I have been observing the way people criticized senior men in this platform, men of renowned of the past ( whether religious or political) and present without any iota of respect or honour forgetting that God hears it even if they have goofed or made any mistakes.The consequences are terrible, men and women beware,God has no respect of persons.Remember Miriam and Aaron who criticized Moses in the bible.

You brought this kind of issue that requires wisdom and maturity to a place like Nairaland which is full of riffraffs and good-for-nothings and you except to have sensible and reasonable comments? You are joking. People that are worse than that your sister's husband are more than responsible people on Nairaland. My own advise is very simple, your sister should cut ties with that liability of a husband with no future and face her life and her children. Your family can return whatever bride price he paid to tie your sister down and file for divorce if she did a registry wedding. The more she stays with him, the more he complicates the journey of her life and the life of the children.

I bought the car as Nigerian uses in June, I noticed the transmission was low a day after I bought it n go 2 liters of original Honda dw1 transmission fluid n topped up.i kept checking dipstick every morning n noticed it kept going down, I do see the trans fluid dripping when I park n look under the car

Take the car to a proper technician to look at it and fix the problem once and for all. Glue will melt away when the engine/gear gets hot.

That kind of surgery is very risky o. Why not get a tokunbo engine of that car and fix if you still want to enjoy the car? Better still, sell it off, there are people that will appreciate this car better than you.

I'm currently in a very bad situation right now with a technician I trusted and relied on. I met him on Nairaland many years ago and have fixed a few cars requiring minor fixes(legs) with him.

If you dont move your car out of his workshop on time, he will start removing parts from your car to fix other people's car. If he doesn't remove parts from it, his colleagues who have seen your car stranded with him for so long will secretly be harvesting parts from your car to fix others. Find every means to remove your car either by force or by fire.

The car in question is a peugeot 407, 2008 model. I was going to get a camry 08 before but I had to support my kid bro with financing his japa to Canada. I should have enough cash by early January of next year.

I will advise that you dont rush to buy a car so that you will not rush to resell the car. Why not wait till that January when you will have enough to buy a car you will be sure about. Peugeot are very sensitive and any wrong electrical repair will make the car become epileptic. Get the Honda Civic if you see one in good condition and thank me later.
NB: Whatever the car you decide to buy, go with a technician to check and scan the car for error codes and professional advice.

My DC 2007 leaks transmission fluid when I'm driving . Mechanic says it is leaking at the top of the transmission just under the battery, that he will use 1000 naira gum to stop the leakage. Please I need advice as I don't know if ordinary 1000 naira gum can solve this problem. Does anyone have similar experience or know about how this leakage be permanently solved or will the gum work as suggested by my mechanic. It only leaks out when engine is hot, when parked to cool, the fluid doesn't leak out

I will personally choose VW Passat. German machine.
Peugeot is less tolerant of abuse and spare parts not so common.
