One gets used to it over time.In medical school, when you start anatomy practicals, you get put off by the smell and the corpses but by the time you are done with the session, you could chew gum while in there.

You squeeze the juice into the water. Ginger juice is from ginger now, take some the size of thump, grate it and pour into warm water. Strain the water and drink it.

I dunno if you can buy off the shelf o grin
Clearer now. Thanks

grin grin grin grin E be like say dem take shiken and ships swear for you. I used to do that lemon and ginger ish before I got into juicing.

Way I did it, I drank half a cup of warm water with half a lemon in first thing in the morning and drank 2 tablespoons of ginger juice with half a cup of warm water before I went to bed at night. I can swear by it, it cleansed my internal plumbing properly.
Lol..you cut the lemon into half and throw in the water or you squeeze half a lemon juice in water??

Ginger juice?? What's that? Can I buy off the shelf?

Lol!

I'm always on the lookout. That's one reason why I'll never go out running / jogging with ear plugs on, listening to music. I need my wits about me. Most times when I sight those huge German Shepards / Alsatians from a distance, I jejely cross over to the other side of the road oh. Never been bitten by one and I don't intend to get bitten either. cheesy cheesy Come to think of it, there is an absolute nutter with not one or two, but three Great Danes! shocked shocked shocked The first time I saw him and his dogs (without a leash) see as my heart cut. Na so your sister quickly cross to the other side o, before I become a victim of stories that touch.

But funny as it sounds, dogs in general don't worry me, as long as there's a healthy distance between us. My real pet peeves are finding dog shyte littering the pavement. Urgh!!. Cyclists whizzing past at high speed are another wahala. Almost as though they just wanna either ram straight into you, or brush you off onto the side path. Must be the transferred aggression they get from motorists sef. grin grin grin

Anyway, we're all trying to keep fit jor. The park belongs to everyone. Man, dog, cyclists, et al... smiley
grin cheesy grin cheesy grin cheesy grin cheesy

too many funny post today o...so why the heck was I thinking I am the only person who is afraid of dogs in this country?

Day 18 done and 1st day of level 2 done.

This queen 47 is another fitness winch shocked as I was doing my cool down I was thinking to myself so someone did this immediately after the level :o1 my arms are tingling. I enjoyed it though..I actually enjoyed doing the plank jacks but struggled a bit at the walking push ups.
Oh well tomorrow is another day.

I think my scale has mental issues .. or maybe puff puff added 1.5 kg over night angry

Lost 3 inches around the waist though and my work trousers this morning were like harem pants so not going to fixate or get depressed over the scale.

Nice one dear cheesy
you are doing great. But remember it's not all about weight but how you feel inside.

For me too much oil fat gives me phlegm in the morning.
You can also use lime, ginger and warm water for cleansing immediately after eating your shiken and chips
Thanks Chillis. Biko explain this..willing to give it a try

Children are a priceless gift from God and as such should be cared for no matter how tight our schedules are.

Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help me.

Do you have to present your old expired passport to the high commission in London before they will process your new passport? My old Nigeria passport expired since 2008 and the worse is I cant find it anymore but I have a scanned image which I could present.

Any advise will be appreciated guys.

Thanks
I can't remeber this part but you can go through their website. The instructions there are quite detailed, but if you are still not clear, give them a call though they hardly pick.

Wow!!! Congratulations @Kimoni.
Now, you've gotta give your all to maintain this weight.
BTW: That's what have weighed for the past couple of months. Last Saturday, twas 65.5kg.
**grinning childishly***

Thanks James. I think I will try and lose a bit more to give myself a margin of safety. Then maintaining it won't put me under undue pressure.

But I am really glad I didn't have to do anything extreme to drop the excess weight, I hate to lose weight via unsustainable means. Hopefully, by eating, exercising and living "normally", I can maintain the weight. I'll hate to do otherwise.

Lol my baby started trying to sit since she was a lil over 2 months. She sits the way u described it. Infact if I put her in sleeping position in her rocker she sits up on her own. tongue
Mytestimony, I am not sure how to communicate this to you but if possible, stop comparing notes. It can put you under pressure or make you start having unnecessary fears that something is wrong with ur baby when actually, she is doing just fine. But if you must compare, let it just put you in the know of what your baby might start doing very soon. By the time all these our babies get to 3 years or thereabout, they will all be at par and no one will remember who pooed first or who weeweed last.

All babies are different and achieve their milestones at different times.

But seriously, after talking, communicating and discussing this issue severally, and he refuses to change but gets defensive instead, what practical steps should she take? He is a good guy in other areas oo

Options:
Continue to nag him till kingdom come
Report him to his parents
Pack out of the house
Pack his things outer the house
Keep malice with him till he changes
Pidggin:
Lol, I think the second option is the best
Lolllzzzz

You try. You never jam wicked in-law baa

Best thing is to ignore him and quietly move to another toilet/bathroom in the house. At least, that's what I will do. I won't give myself HBP cuz of his wee wee abi na spit. I won't even bother discussing the issue again.
Guilty conscience should set in after that to make him change.

This is serious, I will be throwing up regularly if i lived in your house. Are you aware that as a woman it's easier to contact toilet infection than a man? This isn't fair at all, he needs to change his nasty toilet habits. Please ignore everyone that is being mean to you. If they had to constantly see big shit, flush smelling poo, clean stinking urine and spit, pick wet tissue with mucus and spit mixture, all done by a perfectly healthy person they would be more sympathetic (hugs)

OP, good you have edited the tribal thing out of ya post cuz I don't see where the hasty generalization is coming from. Didn't read the original story but I'm going to agree with all the holes picked in ur first story. You already have a pre-conceived direction for this thread, you just weren't smart about it.
FamilyRe: House Help by Kimoni: 8:17pm On Jul 26, 2015
chival:
[s]Did you read the part where I adviced the original poster to get an elderly nanny if she needs someone to mind her kids?

Your sarcasm will not change the facts. I make bold to say that a lot of women are lazy, period! If you see the amount of work these househelps are saddled with sometimes, you'll weep. These kids are exploited and treated badly and it has to stop. If you can't take care of your own children and bring them up yourself, then don't have them.

I will not consider a live-in domestic help no matter how many children I have[/s] .
Irrelevant points. The fact that you don't use a domestic help does not mean those who do are lazy.

If you can't take care of your own children and bring them up yourself, then don't have them.
Senseless. I must never step out of the house because I have kids? undecided
