Chi59:Same here. Maybe everything is not for everyone anyway. |
dilodavid:As in ehn....that's my number one task any tym I'm wit a new girl, "make her love me more". Nothing else happens until this is achieved. I then sit back and enjoy myself. |
63-3?? Which kain loss be dis? Omo jazz follow for this one oo... unbelievable! |
Give white-collar jobs a break for now...Try blue-collar jobs and thank me later. |
DON'T DO IT! Irrespective of modernity and civilization,Nigeria is still rooted in culture and traditions. So in the case of disunity and breakup which is bound to happen, who then owns the child/children? From where I come from, a man has no right whatsoever on the child/children begotten to him by a woman on whom he paid no dowry on. The child/children belong to the woman's family. Think 'bout dat. It's a typical case of monkey dey work baboon dey chop. Moreover there is no legal backing to such contract. It is more or less ordinary friendship and anything goes. U can still find a decent girl to marry and u don't hav to break the bank to start a family. Everything boils down to how u as the man plan ur life to be. P.S: OK u live abroad? Still don't do it. History on such cases are not nice. |
Toks2008:You are not the man getting married so why take it personally? I still maintain my stand that the couple are tying the knot a bit late, their throwback was ideal. And that's my opinion. So if u hav a problem with dat, that's ur headache. Go find a post that aligns to ur thinking and quote and leave mine. |
Abfinest007:Yes,not just looking it but really old. Yea becos they waited for too long. They were good to go judging by the throwback. All the best to them anyway. |
Charleys:Hahahaha... Aswear that girl is nuts. The way I skip her post ehn... No substance, just like this one. |
BanevsJoker:Zlatan Ibile has overshadowed him in the street game. He is now reduced to a noisy singer. This was a one time self-acclaimed street rap king. Consistency is key. He lost it the moment he chose to sing for quick commercial money not minding the long-term effects. Now when he try to rap, it seems like a child's play. Shey him been dey release albums back to back since 2011? But we never hear from him for 3 yrs now or so. Phyno is next. That 0ne has lost it also. |
blizard44:'' U don forget me na'' I hate that line so much. They themselves what kept them from keeping in touch? Infact I have made up my mind this yr to forget such ppl. |
Amstupid:Wizzy is 29 Turned 29 in July |
GODPUNISHALABI:What exercises do u recommend to build the legs? And Do u work on the legs same time with the arms and chest or on a separate time? |
U lack confidence as a person, not just as a man. Something tells me u are also introverted, but that's not the problem. The problem is not even the market women but you. Are u the only single man that goes to market ? I think u are taking life a little too seriously. U need to ease up a little. I'm also a single man and I do my shopping and cooking myself. See u can't stop these women from making such negative comments. It's the way u react that matters. Don't take their comments too seriously. Sometimes they do tell me ''men don't bargain, men don't ask for jara, bla bla bla'', I laugh it off and reply jokingly like '' so as a man I should 'dash' u all my money abi? And life goes on. One good tip I also use is buying always from particular sellers instead of roaming the market every time. I have at least one or two particular sellers I buy from, be it meat, fish, garri, oil etc. It makes my shopping easier plus they always treat me well not wanting me to patronize another seller but them. Sometimes I leave change for them..... Like I said earlier, it's not about these w0men but about you. See the fun side of it. |
obillyj:I thought as much u don't want a salaried job, and I quite understand how difficult it is to save as an employee in Nigeria that's why I said ''a job that allows you flexiblity of time''. One major reason most employees save little or nothing is because they spend a lot of time at work. Some don't even have time to cook, wash their clothes and do certain things for themselves let alone think of a side hustle. They come back each day fatigued only to jet off the next day. It therefore becomes difficult to save with this kind of lifestyle. But when u have a job that allows u free time, say a part-time job, contract job, etc, u have time for urself and above all, time for a side hustle. I bet u many contract/part-time workers are better off than their regular counterparts. Do not neglect flexibility of time in any job. Infact it's a criterion some job seekers look out for. |
lomprico:From the tone of her post, I don't think the OP has the mindset of working for a salary / wage. Her concern is how to raise fund for her biz besides loan, and I'm trying to let her know she could actually raise fund by getting a job. I hope you are now clear?? |
MaziEDOZIE:Getting a job in Nigeria, I agree is not easy but it's not difficult either. The major problem is that the available jobs are not what job seekers really want. |
Get a job that allows you flexibility of time. May be a part-time or contract job. Save as much as you can. Use the free time to build urself and the business. |
Even if there is biz u can start up with this paltry sum, u will still need more money sooner or later to grow the biz. I suggest u save ur money cos running a biz with this sum will only amount to blowing money away.Unless u just want to just experiment. |
iammo:.....an hybrid..... (a hybrid) U are Yoruba to the core |
Amstupid:A carton of indomie contains 40 packs. If u had bought a carton instead of 40 packs, u would've saved more money plus the carton would've made ur hawking biz easier... Borrow sense next time. |
AstroG:All this nonsense because u don't agree with me. What happens to disagreeing politely or better still waka pass? U know what? Ur post is the real rubbish . |
RejectedStone:True. Every good looking lady will have at least 2 different men woo her every week. Even married ladies are not left out. U see how difficult it is for a lady to be single. Even ur girlfriend has ''toasters'' on a daily. But this is not so for we men. If u don't go out there and talk to a woman, u could remain single for ages. See, when I like a girl, I don't care whether or not she has a boyfriend. I shoot my shot and hang around. It's now left for her to decide if she is single or not. |
No woman is really single. If ur feelings for her is really genuine, then be patient with her. But if na to just chop & clean mouth, let her go. |
Stop it. It's childish. Poeple must be better than you. Just give urself some break from all social media platforms, say 6 months. You can use alternate accounts to keep up with updates till things turn around. With ur alternate account, just keep/follow very few people. Truth is, social media has a way of making one look inferior when one is struggling to find his/her feet. Mind u Xmas is coming, it's gonna be crazy on social media. |
Conceptman:On which rail den go run? We neva reach |
Finally Alexx balding is 90% completed yet im neva marry, pikin im neva born. Kind of strange for today's celebrity. |
This man is too old for this nah... |
I guess u don't want to build a career in teaching, u just need the job to keep busy and sane while u wait for a better opportunity. if that's the case, accept the offer. U will be better off than staying idle at home. I hope u find a better offer soon. Goodluck |
Even b4 opening the thread I knew it would be oyinbo guy. This cannot happen to a Naija guy. Hot food ke? |
Where u base now? Me : Enugu Asker: which side for Enugu? I will never tell u the truth no matter who you are. U cannot com and be marking me so closely. |
Phenomenal16:First thing I noticed |
