What is Faith but absence of reason. The existence of god can not be disproved because it has never been proven. We don't need to argue about whether god exists or not. Let believers prove that their respective gods exist by payers. What is the use of a god who claims he can answer prayer and yet believers are surrounded by needs that their omnipotent god cannot provide. Only a fool will believe in any god. Since there are millions of gods, how can we even know which is the right one.

It was his children that spent the most money, but even then, hundreds of billions of libyan money was frozen overseas. Alot of this was money Ghaddafi had invested in other countries, companies, and industries for the Libyan people. Maybe they didnt produce and export much, but they invested alot in other places.

Like all things Nigerian we tend to overdo. Most of you are no different from the overzealous 'religious' people out there. At least, Oyibo would use his atheism to better the life of his people, where is the freaking Nigerian atheist breakthrough? The way they rant about science you would think in the next 2 yrs a breakthrough in science would stem from Nigeria.   Most of which don't even have an idea what science is all about, roftlmao. As usual our own is to rant away, blaming religion. As if the same Oyibos don't practice religion. One of my professors is even a Presbyterian with a very impressive resume in his field of science. I can actually be religious and impact my generation. Not changing it for anybody. These are the kind of people I look up to, not the razz style of Nigerians be it religious or atheistic.

Personally,i respect Atheists,and not wanna-bes,and even when i respect Atheists,i don't because of their beliefs cuz they don't have any,

i do cuz i have hundreds of them as my pals and funnily,most of them are not hardcore. They are just freethinkers who want to look different.

About 5 or 6 of them are African,and 1 is a Nigerian. The guy often tells he became an Atheist cuz he was sick of having to obey the 10

commandments but he knows himself as a stupid fellow. But i agree though,that Nigerians tend to "over-do" things,cuz

sometimes you wonder if any of the ones on NL has ever won a nobel prize in evolution theories before. Even Darwin himself would be

impressed if he could come to life again.
