etc can govern Lagos state, I see no reason why a man from Imo state, Rivers state or Plateau state can't, if he has the political capability, and has the support of the people of Lagos. You know why? We don't run a regional government but a Federal system of government, thereby making all the individual states to be distinct on their own, rather than as a unit in a region or zone.

it's just so sad that the igbos go around insulting and cursing other tribes, yet when those ones turn against them they cry foul, we have seen it happen in the north.

they tell you that you are inferior to them and without them you cannot live. they don't do it from their homeland biafra, No, they invade your space and spit in your face. you get angry and react, then they point and say "look, they hate us, let us form Biafra", yet the following morning, they pack themselves full of luxurious buses and still invade your space.

Lagos is a microcosm, where almost all the tribes are represented, But you don't hear any of the others causing trouble, it has to be our Nigerian "Jews".

That's why I advocate, let's help them get their country. that way we can all live in peace.
Guy, say d truth when you see it. This has nothing to do with insulting and cursing anybody. Did you read the article at all?

Most of the Igbo guys making all those boasts do it online, or among themselves (fellow Igbos). Igbo men in Lagos don't go about boasting to their Yoruba neighbours that they are superior, neither can they even dream of it in the north.

The markets are dominated by Igbos, and many Yorubas are getting jealous. While I understand their jealousy, just like the Ghanaian lady that posted a few days ago of how Nigerians are taking over big businesses in Ghana, their approach is very bad and wrong. Yorubas run big businesses in another country (Ghana), but are not harassed the way Igbos are harassed in their own country.

To solve this whole crisis in Lagos and the overpopulation of Lagos, the FG should be willing to open up other cities for business, thereby decongesting Lagos. International airports and Seaports should be empowered in the South South and South East, so that some attention should be diverted from Lagos. That will go a long way in making Lagos more habitable, and solve some of these ethnic tensions, as some non-indigenes will certainly find their way out.

Lagos can't claim all the economic goodies of Nigeria, and then Yorubas won't want Igbos to enjoy the benefits alongside.

70 million naira for independence celebration by the FG is freaking small, and the president should be commended. People spend much more than that just to organise their weddings. If it were GEJ, that celebration would have gulped nothing less than 500 million naira, or even up to 1 billion naira.

I DIDN'T MENTION GOVERNMENT SETTING BECAUSE MEDICAL DOCTORS AND DENTISTS ARE ON THE SAME SALARY SCALE. THEY ARE BOTH UNDER MDCN AND NMA.

Nigga, u quite agree that dentistry is way tedious than medicine but u became sarcastic along the line listing the courses medical students do that dental student don't offer. And that I beg to differ.

DENTISTRY IS MORE TEDIOUS, BUT NOT TO THE EXTENT YOU'RE TAKING IT. I HAD DENTAL FRIENDS IN SCHOOL. THEY UNDERWENT MORE STRESS, BUT THEY WERE NOT REALLY MORE INTELLIGENT. MOST OF OUR COLLEAGUES THAT MADE DISTINCTIONS IN 2ND MBBS/BDS PART 1 WERE IN MEDICINE.

Do u actually mean when u discuss OandG, ophthalmology and your community health, a dental student will keep mute?

THEY WON'T KEEP MUTE OBVIOUSLY, BUT THEY KNOW JUST VERY LITTLE IN THEM, JUST LIKE MEDICAL STUDENTS WON'T KEEP MUTE WHEN DENTALS DISCUSS ORAL BIOLOGY OR DENTALS SURGERY. HOWEVER, DENTAL COURSES LIKE OPERATIVE TECHNIQUES AND PROSTHETIC TECHNIQUES DEFINITELY SOUND STRANGE TO MEDICAL STUDENTS.

But u sure know more than I do how numb u'll be when the dental guys talk

LIKE I SAID ABOVE, IT DEPENDS ON THE DENTAL COURSE BEING DISCUSSED.

And tell me you did all about radiology, ophthalmology and OandG. Because as far as I can remember, I believe there are residency programmes for these courses. LMAO

WELL, I WAS MERELY REFERRING TO THE BACHELORS DEGREE COURSE OUTLINE OF THOSE COURSES. I DO HOPE YOU KNOW THAT NURSING STUDENTS DO A BIT OF PATHOLOGY AND PHARMACOLOGY, BUT CAN YOU COMPARE IT TO THOSEE BEING OFFERED BY MEDICAL AND DENTAL STUDENTS? You kids keep spoiling this section. I am sure your lazy brain could not even comprehend what u read. Is thr the best PDP can do. Put juveniles on the e-plat form to rant and comment with any iota of idea.
This issue started from last year mad who was the president then. The question u should be asking is what happenened the our wealth when a barrel of oil.was as high as 180usd under the watch of Jonathan, Deziani and Okonjo who kept telling us our economy was growing? I cant keep wasting time on juveniles.....
A barrel of crude oil was 180 USD? On earth or Mars? Guy, stop exposing your ignorance. Crude oil price has never got to $140 per barrel before, and the highest it ever got was in the time of Yar Adua.
EducationRe: 7 Most Difficult Courses To Study In Nigerian Universities by Kennydoc(m): 10:29am On Sep 22, 2015

Nigga, let me give u a detail courses a 400level dental students as done, may be u can now restructure ur inference about wish is tougher or harder:
Anatomy
Physiology
Biochemistry
medical psychology
Clinical psychology
Medical statistics
Morbid anatomy
Pharmacology
Medical microbiology and parasitology
Clinical pathology
Heamatology and blood transfusion
Burns and plastic surgery
Orthopedic and trauma
General surgery
Medicine
Radiodiagnostic/radiotherapy and radiology
Anesthetics
Community medicine
Minor classes in opthalmology, O and G,...

U see, this said 400level dental student doesn't know jack as far as dentistry is concern for his level, he actually hasn't started.

When medical students are talking medicine, u and I know dental students aint novice, they can actively engage them BIG TIME.

But when dental students are talking dentistry, my God! Medical students are stack illiterate.

For outside(non medical related) observers this might sound funny since many people think dentistry is just teeth, but that's the bitter truth...no wonder dentist are better paid

If am wrong, any medical student can quote me
The first statement I made was that Dentistry is more difficult than medicine, but then again, your post shows a bit of inexperience.

I schooled in uniben, so I understand how the dental programme is there. I read medicine by the way.
Dental students in uniben only do medicine and surgery in 500L. They are only taught a bit of both courses, not the whole details because their medical counterparts offer the same courses in parts of 400 till 600L. The coverage for medical students is much wider, based on topics taught.
Dental students have no business with O&G and they only do a bit of Radiology and Ophthalmology.
Also in uniben, they do Community dentistry, which is a far cry from the entire Community Health.

If however you school in OAU, then I may agree with you to some extent because OAU awards their Dental graduates Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Other schools just award Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

It will be a delusion of the highest proportion to think that the core dental courses can be added to most of the medical courses, and you will be able to go through it in 6 years. It's only selected topics in core medicine and Surgery courses that dental students are taught.

To say that dentists are better paid anywhere in the world shows that you're inexperienced. The highest paid medical practitioners are usually Neurosurgeons and Anaesthetists. In private practice in Nigeria, Dentists are very poorly paid. Ask your senior colleagues in school.

Yes, you are right, Ibos managed the economy and brought it to its sorry state where everyone is suffering except me, myself and I.
Stop reasoning with your anus. The bad state of our economy is primarily as a result of drop in the price of crude oil. We've been running a mono economy for decades. It wasn't because of financial impropriety of the past managers of the economy that things got bad.
BusinessRe: List Of Nigerian Tycoons That Impact Ghana's Economy by Kennydoc(m):
I'm a full blooded Igbo guy, but as much as I hate to admit it, Yorubas are leading the rest of Nigerians in real, innovative business enterprises. We're better with open market trading, which is gradually being overtaken by newer innovations in business.

I watched a programme last year where Tony Elumelu Foundation gave award to 100 upcoming businesses in Nigeria. To my utter shock and dismay, over 70% of the businesses were established by young Yoruba guys. Frankly speaking, I was jealous that day.

No matter how we want to look at it, Yorubas are a great people. Their language and culture is very much ahead of those of other regions in Nigeria.

I hate it however when Yorubas bash Igbos here on Nairaland, because no other tribe would have gone through what Igbos went through in Nigeria and still remain strong today. Igbos are strong, intelligent, resourceful, with a very resilient spirit. This is what has been making way for us in Nigeria and all over the world. If there will be a next world, I would rather be Igbo.

After the civil war in 1970,many Igbos who had thriving businesses and industries, investments in real estate etc in Lagos lost them to their Yoruba partners. These guys had to start building again from the scratch, and that's why most indigenous industries in Lagos today are owned by Yorubas. Prior to the civil war, Igbos had a clear advantage in business ownership in Lagos.

As for Ghanaians, I feel their pain. It's the same way I feel sad about Indians and Chinese running successful businesses in Nigeria, and even exploiting Nigerians alongside yet our government can't defend us. I hope their government will find a diplomatic way of handling the issue, so that the wealth of Ghana will also circulate in the hands of citizens, not just foreigners.
