Vodooo is not to transform BEnin or Africa. Vodooo is to tranform oneself and to attain inner spirituality. BEnin was a Great Empire uring Vodoo days, but now colonialism, christianity , etc., have transformed it in a bad way. .
....and when the "oneself and spirituality" is transformed (to a higher level l believe?), the next question that arises is: TO WHAT BENEFIT?

This is where this grave-robber Religion fails woefully!
'
All the Albert Einsteins and Isaac Newtons + Faradays of this world (whether as Rosicrucians, Priory, Saints Templar, e.t.c) used their own "Voodoo" to better mankind. They contributed immensely to the development of knowledge, better understanding and improved standard of life for men and you.

Any "religion or practice" that does not lead to the attainment of a better mankind is useless and should be trashed.

^^^^^^You're correct madam. My apologies.
The poor child is the looser in all these drama.

But, to be "realistic and truly objective", l try to weigh in-between "The TWO EVILS".

On one hand: This is a child, a living being, being subjected to this kind of trauma in early life. In this day of "Cloud Storage", l hope that child does not go to college one day and his class mates pull out this story and embarrass him from then! I know abortion is not to be advocated.

On the second hand: If you have sex with someone and it resulted in an "unwanted pregnancy", at that early stage (four to six weeks when you miss your cycle), the pregnancy is still and just a "blob of blood"!

At that stage, it is yet to "form a baby or a living entity" (No heart yet, no body parts yet, no heart beat yet, just a "congealed mass of blood").

I think it is better to get rid of "that things" at that stage, that to sentence another human being to a life of misery, LATER!
.

Both are bad and not ideal but the second option is what l call the "lesser of two evils"
.
Just look at the comedy she is turning that child into?

Anyway sha, Just my own opinion. wink wink

Christianity Etc › Re: Man Sues Chris Okotie For Owing Him 14 Years Salary by lastpage:
Theemperor: I am not a big fan of Pastors, but in this case, this is just an unserious adult who puts his frustration on the Pastor. The guy is 42years old (not 40) and he is very unserious with his life. He dropped out of Delta State University where he was studying music. He lacks total discipline and even the bulk of his family members do not take him serious.he is not married and do not make any significant value to family issues.
On this particular case, he is just being ungrateful.I know that Chris Okotie did lot for this young man. Okiotor has quarrelled with everybody. Ask him why his rich brother(Abel) did not help him.He picked up a quarrel with his brother on a similar issue, and it took family to call him to caution,He also had quarrels with his brother,s wife Ote, cos he expected so much from them. His mates have all surpassed him, now he is frustrated.
I do not attend ChrisOkotie,s church neither do i live in lagos, but i can tell you i know this guy from his days at Ughelli.
Tell me, who works for 14 years without pay? Lets think about that for a min. this guy is a complete joke, who is looking for who to put his failure on.He goes by the name DAFPH DAF on facebook. If you go to his wall, you can find a tread of how childish , disrespectful and immature he is.
Even Atiku went back to apologise to Obasanjo, not to mention of this case.
I like this your "contribution". It is obvious you know this guy like the back of your hand!
Now, you have raised a lot of issues that l will attend to, in "short bursts" because l dont want to dwell too much on them.

1.) You attacked his personality:
a.) as "unserious": As an artist, he practiced his specialization, to the benefit of the church for 14yrs and you still thin he is unserious?

b.) unmarried at 42: So, being married is now a yardstick for success? Dont let me start mentioning names.

c.) dropped out of school: from Steve Job (APPLE FOUNDER) to Bill Gates (Microsoft founder), all drop-outs! wink wink Dropping out of school is not a curse, it is "what and why" you dropped out that matters.

d.) Ungrateful: From reneging on promises made to him, to outright deceit in using his brothers name as the Tenant for the rented apartment, Okotie duped this man for 14years! What is there to be grateful for? Pls tell us.

e.) Quarrelsome (with brother & wife, Pastor, e.t.c): So because his Brother Abel is not throwing money around on his or because they "disagree" on issues, that makes him quarrelsome? Do you get it at all?
Think; Gifted people are usually "eccentric" and dont always "flow with the crowd". Albert Einstein is an example, Fela Anikulapo Kuti is another and thousands more!

f.) His mates have surpassed him: How will his mates not surpass him when people like Okotie are taking advantage of him and trying to use his talent for free. Let his 39Million be paid to him and let us see whether he will not surpass those mates! wink

g.) Stupid; (for working for 14 years without pay!
): Well, he is stewpid but Okotie deserves to go to jail for this inhuman treatment. Let him try this in Western countries where they appreciate "human effort and services", if he would not end in jail. Even people who took "house-girls" abroad and used them like they do in Nigeria, without paying them, end up in jail. Do a little research on this.

h.) His Facebook page is childish": Everyone has the right to populate their FaceBook page as they deem fit. What is childish to you might even be "artistic" to others so quit being judgmental unnecessarily.

i.) He should "apologize" to his tormentor, like Atiku!
: This finally shows the kind of person and the type of "beggarly" mentality you have. You must be a desperate person by nature otherwise you would know that it is demeaning to be cheated and to be expected to "prostrate" to get what rightly belongs to you. And you egoistic Pastors too would feel "fulfilled" that they are Lording it over another "small person", right? That was how Jesus was behaving while on earth, right?

Okay, l've heard it said that "Religion is the opium (plant from which cocaine hard drug is sourced!) of the people, give them 'religion' and they would be as senseless and stewpid as someone on hard drugs"!

From the account given even by church members, it is clear that this man was "in service" of the church and there was no "written agreement on terms of service".

Dont invoke God in this matter, its purely between two people, with one using his position to chance the other!
He did not work for God because God did not have any "discussion" with him, it was Okotie that engaged him. Period.

*Okotie was a "musician" like this man, and he got royalties from his records. WHY NOT THIS MAN?

*Okotie was/is a "church worker" like this man.. and he reaps his own rewards here on earth, from the church, judging by his flamboyant lifestyle. WHY NOT THIS MAN?

Okotie lives lavish on the church, using his "selling skills', WHY NOT THIS MAN?

Until we enact a law which puts this pimps and con-men cum Pastors in jail for first-degree fraud (and gullible followers like you to, for failing to use your God-given brain to reason)...until then, this con-men will think they far too smart than they really are.

America, Europe, Asia and the far East are not as religious as Nigeria(ns), yet look at the quality of lifestyle that their govt give their people, look at the life they live....

If our "Religion and the way we practice it" is truly acceptable to God, we would have been far more blessed than these people/countries but like God said in his Bible, "What is the sound of all these bleating of Goats and Cows, that l hear"?
He is not interested in the in the "money we contribute' in church, that is siphoned-off by the con-men and pimps on the pulpit!
God is interested ONLY in our HEART AND SOULS!
That is where these other prosperous nations have beaten us pants-down, despite all our Noise and singing and Tithe!
You cannot be doing evil...and expect the grace of God to abound.
Even those that dont believe in God, do more Good that we that sleep and wake in church, we that foolishly believe we can BRIBE GOD with our money or think that "Hold God to ransom or blackmail him with Tithes".

Let Okotie pay this man for his WORK to his church/ business empire.
Like the Bible says, "Do not suffer a workman, his wages"! Or which Bible does Okotie and these "pimping pastors" preach from?

Whats the problem with these "flowers" thingy sef?

I know the "Westerners" like to give their ladies flowers, as a sign of being romantic but....WHY?
Why does flower signify romance?

I suspect that because flowers dont grow readily in Oyinbo land (except if planted and cultivated, due to their horrible weather) and due to its "scarcity", it has assumed some "PRECIOUS" status? So, their women appreciates it.

Now, lets come back to Naija, the last time l tried to "impress" Iya Sikira with flowers (being a full blooded 'romance guys' myself! grin ), she asked me if l had "bought Christmas goat very early this year", since it is still February, Valentine's day! shocked shocked

I was puzzled but did not take offense!

I asked Iya Sikira why she did not appreciate such "romantic gesture"?

Iya Sikira: Look all around you, all these flowers are growing all by themselves, nobody planted them! So you went to "waste" money to buy something l use 'effort' to clear away from the compound?

Me: I was just trying to be romantic naah! Okay, what do you think l should have given you as a gesture then?

Iya Sikira: How about show real romance by taking me on Holidays to Belize, just for the weekend? How about a nice Diamond-studded necklace? How about changing my phone to the iphone-5 or SS3? How did you miss all those ones?

Me: Emmmm...those things cost an arm and a leg, "romantic gestures" are supposed to be cheap things (like flowers) but its the meaning behind them that really counts. Your mates in other "geographical locations" appreciates flowers so much and they understand its "romantic value"!

Iya Sikira: So, you are now saying l am not only an Ewu-Goat, l am also cheap? Okay, it's about "location right"? I guess those women in those location would not really care about a weekend Holiday in their own backyard (like Paris!) but we over here, we do! They value flowers, we dont! They dont value iphone or a tantalizing plate of Isi-ewu Pepper soup as being romantic, but we do!

Me: I thought about these things for a while.
She is actually right! We cant "import" romanticism from one place to another because what trips a woman in one place, depends on the value they attach to it, in that place!

Next time, Iya Sikira, l will show you how romantic l am, one big plate of Pepper Soup for you, to go along with a shiny iphone 5 and weekend holiday to boot! kiss kiss kiss

Iya Sikira: Thats why l love our Naija men, them sabi wetin gwan, too much sef! wink wink

Hmmm......okay now!

Everybody calm the fúck down!
Warning!

As with all vaccines, this vaccine may not provide protection against HPV in everyone who has the vaccine. In addition it will not protect against all types of HPV.
It will also not protect against any other sexually-transmitted infections (STIs). This means that after having the vaccine you should still practice safe sex and use condoms to prevent STIs.
This vaccine should not be used as an alternative to having regular cervical smear tests. This is because no vaccine is 100 per cent effective and this vaccine will not provide protection against all types of HPV. It also won't protect you from any cancerous changes that may be caused by an HPV infection you may already have without knowing. It is important to keep having regular smear tests.
People who have an underactive immune system, for example due to a genetic defect, disease such as HIV infection, or treatment with medicines that suppress the immune system, such as chemotherapy, high-dose corticosteroids, or immunosuppressants, eg used following an organ transplant, may not produce an adequate number of antibodies in response to this vaccine. The important phrase in that publication is "AVERAGE LIFE EXPECTANCY".

"Average"
means out of x-number of Nigerians, your Grand Ma that lived to be hundred years (and others like her).... added to those millions of Nigerians that die under thirty years, divided by "x', the total number under consideration.

Average = (x1 + x2 + x3)/ 3

Thus, that your Granny lived to be 103 or that your niece dies at 20yrs, does not invalidate the publication.

Your partner's desire to be trained isn't shared by most men, thank goodness. Unfortunately most women can be manipulated into a false sense of empowerment. You offer the perfect example of women believing they have the upper hand in romantic relationships when they really don't. Your attitude is more confrontational than mine, I just wrote something you didn't like. You kinda went off on the deep end. Go figure.
You dont get it at all, ... do you?
You are the one that used the phrase "train a Dog" in your response to my post.
So, it was you who equated your own man to "A DOG"!
Here is your quote, in your own words, below:
That's manipulation and pretty much makes men look like idiots. Men are complex and diverse, you train a dog not a man.

What you cant understand ...and l cant blame you for this, maybe you will, in some decades to come ... is that "Every woman has to learn to "UNDERSTAND HER MAN" in a way that guarantees the happiness and stability of her family.

That is what you erroneously and ignorantly term "training a Dog!"

Well, each man to its own tenth...... as far as l am concerned, "Happiness and Stability within the marriage," should be the goal of every spouse .... not some "over-sabi, ignorant rants"!

nnedozie22: Circumcision can be done without cutting with the use of "PLASTIC BELL" that is attached to the phimosis which falls off after sometime. There is no risk of bleeding or infection.
One of my sons also used this method to get circumcised.
The plastic ring actually "strangulates" the foreskin and deprives it of 'blood and nutrients'.... it the end, it dies and falls-off like scab.

Seems safe and hygienic to me..... l think it should be promoted and awareness created on such method.

The "Knife and Cutlass" method seems scary and brutal! grin grin

You are truly a dolt!

I am a "man", if you are smart enough, you would have deduced that from my post.

Again, the "give birth" story was true and it was for "someone" whose identity my wife wanted to keep private.

Having said that, you're still a "small boy" forming beyond your level.

Its obvious you are not educated (or at best, poorly educated), all your post ooze that 'dangerous mentality' of ill-educated folks.

My grouse with your type is that being "under-achievers", you try to depress others to come down to your level.
A Graduate in a Bank earns far above #70K monthly. That is a FACT.

if you think you're not worth more than that, then continue to squat on "Social Welfare" in your dinghy one room.
Otherwise, relocate and come and come and drive the BMW TRUCK grin grin
Its better than being a liability to the British Government ...and that woman you "arrangee" to marry.

Nothing do you, Nna.

Every year, one silly President and his clueless Assembly men will come up with one "magic number" (but they ensure it is far enough for them to have looted the country and retire is opulence! wink ) ...and tell us that "Nigeria will turn to NewYork" in that year!

We have seen it before, over and over again.

Perform now or get hanged!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Everton Vs Arsenal (1 - 1) On 28th November 2012 by lastpage: 4:03am On Nov 29, 2012
kennyblac: Arsenal always have a way of playing merseyside clubs (Liverpool and Everton) which usually ended in favour of d Gunners.. No matter how best or perfect τ̲̅ђey dominate, Arsenal always have τ̲̅ђe points. Arsenal is τ̲̅ђe only Team to have beaten Everton their worst ever defeat in τ̲̅ђe top flight football... 7-1 at Highbury and 6-1 at Goodison park... Todays match will be τ̲̅ђe match of τ̲̅ђe week, Battle of τ̲̅ђe 4th spot.
Now you know that this particular "Ar.se-Nal" is finished! wink wink

This is what you get when you keep selling your best players (GREED) every season.

I am a "Gunner" BTW.
