I think we have different opinions...my position is, not every born again Christian sister can cope and that the fact they cannot cope does not make them any less spiritual...once you are married, you become one with your spouse...

so she cannot be independently working for God while the husband independently works in his ministry for God...their work for God would have to be combined and be in sync and if she does not have the ministry calling, she will be out of sync and will not be the 'help mate' meant for the pastor in ministry.

The bible say...some are called into the ministry...and God will find an help mate suitable not for some but for all who are not called to be eunuchs or who have not made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of God seek.

I have to disagree with the 'rest of mind' thing in reference to most men.

Marriage is a project to most men, it's one of the checked item on their todo list, once that project is accomished, they move on the next.

To most ladies, marriage is a destination, once they are married, they have arrived, and have a rested mind, the rest of their preoccupation thereafter is to make that destination their home.

Pastors have a special calling from God into the ministry, their wives must support them in the ministry, in essence they must be part of the ministry.

The fact that, you may have encountered a less than professional Nigerian doctor does not mean all Nigerian doctors are the same and must be doomed.

It appear the hospital do not have the drilling machine and the one in question belongs to the Dr. from his private practice.

In the US it is the norm to pay multiple parties various fees apart from the hospital when you go for surgery or childbirth.

But unlike this case, they all go through the insurance company(if you have insurance) and they certainly send you invoices.

Not every professional or expert that attends to you at the hospital are paid by the hospital, many are consultants who you have to settle as well.

Under this condition in this story, the wise thing to do is to actually pay the money or look for another hospital, you don't want someone to saboteur your operation.

Op, this is how the PayPal system works, when you buy goods, PayPal holds the money from getting to the buyer until it confirms the goods have been delivered and buyer is satisfied. Now the burden of proof rests on the seller to inform them the goods was delivered and ok ! I once bought Nike Gym shoes on eBay that ended up looking like something made from Ariaria Market in Aba, (apologies to my bros from the East), I lambasted the seller and escalated the issue to eBay, the seller did not agree o! However eBay read our message exchange and sent me an apology letter. They paid for the shipping back and refunded my complete money !

Not true, am an ebay power seller, I gets my money the second the buyer pays....if for some reason I could not complete the transaction eg ran out of stock because the item was sold on Amazon or elsewhere and the listing was not taken down from ebay, I process a refund for the buyer.

Lucasbalo: The OP hit the nail on target. It's the lack of trust for Nigerians and anything Nigerian. Always use ebay and never have any problem. Make sure your money is refunded or you threaten to sue them because that's what this big American firms are afraid of. Goodluck.

gee! You want to sue Paypal over $200 and you say they afraid of that? That is a small claims matter, is he going to go get a visa and buy a return trip ticket to the US to prosecute his $200 case before a small claims judge now?

My point is, you don't have to threaten to sue anyone, they will see through it....PayPal will refund your money, so you do not even have to go through all that....you can even change your mind on a legitimate transaction and still get your money back if the seller has not shipped the item and if the item has been shipped, return it with tracking and upon verification, your money will be refunded.

eBay/Paypal is 110% safe for buyers! you have to follow the rules! but not so much for the seller.

If the buyer have not shipped your item, you can cancel the transaction and get every one of your penny back. Sometimes, even if the buyer has shipped and it's not delivered, you still in the clear to get your money back even if tracking shows the item in transit and it's past 30 days (which may be as a result of a lazy mailman/woman in the chain of custody that could not bothered to scan the item)....

But, watch the sellers make such ebay/paypal display's buyer protection on that transaction, avoid buyer unprotected transactions like plague.

From what I read, the rating is from the perspective of current employees of these companies. You might be looking at these companies as a customer, which is wrong.

GLO & PHCN customers might have a terrible rating of the companies, but the employees there might have a different story.

Anyone can put a call to the register or President of any School and ask such a question, they will never require you to bring a court order.

Since, we know and it is a public knowledge that St. Paul's College, Lawrenceville, Virginia does not offer Master's degree in Business Administration, is it true that in additional to listing her BSc as coming from St. Paul College, did the Honorable Senator also indicate in her CV that she obtained a Masters degree from St. Paul?

If this is the true, it will be the very first time an aggrieved ex-employee who was sack due to no fault of his/her own will want to complain anonymously? Is he afraid of some type of retribution from the Company, I do not know of any harsher retribution from an employer than the one he got....or he does not want future employers' to view him in a bad light.

If an employer sack me, I will not go about complaining but neither will I discuss it anonymously should the issue force itself into a conversation or a write-up.

Since, yourself know that, it is more likely that she could be your daughter; I don't advice that you see the other lady or do DNA test before informing your wife. If you are more certain that the test will be negative, then you can do it behind your wife.

But, since it is more likely; get talk to your eary, let her know what you want to do and get her buyin, I donot think she is going to say no and letting her know ahead of time will give her the confidence that you are not neglecting her and post-DNA actions and deliberations will be far easier, if she has been part of the process.

If I bring she a story before my wife, the first question that will come out of her mouth will be 'How long have you known this?' and I believe, this will be a legitimate question from most married women, because they want to know how long you have been keeping this. You should not ignore the situation. Agreed, the girl had not known you for 9yrs but from your comments, she have been inquisitive. Put yourself in her shoes, it will affect anyone emotionally and physiologically. Despite what her mother have told her, she have many unanswered questions, questions like 'why did you foresake her', 'why is she not lived', etc. Her mother must have told her the truth of her not been able to locate you, but she need to hear it from you.

You need to do a DNA test, I will advice you talk to your wife before the test and let her know that, there is a 50/50 chance. Since the lady is married, your wife will be more at easy. It is preferable your wife is involved in the process from the onset. If you do the DNA before informing her and it is confirmed, she will not be happy with for doing it behind her.

As someone else have indicated, let the mother take custody, but you and the baby shld have access to each other.

I don't believe there exists any judge in Nigeria who will make a ruling which could destabilize the country, when he can let the status quo be, and support his judgement by constitutional provisions. If there is a division within a party, these lawmakers can switch without violating any provision of the constitution. It is not difficult to see the obvious division within the PDP.

True talk, the very fact that 37 legistilators can switch from one party to another is an obvious sign of faction and division within the party and PDP will lost if they go to court.

If it were one or two people that switched, they would had have a case.
