My cousin even bought a land in close to lagoon in Lagos last year for 700k.

I bought "1 and a bit above half" plots of land in my village in Asaba, Delta for 1.350k million.

A dude I know in Umuahia, Abia bought 2 plots in a marshy/swampy area for 300k each.

Another also bought 3 plots in Nsukka for 1.3, 1.5, 1.5 million each.

Cheap land still dey. You can't tell me your village is bigger than all these places aforementioned.

They were nailed because evidence and case files were preserved based on prior investigation. Unless there's a verified witness.

Bill Cosby has been let off the hook severally using this technicality. Those women came out years later to accuse of rape without hard evidence. He was only jailed because the complaints became much and there was pressure for the system to make an example of him. Even at that, he served a minimal sentence.

Same applies to R Kelly... They have case similarities.
It took lots of intervention and public outcry before R Kelly's case became serious. Even at that he pleaded not guilty. His sentencing is gonna be max 10 years, of which with good behavior he can serve 4 to 5 years.

CR7 was accused of rape but the girl failed to prove it and was counter-sued, she was ordered to pay Ronaldo a sum.

Show me any anyone that has been accused of rape that occurred years ago and found guilty without prior investigation. It only dents their image and reputation that's why lots of them opt for out of court settlement to avoid lingering and also so as to focus on their career.

Issues related to campaign finance are not misdemeanors. ok. Also, his indictment is sealed by the trial judge, meaning that speculation will continue until the trial begins on Dec 4th. It’s not up to Democrats to decide or wonder about anything. I am a registered independent and care less about what democrats or republicans think or want. Trump paid off Stormy Daniels from his campaign coffers and tried to cover that. That's not a misdemeanor, alright.

Nothing is gonna turn better in trumps favor. Go and write it down somewhere. He has damaged himself to the point of no return because he will never be the nominee of the republican party, especially when his trial starts on December 4th.

The radical DA tried to tie it to campaign finance mishandling which would have made it a federal offense and not a state one but the department of Justice thought it lacked merit and didn't take it.

Bros, Trump had no choice but to submit to authorities. He's even lucky there was no mug shot and he was not handcuffed. I have lived here for over 2 decades and I can tell you more on how the system works. The law will catch up with many Nigerian politicians and that's why they don't want people like Peter Obi, Sanusi, Ahmed Datti and others to lead our Country.

He's not lucky. The case is not a serious one. Nobody gets mugshot for a mere misdemeanor and him being an Ex-president also applies.

Even lots of democrats are wondering why the DA even had to make this a case given that he had more serious ones ahead.

If at all there were to be conviction, max is ust just a fine and he's even a first time offender.

Federal Department of justice refused to make it a case but the DA proceeded only to pander to his radical far left base.

I'm not Trump fan but many people don't know the separation of power between the the state and fed.

I saw a news today that Trump popularity and approval has increased in the polls ...what an irony... It's just his own playbook to surrender, believe me. It's gonna turn better in his favor.

Trumps case is a state charge. He's only using it for political gains.
He willingly submitted to the law. It'll draw sympathy to him as he gets the nomination and probably wins the general. He's case would be dismissed or reversed by the Supreme Court, it's just a misdemeanor.
Besides, America is a working system, Wike would be protected by the government and nothing happens.
