Keep throwing him in our faces everyday, it won't change a thing. We remain obedient |
greatalexander:Thanks for the correction. I really don't know much about the tourist visas too but I'll believe she will get a response. |
Yonniedoll:You'll receive a DUF number once your application is being processed. The response time usually varies but rest assured, they'll get back to you. |
greatalexander:Applied 20th June at VFS, got DUF by July 15th |
greatalexander:Yes, back in July |
Bello Turji, Go on hither, thy sins have made thee whole. |
Enddy50ty:How can the battery health of a new phone be 87%. This means the phone condition isn't open box but Placed in open box simple. |
Kingdemu:I beg your pardon What part of the north do you stay? Those guys are NO.TO.RIOUS. All the way from Kaduna, Abuja, Minna down to Nasarawa. It gets worse towards Kogi. Once you're stopped, your papers can never be complete. It either one emblem, sticker or receipt is missing and you will be billed 15k and above on the spot. Bunch of gworo chewing good for nothing touts. I dodge them when I can and if not, we'll get down and exchange madness. |
Is the press under obligation to disclose their sources? No! So the NPF resorts to intimidation. I believe that case has Buratai neck deep in it but it was covered up and disguised promptly. Now, they want to Defamation of character my |
SpeedRacer:Wow, that's a new one |
There's something that discourages me about car restorations in Nigeria: The interior. Isn't it possible to source the stock seats and door cards? I dislike these red diamond stitch leather works our guys do. It's like they all source materials and design from the same place. Flip side: this Mini will look really cool with some coilovers, offset alloy wheels and badass fat tyres. |
Dear Thurmieee, I empathize with you on all the stress you went and are going through...and note that it's not important for a thread to hut the front page before you get reasonable answers. This type of case is quite familiar to me and has lots to do with corporate bureaucracy. The upper management are well aware of what is going on so don't think your victim card mails will lead them to sympathize with you. Infact, they are the ones egging the Area manager on. He won't push the case this far with his own money. The objective here is the company wants their money back and will frustrate all parties involved till something breaks. They are unconcerned as #2m is a small fry to them but will rather use you as an example to others by bugging your life with court and police cases. Don't fret though, the whole process will die a natural death. Just ready your mind for the long haul, na dem go tire. The manager will also get tired of attending court cases every fortnight. Your lawyer can also seek the prayer of the court to give later adjournment cases, transfer case to a court closer to your new residence, insecurities in travelling down to Sokoto, health conditions etc You will smile at last court and police who will lean on you for a long time |
Abilistic:I think he's talking about screen burn which is unfortunately permanent |
If anything, I love the way people are standing up for him |
mrsage:Thanks for tackling the questions comprehensively and one after the other. It's quite some valuable information. Following |
Thanks mrsage. I'd like to ask. 1. Isn't it better to test run a property for say a year before commiting fully to a long term lease. 2. Do you put macro economic factors into consideration for an area as well like if the area has the potential to appreciate in value in the near future. 3. How do you handle neighbors who see different faces every other day in the apartment. 4. If folks in diaspora coming on vacation are the major demand makers, won't that affect the frequency of patronage and cash flow of the business? 5. Is it better to float and market your apartment on your own or advertise through AirBnb and other platforms. Thanks |
BluntCrazeMan:Many of the hyper cars today don't have AC and the value of these rides is having something only a few select people also have. |
One Nairalander like that would have put a #2m price tag on this vehicle under the guise of vintage/classic. |
Aminu well done |
Goodman247:Who accepts rotten apples? The cankerworms in power have eaten deep into this country and desecrated it. |
All na wash. Trying to draw sympathy as if he's not their grand patron. |
OlawaleBammie:Modified for completeness. ![]() Op should even relay a stern warning backed up with nuanced threats of violence if such stupidity should ever repeat itself. Too bad, couples now take themselves as friends and equals in stark contrast to how our fathers built their homes. Who give monkey banana? Dem born you to feel free in the sitting room with daddy, seve food without tray or object when daddy is talking? How did we get here? Op, it's time to start restructuring your marriage and position in your home or watch your respect that's supposed to hold your family together come undone. Can you call yourself a patriarch like this? Smh My strong belief is she's met with the idiot, some yawa done gas and she's trying to build a strong alibi. Block this strategy with all your brain. Peace |
And some people still want the continuation of this party in 2023? Disappointing |
Is this true?
|
Itsrm:In your mind is supply driving demand or the other way around? |
Ndibuna:Follow Mokwa - Bida- Minna to Abuja route and you'll swallow your words. Per an hour trip I come across at least 20 salvage vehicles heading towards Abuja any day of the week. Customs are flexing that route like crazy. There's never been so much money in circulation like now, it's the allocation that's largely skewed. |
Pactviva:Thanks. I've been trying to make the payment online to no avail. I guess it's due to the spending limit on Nigerian debit cards. I read somewhere it can be paid at VFS on appointment day. Been trying their lines but it's been busy. Will try again tomorrow. Any other payment suggestions besides the barter app suggested above? Modified Gone the barter route and it was a breeze, awaiting my appointment at VFS. Thanks to Samuel807 |
Can Visa fees be paid at the Vfs office during the appointment? |
Stephen0mozzy:Wrong way to evaluate a business. Okada: Start making money on Day 1 but has vagaries. Occupational hazards, touts and immense competition but you are always flexible with working times and locations. Good if you're a field person. Phone repair: Takes time to develop and business revenue is not a daily constant except you're located at a phone sales and repair hub. Less risk and opportunities for expansion through vertical and horizontal integration. Drawbacks include less flexible locations, competition depending on location and really leans on your technical skills. Pick your poison. |
Interesting. A speed loader was even included for quick refill. Indigenes betraying their brothers. Shame |
This is an obtuse opinion IMO. Do you really think internet crimes reduced robberies. What do you have to say about the higher rates of rituals and killings brought on by Yahoo plus boys insatiable craze for money. FYI, Crime rate is on the rise, the robbers simply switched tactics. Cashless/electronic economy means people don't stash cash at home no more which was the main cause of home burglaries. Now, theives have switched to mugging, stealing expensive phones, one-chance etc and now improving on how to wipe people's accounts/ virtual cash. Without Yahoo, Nigerians will have more credibility abroad today and believe in patient legit work for rewards and not getting rich off innocent people's sweat. |
