simplepee:YES Ma'am! Sorry...yes girl! |
simplepee:So you are still a girl sef?? As in...GIRL?? Lol! Thought you were a lady. |
Holarbizzy042:We are together on this one. I fear being broke even more than death itself. That moment ur balance keeps going down and no hope of income at sight. Omo, the fear no be here! Being broke most esp for too long make me helpless, shatters my confidence, esteem, hope, dream and all what not. All which are essence of life. My only fear about death is dieing without accomplishing my purpose on earth. May We Never Die Broke. |
I thought slave labour ended with slavery centuries ago? What sort of nonsense is this? ![]() |
McStoic:Raise money indeed! A weeding is not a fund-raiser. Just do and go face ur marriage. This errorneous thinking has landed many newly couples in serious debt after elaborate arrangement. If money dey make ppl enjoy, it's a celebration. |
They always need because they don't pay well and people are always moving .[/quote]More reasons not to consider a teaching job let alone taking one. Been there b4, very frustrating experience. |
Goodness34:LOL... Just like asking ''is it in every state that main market exist?'' And of course YES! There is always a big market for every commodity in every state. The difference is the name. What u hav as computer village in Lagos is known as Emeka Offor plaza in Onitsha, Anambra State. Some other states hav other names. But away from major markets, a market is a market and can be found everywhere. Know what ur market wants, provide it and get paid. SIMPLE. |
Joysticks:I have reacted to this extensively while responding to a fellow with similar question. check page 3, just above this comment. |
hollah123:I hav answered to this extensively while replying to a fellow that asked simiilar question. It's on page 3. Summary, be passionate, have goodwill, be credit-worthy, monitize ur skills. |
topiiiiiiii:WRONG! This is far from sugar-coating or motivational crap.Hav u been to main market or computer village? Did you know that many guys don't hav shops or goods yet make good money on a daily? They accost u,take u to a shop, sell to u and take their commission without ur knowlege.Ever heard of GOODWILL? If u have it u can receive goods on credit, sell and take ur profit.Did u know poultry farmers procure feeds on credit, raise their birds, sell and return the principal to feed sellers. With ur smartfone u can take a picture of a product and post for free on ur social media page or online retailer like jiji or olx, make ur customer pay b4 delivery, procure and deliver! what of skills like writing, drawing, graphic designs, home tutoring, running errands, laundry(from home) |
marwanafrica:Nothing new or strange. Observe the numerous hustles around you, make a list of the ones you hav passion for and then go for the one you are more skillful in. |
Vicktomaniaa:It's nothing new or strange. same old format; what are the things you are passionate about? They must be able to generate reasonable income and not just a hobby. Make a list of these endeavours and go with the one you have more skills for. |
How can you say that capital is your problem in starting a biz? The fact remains that u hav never been passionate about starting a biz. You prefer the easier route which is a paid job. So quit blaming lack of capital |
Kenoxman:You probably will have at least 2 potential employers calling you especially private schools. But this would more likely land u a peanut pay with so much work, stress and dissatisfaction. What you need right now is an income generating skill. There aren't much meaningful jobs this days for graduates frm depts like Pol Sc, Pub admin, Sociology, Social work and co. So sad! I wish u realized earlier. |
Smallworld2020:But how where you able to start a family when u had no tangible source of income? This really beats my imagination. Too risky if you ask me.Anyway as u are desparate for a source of income, sit down and prepare ur cv and send to at least 5 establishments each week.Don't wait to see vacancy, just call at different offices and drop ur cv. Tell them to call u if they happen to need ur services |
All These stress and embarrassment on top 25k that wouldn't carry u for 3 weeks? And to even think it's a temporary engagement. Pls take my advice; whenever u are looking for a job, never be broke. Have a small biz or skill that fetches u income no matter how small. That way u are more confident and stand a better chance at negotiation with these exploiters that call themselves employers. You don't fall for anything cos u are not desperate and u give them terms and conditions instead of vice versa. All u need do is to develop urself and be highly resourceful and watch them bend to ur whim. Never been to an interview in corporate dressing. All I do is dress smart. Do any how and I tender my resignation and move on. Anyway, I had to give up on a salaried job cos of issue of TIME. Instead of gettin stucked in a modern day slavery in the name of job, I rather use it to pursue a number of legitimate hustle. Rest, flex and still make far more money while keeping my sanity. Never be broke while searching for a job! |
RSVP:You must be talkin about Sunset Riders then. Choi! man don old o! |
vybzkartel:Your desire should be to build ur legs more. Too tiny and doesn't match the big trunk. |

clockwisereport:Yeah, he had his flaws like most Nigerian lecturers but his greatest undoing was his inability to control his penchant for alcohol. Stuff messed his kidney up. Remember back in 2014 in Pol sc Dept, Dude reeked of alcohol while in class, meaning he dey booze B4 coming to class. No wonder the level of energy wey dey always shark him. Loved his teaching style though even as he was inaccurate most times. Class was always lively. RIP Ochili eme na nze |
clockwisereport:He is dead now. died last yr of kidney disease. Rip to him. |
slimjohn2k5:Getting a teaching job is easier now especially in private schools, why? because a lot of private school teachers hav sought for other alternatives havin learnt a bita lesson from the covid-19 lockdown experience. So most private schools are in shortage of teachers. If u really need one then submit ur application to at least 5 schools this comin mon. Don't wait to see vacancy. Just go straight and submit ur application to the principals' desks and ask them to call u incase there is any vacancy. I bet u at least 2 would most likely call u for interview in the next 2 weeks or less. This approach is tested and trusted! |

ONLY YOU?? |
Forget broilers 4 now. The hike in doc, feed, drugs plus the stress...not worth it. Rear local turkey instead and hav peace of mind. But if you must rear chickens go for noilers. |
The thing is, even when such ''secrets'' are revealed, most poor folks do not have the discipline and financial intelligence to act on them. Most poor people are primarily concerned with immediate gratification, reason why they are contented with daily bread. They don't have the courage to save and invest. And even when they save it's primarily to solve a future problem and not to multiply it. Reason why u give some poor folks a million naira each, 90% will go broke before the yr runs out and will even go neck-deep in debt, poorer than before! Poor folks have been robbed by their poor mentality big time! There are no secrets! What we have are rules and principles of wealth creation which every one knows. The difference is in the application. We have rich farmers, artisans, small biz owners etc bt most poor folks think they hav to become a politician or own big biz like Dangote or Otedola to become rich.Knowlege is not power, the application of knowlege is. The big question is ''do you have what it takes?'' |
Dayveedolu:POULTRY. But stay away from broilers for now. High cost of doc, feed, drugs and vaccine will make you struggle to rear 25 pieces with that amount let alone 50 pieces(one carton) which is impossible. Instead go for local turkey and cockerels(white and black) and noilers. These categories of birds eat lesser feed at their early stages and when they begin to consume bigger(4 wks upwards) u can easily mix their feed with components such as malt, wheat, corn chaff etc inorder to to minimize cost and ur birds performance still won't be affected. An advantage u can't get with broilers. Plus they are more resistant to diseases. Hit me up if u are a newbie and u are interested. |
How can somebody who was born in 1987 be 31 in 2020? The body sef dey show the real age |
BrightestFuture:Sorry this is coming late First your primary concern should be to stop acne and pimples from appearing on you face. Black spots will gradually fade with time. First, stop using a toilet soap for ur bath, use a good medicated soap instead. Pple who are prone to pimples and acne react badly to toilet soaps. This causes more eruption. If you must use a toilet soap pls avoid your face. Use facial cleansers at night. Papaya is very good. After using a cleanser, rinse ur face with water only. No cream at night. Have a good cream that suits your skin colour. Use it in the morning after bath. Try and be taking ur morning bath early enough. Latest 8 am. Some medicated soaps and facial cleansers can make ur face rough if you don't moisturize after because of the active ingredients which drains oil from the face. So after morning bath with medication soap use cream. Don't worry for the night. Just use a cleanser and clean water, u will be fine. Avoid indiscriminate washing of face during the day. It makes ur facial skin rough. Any acne cream that makes ur face oily is a no-no. Funbact-A, and other antibacterial cream should be avoided. To get rid of ur pimples, try washing ur face with Omega antiseptic soap. The soap will clear ur pimples and stop it from reappearing within 2 days. In fact u will start seeing result in less than 30 minutes after use. But you must moisturize ur face because the soap can dry ur skin afterwards. The soap is manufactured by MENIKS IND. NIG LTD. and it's just ₦100. |
