Nope.... Not crazy, just largely deprived of animal protein (Only few families can afford large portions of beef, fish, chicken, turkey, etc).

Standard of living among most Nigerians is laughable and pathetic.
No be who don chop dey belleful dey think of meat/fish? Even the basic of staple food is becoming elusive to most Nigerians. I weep for my people.

I hope you move.... However, one thing in Nigeria that gulp most parents income is school fees, and guess what, in most developed countries it's and of high quality.

In my humble opinion,If you earn anything below 250k a month, you have no business bringing a child to this world. No if's and no buts!

This is a terrible advice! Op kindly disregard this at it will lead you to depression and regrets. For a start, Turkey is facing upheavals at the moment, the economy has been in turbulence since 2018 - unemployment is double digits, inflation is throug the roofs. Greek authorities are tightening their border with Turkey, same with other European countries. Even if he manages to reach Germany, their are no guarrantees his refuge/assylum seeker status would be approved, he is likely to be rejected.

There are broadband companies and Mobile carriers.

At&t and verizon are the monopoly in the mobile carrier space.

What i wrote about was broadband.
The thread was talking about mobile data subscription not broadband . Besides, these companies also offer both services.

Please o, what exactly is the colour of you guys problems?? Someone successfully adopted a child legally to give her a good life, he did not steal or kidnap her. So what's the problem? undecided
Chilax lady! Did you notice in another thread where this guy is boasting he earns in $$? His ways are dubius. Let him come clean else no one will take him seriously. Not even in the US young people adopt kids(op was 25 when he made the move), it's odd and questionable. Do you even know the cost of succesfully raising a child and giving that child a memorable childhood? Even people in rich people countries think twice about this before making the move. Think about this. Being gullibe leads to regrets!

There are 7 companies that control broadband in america, Comcast, Charter, AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Frontier, and Windstream

Comcast and Charter control the market, so you are at their mercy in terms of price
hold on bros! Who fed you these lies? Just so you know, AT%T dominate the US market share by far with more than 44%, then followed by Verizon and T-mobile lagging behind. That talk of monopoly is absurd - is akin to saying MTN monopolise the market here which is untrue.

But this your analysis is RUBBISH.

What has purchasing power got to do with internet data.

That same data showed that India had the cheapest data because of lot of competitors. Is the purchasing power of india more than the United states

The cost of data is expensive in the United states because of monopoly not because of purchasing power
How is Data price monopolise in the USA?

Things aren't actually expensive in Nigeria compared to other advanced countries. It is the purchasing power that differs.

There are people in Nigeria who earn over $10k dollars a month. If such people travel out of Nigeria to the USA,he will come back to tell you that cost of living in Nigeria is way too cheaper compared to the US.

I will rather earn $1k a month in Nigeria, than to earn $3k-$5k in America
These people earning $10k a month, how many they sef? A generous estimate would be 0.01%. Just so you know nearly half of Nigerian workers earn less than the minimum wage.
Phones › Re: Cost Of Data In Nigeria Is Very High. Not Cheap by Limassol(m): 3:01pm On Sep 09, 2021
Very high but not the highest in the world. Data in Nigeria is expensive with the cheapest being 1GB= 200. In India a telcom called Jio gives around 100GB for $10.

yeah right but I did it , though it wasn't easy
Sometimes though the orphanage pays us a visit to check up on her and they can testify that she is doing great.

Put her in the best school I can find in my state, the school that she attends is also being attented by children and relatives of politicians in my state of residence , trust me she is living the life of a princess cheesy

The orphanage are now the ones telling me to adopt more but I am like nah for now maybe later in the future

So no stress grin
it is not all rosy as you are trying hard to portray here. You story is very odd to say the least - a 25yr old adopting a female child promts lots of questions. Or is this some cock and bull crap?

What baffles me is most Nigerians do not see scamming and looting as any offence, but as being smart. This worries me so much. But when the scammers become victims, they go to any length even as far as assassinating those who scammed them. This worries me sp much. Really, I dont see any hope in this present generation. Only God and urgent attention and continuous education, most esp providing jobs for youths can fix this situation.
It has nothing to do with this generation, the rot has been there a while since the 80s

@bolded - what do u call Nigerian drug dealing and sex trafficking in SA? Is it not disrespectful and audacious?

Regarding us being banned, that would show you are not up to being challenged for posting ridiculous and offensive statements about black South Africans (and never whites). If u gonna post controversial things expect a backlash dude, no one is gonna sit on their hands while they are being bashed. Have a thicker skin.
what you call "controversial things" are factual facts and figures sourced from reputable sources which obviously you and your compatriot find very uncomfortable and disturbing, typical nationalism. Whats more, Reality dose'nt care about your emotions. And also, do you know how many accounts are suspended on Twitter and Facebook monthly on average due to toxic behaviour? It has nothing to do with thick-skin or whatever but more to do with common sense. The distinction is abundantly clear.

Let me be clear about this; if any of you lots detest Nigerians this much, then i suggest you deactivate your accounts and never visit this forum ever, and i promise you no one is gonna miss you,in fact, good riddance! That you lots unabashedly disparage and denigrate Nigerians at will on this forum time and time again without any iota of remorse shows the kind of people you lots are in reallife,it truly reflect your personalities.Nonetheless, i still belive most South Africans are good People, and trouble makers like you lots are an inconsequential tiny minority, every country suffers from these disease. Ironically, no Nigerian will attempt such display of disrespect towards South Africans in SA forum, yet here they are. The boldness and audacity is startling! Finally, i implore on the moderators of this section - Justwise and Disguy to suspend indefinately the accounts of Irongalaxy and TMKsouth due to their toxicity on this forum.
