Just to help anyone out there not doing it yet, please always file for compensation/refunds whenever you've receive sh#tty service in this country. I've done it a couple of times and it's been successful.

For example, Virgin Atlantic delayed my flight from Nigeria to London...over 5hrs delay, I got over £500. Megabus delayed my trip for 4 hours (bus broke down and no replacement, we were stranded in middle of the night), I got the ticket value refunded.

Train was delayed (regular occurrence nowadays)...I got a partial refund.
Basically, I'd rather have an efficient service, however when they choose to mess up, it is great to have this as a fall back option is very rewarding...just thought to share.

PS - Just wish one can sue some Govt Agencies[b][/b] sha. Home office, NHS and co. will go bankrupt lol

Just got off a call with a government agency and I'm so mad.

UK is very sh#t atm. Not sure it's worth it at this point in time vs 10yrs ago for example. Why?

Home office - massive delays. Simple Visa is taking 3 months plus after paying thousands of pounds.

Housing - almost impossible to get even though you have your cash (not to mention rate is exorbitantly high). You will go for viewing and agent/landlord will start making you fill application form like say na job interview.

Driving Licence - Impossible to book test date. Everything is months in advance, before you start using those apps to bring within 2 to 3 months. Why so stressful?

Health care - to get GP appointment na war. Someone will be filling unwell and GP receptionist will say can you come in two months time? Not to talk of more serious issues like surgeries etc. That wait is years!

In summary,
Taxes high, rent stupidly high, energy bills crazy, Govt services not available. I swear this country is frustrating!!!! This is not a first world experience at all. Others should steer clear.

If you have been debited, visit the police zonal Station you wish to do biometrics, go to the unit that does it. They can easily facilitate your payment for approval and have you do biometrics on spot.

Please can I do Pearson ukvi instead of ielts ukvi and do I need to wait for my English test result before I start applying for jobs.

English proficiency is required for visa application, as such you canapply for jobs whilst you are yet to have one.
You can go for Pearson(PTE ukvi) however check to be sure which of the pearson ukvi is required for the job field you would be going for.

Sometimes they do multiple stopovers. In such cases the flight tickets maybe be lesser in price with longer layovers at different countries and continents with the same or with a different carrier

The other applicant is yet to attend biometric and do submission of documents. In fact 20 days until this happens.
If indeed the applicant missed out declaring past refusal(especially one issued by a UK consulate) , right thing to do at this time should be cancellation of the application and filling out the application again.

Person went i was carer for my granddad, i this in church, I this in Mosque, I this in shrine.
Like why spoil my day when you can not even defend career objectives you must have written on your CV and cover letter.
