MMempire: I believe your brother will probably need P.T.A (personal travel allowance) and not B.T.A (business travel allowance). Still still, he will definitely need to have it with him. Not as debit or credit card, but physical cash (foreign hard currency). Best of luck to your brother with his journey. But, isnt BTA also sometimes referred to as Basic travel allowance which is same thing as PTA.? |

NezzyMike: Are you answering me with a question? I want to confirm the authenticity. Wasn't answering. Rather asked a question. Like another op has said, that would be up to the policy makers to decide if demands and supply has been met. No policy/backbenchers here. How you confirm the authenticity of the info is on you at this time. If you want to go through that route and qualified, sieze on the opportunity whilst it last and leave fear of the unknown to those focusing on that. |

Aragbs4real: The truth is, no additional tip is needed to be paid depending on individual circumstances. However if you need it urgently/ same day then you need to tip. Hence you need to wait for about 3weeks to a month to get it without tipping anyone. I hope that helps. With due respect not entirely true. You don't need any plug to get through the whole process within 72hrs. |

I have all the requirements, I have the relevant experience, I have done the important courses, I still go to volunteer in the hospital I did my training just to be up to date. I apply everywhere, NHS, Indeed, Glass door, Totaljobs, Reed, LinkedIn, the list of sponsors on gov.uk and other sites I can't even remember, but I am yet to get any positive feedback except interview invites for people already in the UK. Please is there anything others are doing differently? Tenacity!! Keep applying. Regularly updating your profile/cv. |

ayrton03: Any idea on how to change from tier4 visa to tier2? agency or company that can help? Either way to do this, you would have to secure a job with an agency/company or whatever that is willing to issue you an undefined COS, and from there you can take things up with your application and the HO. Do a good cv, apply to places that suit your profile. Similarly if you are currently working whilst studying inquire of the HR if they offer jobs and can support you with a cos. |

AHUPEACE: Good morning my people I need to know if Cambridge exam is for those applying for spouse visa. Is iELTS the same as Cambridge exam?? If they aren’t the same so which is best for spousal visa application? Cambridge is one of the official bodies that conducts IELTS. Similarly Cambridge offers English test where you could use for migrational purposes. Which is best, depends on you, which you are able to achieve the required grade for your visa category. |

I'd appreciate candid and realistic opinions. Thank you. 1.She needs to get a job.(I.e get a defined COS if she is not in the UK) 2. Sequel to success number 1, you and the girl qualify to join her as dependant. 3. No. 2 gives birth to number 3. Meet the UK home office skilled worker visa requirements to apply for a work permit.. Cost varies, in some cases it could come at no cost and in some cases with cost. Moregoody: Please advise me, which is better? The PTE OR THE IELTS general UKVI Either is good and accepted by the UK Home office as would be applicable to your migration requirements. What makes one better sometimes is down to individuals and other factors. Just do a bit research on both and weigh your abilities and capabilities as to which you would score the required marks or grades needed in each section of the test. |

Please what should I do as am presently in Nigeria. Send them your Nigerian number, and state you are not present in the country. It is what it is. What is meant to be would be, one of the firms may just proceed with establishing the chats and non may, at the end of it, you would need to keep putting out applications until you get one that suits you.. |

JPB2: Please if you are goin for CARER route, I do advice you go for IELTS UKVI GENERAL don't go on Any assumption spree
NURSES AND Doctors have an association that have made them accept any other results
But Carer route is specifically IELTS GENERAL UKVI or NARIC
No go collect woto woto for Embassy it's them that do the denials not the office offering u employment What woto woto for embassy or assumption spree? Why would the embassy deny you if you achieved the right English % and as required and the right category of exams (i.e the general/academy or UKVI)? PTE exams is recognised and accepted by the UK home office for migration and study purposes. To include (Canada, Australia, USA, and other English speaking countries accepts it where necessary). There's no woto woto or assumption. |

Ibkpeace01: Thanks for this info God bless you which one will you advice out of the two (IELTS UKVI and PTE UKVI) Well both exams I would say have same degree in terms of difficulty and you would need a bit of studying on how to unlock a passing strategy to either of the exams. But if you short with time and need an English test to proof your eligibility to proceed with your application you may wish to seriously consider the PTE academic UKVI or her PTE general as would be applicable. You only need to score 43/44% in each of the sections for UK health care work visa(speaking, listening, writing and reading), % requirements for other visa and migration categories may vary. Your results are sent to you electronically-(email), as well they send to any body you indicate during your exams registration (i.e UK Home office, Universities or other migration border agencies you would have indicated during registration of your exams. Ps. PTE is solely computer based, even the speaking sections of the exams. |

Bryanbella: Please house I need your advice. Which is preferable? IELTS computer based or paper based? For what? If for migration purposes go for IELTS UKVI. And also you may wish to try PTE UKVI(though this is only computer based) results are ready from 24hrs after taking the test and dates easily available, it is a few thousands cheaper than IELTS and accepted for Health care work visa. For plab and nursing exams IELTS and OET should be your choice. |

Cristiano12: Hello with this your 2yrs standard visitor visa will u be able to use am to work there? And if no. How do u cope there in terms of to make money and sustaining…
Pls kindly reply . Will appreciate that.. cause am also trying the Uk process and I need link up from there cause I don’t know anyone there. And I don’t want to go there and find no place to stay. Though I know one person but I don’t want to depend on him much… any link up from you will be appreciated pls. You can not work with a 2years standard visitor visa and you are only allowed to stay a maximum of 180days (6months),I.e is if you stay beyond 6months in a single visit without existing the UK and her borders you are abusing the 2years visa. If you want to move to the UK to work, explore the appropriate means, secure a job, you don't need anyone there to do this nor have any reason to worry of being stranded. |
