heendrix:N100k the bail and not fine for the offense. Posting bail does not means he walks. It is just a surety that he will appear in court continuously as his case progresses and until the matter is fully adjudicated. Once fully adjudicated, his bail money will be refunded to him. If on the other hand, he failed to appear in court and it is not excused i.e. He absconded, his bail will be revoked, which means he lost the money and a warrant for his arrest will be issued. When caught, he will be sent to jail from where he will be coming to court until his case is fully adjudicated. The reason behind bail is because, despite the offense, the law sees all defendants innocent until proven guilty beyond any reasonable doubt and as such, it will be unjust to deprive them of liberty while they are seen as 'innocent', bail conditions are not meant to be punitive. |
Will they also pay God or bride God to answer the prayers? |
dhope001:A good offense is the best defense, but I don't advocate acid oh! |
Bisjosh:But he only got a year extra, abi you maths dey hard you? Based on his own statements, he started his course 2009 and graduated 2014...supposed to have graduated in 2013 but for ASUU strike. |
Is that not piss they are sitting on? |
Is it a he or a she? OP expansiate and differentiate. |
martyns303:The certification is actually for the Airport, Delta flies directly into the US. Without this certification, it will not happen and Nigeria will loose big time to neighboring Africa countries as those US flights will reroute there and use them as their hubs, Nigeria bound travelers will then be put on a connecting flight to Nigeria. |
Oluwaseyi00:Appreciation is earned and should not become the statuesque. Seyi earn a living by making fun of people and getting a laugh out at their expense, including handicap people and those who don't have control over their situations. It is therefore, not cruel or misplaced or surprising that, people are returning the favor and here for the right reasons, I think he truly earn it. They that throw stones, should always remember not to live in glasses houses; because others will return the favor and they will not care, if it was circumstances or situations not of their makings that resulted in them in living in a glass house. |
nenajanek:No, that is not love...he sees his wife as another beautiful ornament on his crown, that others must notice and acknowledge. In essence his wife is an object of his pride. When and if that object lost her beauty, he will go hunt for another beautiful one. |
Tolexander:Traditionally rulers and kings do not have any constitutional role or functionality in a democracy and the institution itself is not democratic. They only function as auxiliary clan leaders...I don't even know why the federal government is paying them salaries. |
If one piece these together, it appears that Mrs Osagie is trying to pull a fast one on all. The money obviously does not belong to her, witness saw and even help her carry the money into her car on the even prior to it reported 'stolen'; throw her in cell for three days with hard labor and she will confess. |
O boy! Make u no vess oh...you sure say the pickin na your own so? Because, the boy fine pass you no bi here!...am just saying, don't shot the messenger. |
chizobam7:All I need to believe her are the unclad pictures... ![]() The pictures of the client and baboon are irrelevant as far as am concern. |
IamKashyBaby:His younger brother dey browse him fiancée website, even when he was actively praying to Baba God to avert a bad omens of his untimely death, dreamed up by his fiancée. He need your advice. |
kboycrew:There was no loophole, she must have been married to a Nigeria and had been frequenting Nigeria, hence the slangs. I believe her, but she must have overlooked the stamp on her passport when she entered, agreed she was given two months visa, but was stamped to only stay for 30 days, so she overstayed...but immigration were trying to use that oversight to extort money from her. |
SalamRushdie:Dude, you paint with too wide a brush. You have a valid point, but don't tarnish it by over generalization of the facts. |
Richy4:The human physiology have a way of reproducing in form of dreams, what have intensely preoccupied our hearts hearts during the day, so I believe her! |
bluecircle470:Nothing to be ashamed of. We all have our individual life to live. Some will not marry, others will marry, many will fall out out marriage and a few will stay together till death. Despite the attractiveness of some of the above experiences compare to the others, No particular one is superior to the other, what matters is how we handled them. And while we pray for what we think is the best experience, we should not be naive and be caught unprepared, should one of the other ones become our reality. So, prepare for all of them and have a plan ready. We all have to run the race that is set in front of us and make a better use of the odds that life have dealt us along the way. |
Sheuns:Once a queen, always a queen. |
DJHANDSOME:Since, you don't know what to do next, I will suggest that, you go and pay her dowry and marry her. By so doing, you would have helped tremendously in draining the pool of single ladies of one bad apple...Believe me, eligible bachelors will be forever grateful for your service to mankind and humanity. |
eleojo23:You lack reading comprehension... 1. University admission cut off is not 120. 2. JAMB didn't fix cut off for any school. 3. It is each school senate that is responsible for fixing cut off point. 4. JAMB guidelines merely stated that, in fixing those cut off points, at no point must it be below 120. Go back and read/re-read the JAMB guidelines. And one of the reasons, this was done is to establish a floor, because some Universities especially private Universities were admitting students who did not even seat for JAMB. Some private Universities were magnets for some students who have access to the financial means despite their poor showings in exams; JAMB had to step in to establish a fair and even playing field for all. |
Dutchey:Stop looking for handouts. |
Great achievement and noble except for going to Harvard for an Engineering course. Harvard is not Ivy League college for Engineering. MIT is perfect, also throw is Cornell; Harvard is known for business and law. |
HannahHitler:The victim made an ice capable of reaching the ceiling, assembled them and climbed on top hanged him/her self. The police was called in after neighbors didn't see the guy for couple of days. On breaking the door, they saw the victim hanging dead from the ceiling and a pool of water which were from the melted ice. |
eezeribe:I don't see how the Federal Government will sweep the ECOWAS suit under carpet. That said, the suit is DOA - Dead On Arrival. In a federalism, law enforcement is the exclusive right of the Executive branch of government and the judiciary branch cannot force the executive to arrest anyone. If four people commits the exact same crime, the executive can decide to arrest and prosecute only three, even among the three arrested, they can give one a sweet plead deal, another probation and the third one prosecuted to the max, even if that is 20 years behind bar. If you say, this will lead to partiality, favoritism; you are correct and it is actually happening. The only thing one can do is to put public pressure to the Executive to apply the law evenly or to publicly shame them into action...going about it legally is DOA. |
Integrityfarms:O boy, can we connect? I have a farm in Benin and need farm employees. I have been using day laborers and it is very expensive. I truly need connections for permanent labor. |
FemiFemola:Good investments don't yield income over night, this is not MMM 'investment'. |
Am surprised he wad 'caught' and even more surprised that, he is been prosecuted. This means, there is hope for Nigeria. |
Throwback:An injured party in the MiddleEast have to retain a Nigerian lawyer for him/her to be able to do that and yes, it can be done. However, like I have previously indicated US settles affected parties on the side on a daily bases and as such, it will be difficult to get a truly injured client. BTW, there are countless human right violation suits against the US all over the world, but they don't usually see the light of the day, plus host countries from where individuals instituted these claimed are pressured to strike them out. |
Throwback:You writes as someone of diminished intellect, they do not have to come to Nigeria to enforce anything...The plaintiffs are suing for monetary damages and compensations and should they win, an order can be enforced against Nigeria assets including monies and the plaintiffs will be made whole through that process. In admission a lost in an international human right case will paint Nigeria in bad light international will affect the Nigeria's government efforts to get favors abroad. Finally, Nigeria cannot sue for 'atrocities' committed by US Army in the Middle East, because Nigeria does not have standing as they are not injured...and for your information the US government pays lots of compensations behind close doors to many of those families abroad affected by US wars, many are given cash rewards, other family members remaining in some cases are given priority entrance into US to start a new life - all paid for by the US government, hence you do not see many of those human right violation cases against the US. |
stanway:More like, robbing Peter to bury Paul. |
ddippset:I think, the words you were looking for there are... greed and love of money. Many men and women can do the unthinkable, if you give them a couple of hundreds of thousands of dollars, talkless of when the rewards are in the millions of dollars range! |
