anonimi:The senate voted in July, 2017 to allow for independent candidates along with other changes, which were also rectified by at least two third of State Houses of Assemblies. That amendment was sent to the President for his signature. Public records indicating if the President had signed it are scarce, but 2019 is still very much a distant. These information are public knowledge, use google. |
beamtopola:Again, not true. You have to still work smart to be rich anywhere. There are people that own their own business in the US and work very hard, but still not hitting the ceiling. |
emmie14:It just means that IBB is not going to support Atiku. Just like any warm blooded citizen, Atiku is free to contest for the PDP ticket, but without enough stakeholders support he is DOA. Plus, having rejoined the Party recently, he need these same people to vote to waive the party’s constitution stipulating a wait period before a returnee can contest any election on the parties platform. Also, he have the right to contest the Presidency as an Independent candidate or seek another willing party. |
Onlinephobia:Point of correction! Work smart, not hard. If working hard is what it takes, truck pushers would be among the rich. |
There is nothing like church marriage or wedding in the Bible. Marriage is traditional, once you seek the parents consent, then have performed the necessary obligations and they give her to you, she becomes your wife. Court and church wedding are optional depending on your mileage. The laws recognize traditional marriage only that, it does not have strong protections as statutory marriage. Most church weddings are statutory in nature, since the minister must get a license from the government to officiate and they either pass on to you the marriage certificate from the government or file evidence of the marriage on your before before the government, who will then turn around and issue a certificate to you. Each culture or locality have their own traditional marriage ‘certificate’ system. In my village, the office of the king gives the man a receipt as evidence of the marriage after the payment of a token. Down the road if the marriage unravels and the parties want to go their separate ways, the woman returns the token (I think it is N1k or N2k) to the king’s palace and a message will be sent to the guy to come pick it up. Regardless if the guy shows or not, the lady is free and the kings records will be updated to reflect the return money. Note: The money token was very high before and people started complaining, because ladies who would have otherwise left the marriage due to abuse and maltreatment, were finding it difficult to source the money, some even met their unfortunate end while trying...so it was reduced to make the exit easy if one wishes. |
ok, am coming |
It’s because you are an amateur period! If a lady allow you to romance her, if you know what you are doing, she will definitely ask you insert your SIM card. Don’t push it, don’t rush it...continue the romance..once she is engulf and she will plead with you to insert it. |
None sense, if you study eschatological events as stated in the Bible, there will be a peace accord with two state solution. Trump is just over his head. This decision will be revised after the next Presidential election. You can also see that, this is all politics for him. He announced Jerusalem as the State capital but disapproved congress’ passed bill to move US embassy to Jerusalem, just like prior Presidents. |
seXytOhbAd:They prey on people who sell things and don’t do the due diligence to make sure their money is indeed in their account before shipping the item, plus those who don’t know PayPal rules or how it works. This scam has two MO: 1. They will craft a genuine looking PayPal notification email to you and hurry you to ship the item immediately. You very excited will delay login to your PayPal to verify if the payment is actually in your account...some sophisticated ones will include a ‘Paypal’ link in the email that you will be asked to click to verify the payment should you want to, the link will take you to a fake PayPal website that looks genuine and you will ‘see’ your payment there. In any case, don’t click any of their links, type www.paypal.com on a new browser to verify. 2. This is more subtle and will make you violate PayPal/eBay policy. In this, they will send actual payment with a mailing address through PayPal or eBay, but later will call you on the phone and tell you that, an emergency came up and they are traveling immediately and will give a new mailing address over the phone. Once they receive the item at the new address and before the pending flag is removed from the PayPal payment, they will send you a PayPal/eBay msg that they have not received the item and proceed to file a claim. They will get every of their penny back, since you shipped to the wrong address. |
Everythinggoes:Where exactly in the Bible did it say tha, those who don’t pay tithe are robbing God? And before you response with Malachi, make sure you read the whole chapter and the premises and context. If Jesus could consider it necessary to pay his taxes & and of his disciples, an action which does not command any heavenly blessings, but just to teach us about our civic responsibilities towards the government of the day; don’t you think major parts of his sermons would have dwell on the subject of robbing the Heavenly Father? What about the Apostles, any reference to them practicing or even warning their listeners against this robbing God business? |
How can one unseen this, advise needed? Meanwhile, @OP for humanity seek, please consider adding Viewer Discretion Advised to the topic. |
blackbeau1:Yes that is what he thinks, what can you do about it? Nothing!, worst case scenario, you rant some more on social media...Shikina! |
Daboomb:I clearly stated in my opening phrase that, am not pleading her case, aka....not justifying her as you paraphrased it. I was just responding to someone who thinks owning 16 bank accounts is dubious, which is not. Contrary, owning multiple bank accounts is a shrewd financial strategy, if you command lots of money. |
AlanTuringAI:Am not trying to plead her case, but there is not wrong in owing 16 accounts and it is very easy to owe such number of accounts. I will dare to advise many entrepreneurs or people with enough money not to cluster all of them in one account. NDIC insured each depositor up to only N500k, it then means should the back fold up and you have N3b inside, you will only get N500k period! But if you are prudent, spreading that N3b among multiple banks creates a better safety net. Also different banks have different products, securities and services. I can have a CD account with bank A, and Fixed Deposit account with Bank B and Money Market account with Bank C, If you are a contractor or a consultant, it is possible to start opening account within the same bank as your client for easy and speed of payments, this will remove third-party bank verification and less the delay in your money becoming available to re-use to process materials for the contract, going getting your goods from abroad, if your current bank does not have the right relationships or better foreign correspondence bank, you will be forced to seek another bank and since each bank will place a cap on your transactions, which might delay your projects, you want to have more, so things will be easier for you..etc, etc, etc...All these are legit and before you know it, you have 10s of bank accounts all over the place...Each company that you form, a separate legal entity and will start having their own sets of different accounts, but you control all these accounts....When you do not have even one million to call your own, you will not comprehend the prudence in having multiple accounts, but once the money start coming, it will all make sense. |
NwaChibuzor33:My conclusion is that, you quoted that statement metaphorically, because if the Fulanis were actually on their land or occupying same, the out cries and killings we are witnessing would not have occurred. The truth is, as they continue to push each community one after the other to the wall, they will have no choice than to armed themselves and fight back. One tribe stirring up strife against multiple is not a good survival technique. |
Munae:Not true, the ends does not justify the means...stop putting the cart before the horse. Trust, but verify is the watch words I live by. |
Emeka decamp to APC about a week ago and now Anthony got a carbinet position...same Ojukwu, coincident ?I can authoritatively conclude that, if Kanu turn a new leave and join APC, he or a relative will be made a Minister and declared a saint the next day. BTW: All his previous sins will be wiped clean and Lie Muhammed will be all over the place, proclaiming how Kanu is kind and saint at heart and that it was rascals in IPOB, that were soiling his good repute and name. |
marooh:Me self, na the comments I come watch. |
AntiWailer:Ebilike say you be comedian....’prints on the knife’ kai, for 9ja? How dem go take see am? All those CSI film don dry alter your sense of 9ja reality, those things only happen in civilized enclaves. Even if, the knife owner write him/her on the blame, 9ja police no go see. The way this ‘investigation’ will end is, they will ‘arrest’ everyone close to him, shake them until the last penny dropped and if in the process any weak minded one happens to confess, they will release everyone except that person and continue the shake down from there....if that individual can further meet the right price tag, he will be released and the ‘investigation’ will be closed as suicide. |
All that caught my attention is the pregnant lady in white NYSC uniform, abi na pot-belle bi that? Lalasticlala, I beg come check am, e fit be say na snake she chop so! |
Ok |
checkedout:Okay, I did not see where he refuted that, she is not his sister and the most extreme deduction will conclude that, she is a blood relative because of his use of the phrase ‘same Chinda family’. What I see is a careful crafted response to distant himself from the lady by going the extra mile in referencing her by using the ‘third person’ nouns and pronouns. He would have saved everyone the trouble by addressing the perceived error(s) in the blogger’s conclusions by either stating categorically that: 1. She is not his sister and/or 2. She did not steal. |
Compliant:The blogger did not publish any falsehood and Duncan’s response did not indicate anything like that, he is just bad about the negative exposure. The lady appear to be related to Duncan and she stole...those facts are not in contradiction, even by Duncan and that was exactly what the blogger posted. Only that, Duncan appear to be claiming that, her sister’s behavior is attributable to her mental state, which could be true and still does not negate the blogger’s post. |
Organs:Agreed, the guy is a criminal and the sad truth is, we will have to live along side guys like these the rest of our lives and no matter where we live, locally or abroad. But, the most important thing is to not become one of their prey or learn from past prey-experience against future interactions and that is what I was trying to address. I was not really blaming the lady, am an entrepreneur and have fall victim to scam/fraud before and learnt valuable lessons that helped in mitigating future re-occurrences. |
NwaChibuzor13:The truth is, the words ‘RIP’ is selfish and sel-severing as it only projects the person that say it in good lights. It has zero meaning and zero effect on the victim to whom it is directed. |
Sorry, at least you have learnt valuable lessons & experience from the incident that will better prepare you for the future. Lessons & Experience do have a cost that must be paid; they are not free and sometimes, they are very expensive. Red Flags that you ignore. 1. Don’t allow Strangers to change your predefined meeting location on a fly. This has serious security implications, not only scammers use this MO, those who want to do you harm also use it. 2. Don’t allow strangers to influence or change your decisions. This is another of their MO, they want to throw you off your game and to see if they change your mind and gain your trust. 3. He wants to buy a real estate, which I guess run into some millions of Naira; but can’t afford to maintain enough minutes on his phone or means of topping up his minutes remotely. 4. His friend, who also want to make another million naira deal with you, can’t afford to pay his bike man. Most likely, you were eager to make a sale and was blindsided...that is a weakness you must work on. Don’t loose the sense of all checks and balance, because you want to net the next breakthrough. |
we don hear continue... |
Amarabae:But she clearly state they did have sex. |
hamilton62:Sir, any scriptural reference from the pioneers of the Christian faith e.g. Jesus Christ, the Disciples, Apostles, Epitetle, etc tying the bequeathing of ‘extra-ordinary grace for providence’ to tithing? You don’t even know what Grace is and it’s place in Christian life. It will shock you to realize that, in true biblical teachings, you only talk of Grace when you are a sinner and looking up to God’s unmerited and undeserving favor to save you. Once you are born again, you have been clothed in God’s Grace and righteousness and that new life you live is in God... you stand righteous in his sight just like Jesus blemless and just like Jesus not needing Grace before him, you do not now. So, as a Christian, you already have the Grace of God abiding in us and with us...BTW, you don’t need ‘extra-ordinary’ or ‘more Grace’. God’s Grace is immeasurable and unquantifiable....it is light God’s Salvation or righteousness...there is nothing like ‘extra-ordinary Salvation or extra-ordinary righteousness’. |
If one die ‘on his way to the hospital’, why is his corpse lying there on the ground along side his partner in crime who died on active duty? Or they brought his body back to the crime scene and dumped it on the floor after he died ‘on his way to the hospital’? The most plausible scenario is that, the second guy survived the gun fight or surrender and a Police on vendetta mission possibly because a colleague was injured or killed during the gun duel or purely out of the ‘high’ of the moment or something else just finished the guy up...then the back store was developed to cushion themselves incase of any uncertainties. |
The only caveat to that is that, if you must hit-back; make it proportionate to the hit you got, also make sure, there is a physical evidence on you to collaborate your ‘hit-back’ story. Else, if the cops shows up and it is just your word against hers or they see an evidence on her body and none on yours, you are going to jail at least for that night, until she decides that she is pressing/not pressing charges. Even in cases, where there are evidence in booths of your bodies, it means a suspected case of domestic violence has been established and based on the law, one of you have to leave the house...and you will more often than not, be the one to be ejected. |
