mytestimony: I had to go buy liver in kilos. He said he is not too comfortable with my blood level I could do better. I should take fruits. Eat alot of liver. Make sure I dont miss my fessolate.
I don tire with all dis eat this dont eat that abeg. I know someone who ate alot of sand. Wall sef nd she had a healthy beautiful baby. Lollzzzzzzz That's the irony of life. Some people smoke themselves to death and they never get cancer, yet some have never touched a cigarette in their entire life and they get it. Wetin we go talk. Anyways, since he has explained to you but still ask him for more details. It's kinda weird. |

mytestimony: Avoid liver? My doctor specifically said I should eat alot of liver. Na wa o. Whaaaaat ?? Pls try and consult other doctors and let's us read wide (eg online) as much as possible so we can ask doctors valid questions, but again, since he's your doctor maybe he noticed some deficiencies. Will paste links here if I am able to. |

lala4sure: I was advised here though by some mums at uni and i read about it too from the NHS website http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/vitamins-minerals/Pages/Vitamin-A.aspx although not totally avoidance as i posted earlier. However I will ask my midwife next week during my appointment but for now I need to eat what goes down well. Too much of vitamin A is not good and can be harmful to the unborn baby, that's why pregnant women are told to avoid eating liver and some other fortified Vit A food and drugs. I advise you stop the golden mourn or reduce it significantly. |

Dear mamas in the house, just thought I should intimate/remind us that we should always go for BPA free plastics or feeding bottles when buying stuffs for our little ones especially. BPA is the name of a dangerous chemical sometimes used in the manufacturing process of children's bottles and other products. A lot of reputable companies have stopped using it while others have not.
While shoppng for baby things esp feeding bottles, sippy cups, plates, pls ensure they are BPA free. It's always boldly written on the products' labels.
Pls google for more info. God bless. |

jaybee3: Why do you feel the need to throw us under the bus? We reported that one of the reasons for delaying our update was because DJ had to be told/counselled by LCC doctors. What exactly do you think his doctors would have told him? Com'on Jaybee, you can't let everybody and everything get to you. Pls learn to ignore some unwarranted criticisms. It's not easy I know but pls ignore. |

Thanks all. Dear, all things being equal, it is safe to travel at 28 weeks but you are best to really know. Are you up to it? What's ur body telling you? Are you on any form of bed rest or been told to take things easy by the doctor? How comfortable is the vehicle? And how rough or gentle is the driver? |

taryour: @ Originalsly and olu4life,biko you guys should leave tehn alone abeg. What is it with you guys sef Leave them alone and let them do their job. If we entrusted them to take over in the first place is because we trust their judgment.
Free them abeg, its not an easy task they have at hand. If you think its so easy as you type then please by all means ask to join the crew and see how it goes.
You aint the only ones that want good news from all these, but if we all decide to act as you are doing then things would have gone far worse than this.
Enough is enough jare, na wetin!!!
Thumbs up tehn
God bless you Dj. I concur pls |

freecocoa: I don't support this girl one bit but this comment of yours sounds somehow.
You sound like her parents did her a favor by not rejecting her because she's an albino, is she responsible for being an albino? If anything sef, is she not supposed to be the one blaming her parents for combining genes with a trait of albinism?
She deserves some punishment alright, not because she's an ungrateful albino but because she committed a crime. No she is not responsible for being an albino and we can't even hold her parents responsible because they must procreate, at least they are humans ain't they? And recall that the trait does not show in every generation so her parents might not even be albinos. That said, we cannot also run away from reality which is that the society is biased towards albinos and unfortunately this extends to even parents. They have an association in Nigeria, try and listen to the problems they encounter and you will realise why this girl should be grateful she has loving and doting parents. |

@ Napa - I guess it depends mostly on your hubby ie what these parties means to him and how much he is willing to shield you. If it means a lot to him and he will be greatly offended or he is not willing to make excuses for you, I advise you try and make it to these parties but you can cajole him so you guys leave early.
To close knitted families, these gatherings means a lot to everybody and you don't want an issue like this drifting you and hubby apart or making you an enemy of the extended family.
As for the TTC miracle, don't take whatever anyone says to heart. Ppl will always talk, how many places do you wanna avoid?
It is well. |

Shame on you girl! Some albinos had their parents reject them from the word go, yours didn't, now this is how you pay back You truly deserve some punishment. |

pickabeau1: No dj is not the focus We are
On this thread we have been accused of so much and now logistics to move around is now being bandied around.
We are hynoptised We are theives We are impersonating dead people
I am willing to refund the logistics fee Pickabeau, pls calm down. You are accused of something does not mean everybody shares that opinion. Tehn can't afford to lose it now, when DJ is fully recovered, then we can turn this thread to a free for all. But not now! You all need to stay and remain focused. |

pickabeau1: Let the mecca happen People need to be convinced djdola is alive
We have been accused of impersonating him that he is alive to fool you people on NL
Integrity us the name if this game If we cant be trusted to handle your donations what is the point Pick, as much as I empathize with Tehn members and understand you want to absolve yourself, DJ and his welfare still remains the focus. Don't understimate the number of people that will go there. It is not the best for him... Gboliwe pls remove the address and description, mbok. |
Health › Re: RIP DJDOLA- We Will Miss You by Kimoni: 10:20pm On Jan 24, 2015 |
Gboliwe, please delete DJ's house address and description fast. Trust me, the way you left it there, the house will become a Meccca of some sorts and even he will not like it. Let's have some co-ordination as regards the visiting.
In whatever we do or say, let's keep remembering this young man still remains the focus. If he were your brother, will you give up on him?
Food for thought. |
