Daboomb:Was Atiku indicted? His wife getting jailed or a congressman getting jailed has no bearing on him, if he was not indicted. Prosecutors would have seek an indictment against him at the same time, they seek the one against his wife and the congressman. BTW, how do one buy an America visa? Now, we are talking of a prominent politician in Nigeria and who have come under the radar of US congressional iniqueries and whose wife has also been jailed previously in the US....He can’t just walk up to the embassy and bribe someone there to issue him a visa. Unless you are insinuating that Trump or someone high up in the States Department in the US are in on it to “sell” a visa to Atiku. Because for his status and the possibility that he might be the next President, couple with the fact that his name have been mentioned relative to some corruption case in the US; the embassy in Abuja or Lagos does not have the final say on his visa....that request will be forwarded to Washington DC, where it will be evaluated by technocrats on the political ramifications of an approval vs denial and not based on the money he may pay. |
9japrof:They don’t grab people anyhow like that in the US without a warrant. There is no pending indictment against him in the US and there is no warrant for his arrest. What is been circulated in the media, was an investigation of corruption by congress in the US that mentioned his wife and himself. Congress did not forward the case to DOJ for prosecution. Being a major party’s Presidential candidate in Nigeria, I pretty sure that Atiku have his sources in the US that must have researched federal pending indictments, warrants and that of the States that may be involved and must have him that the coast is clear. |
Why leave his boxes on? Abeg he is not yet mad, panel beating him but not taking his life is in order, after then hand his panel beaten body to the Police for prosecution. |
Lukgaf:Not true, you also pay for trolley in major US airports e.g. JFK, LGA, EWR, etc. |
This clearly fake, everyone there is acting the script given to them, rewind and watch more closely and it will become evident. The guy let out the cat, because he is not a good actor; for one he was over playing the drama and secondly, he rushed the lady in an attempt to beat her, but could not even grab her wigs, dress, etc? His hands went around the back of her neck, but he did not motion to grab hold of her or strike her- which was the whole purpose of rushing her. |
Bloggers should get some ethic, you are risking this guy’s life by printing his name and posting his picture. I doubt if the government and the military mights in Nigeria under whom he serve will appreciate his tell-all story and he may be targeted for retribution. |
splmosixx:Forcing shrine to register with either CAC or some governmental entity and asking them to display their registration documents prominently, where everyone who patronize them can see it, will go a long way to reduce cases of ritual killings. Just announce a reward scheme with a juicy offer to anyone who reports an erring shrine and indicating where the shrine is located. Any offending shrine should be reduced to ashes and owner prosecuted and jailed. Before you know it, even yahoo boyz who are down on their luck or have been frustrated by some native doctor not only now have an venue to revenge, but they can make some kool cash while doing it. |
SIMPLYkush:Where was it concluded that she cheated? The lover boy is highly insecure and immature period and has no business dating. They both denied his allegations, you would have provided proofs instead of going into fits or rage. In the very least, before you accuse your SO of cheating, obtained irrefutable proof, asking them to confirm your suspicions does not count. Otherwise, allow sleeping dogs to lay until you can obtain such proofs, or better still break up with them and move on. |
TechCapon:I don't think this truly have anything to do with Trump, there is nothing Trump can do, except maybe put heavy taxes on gas to make it better. This is a pure testament to the Average American. They love big things! Big houses, big cars, big truck, etc....Those are their choices by default, they only stray away from these defaults if pressed economically. Gas has been very cheap at the pump, hence they are going for the big truck, if you listen to the news; oil has been dirt-cheap for the past years. If tomorrow the price of gas goes up or the cost of oil goes up, the demands for trucks by Americans will node-dive and you will start hearing GM closing truck manufacturing plants to open new car manufacturing plants. So, this is not really a trend, it is just a temporary feel-good response to the momentary economic realities. |
lonngmann:If want you meant by 'global community' is Americans, then then the answer is Yes. That is where the core of the demand is and suppliers have to listen to the region or demography that is core to their supply chain. |
Guyman02:Stop spreading hoax, Graham Bell’s girl friend who he later married was called Mabel Hubbard. The first person Bell called after he invented the phone his Assistant and the firs words he spoke was ‘come here, I want to see you’. The word ‘Hello’ was derived from ‘Hola’ meaning, please stop and pay attention. |
Over to you copycat Pastors in Nigeria. Nigerian Pastors will take this concept to a whole new level......wait and see. In no distant time, they also start walking on water. |
TheGreenLand:Yes, there will always be customers; but that is not the issues. The bigger question is, if the number of customers aka unit sold/revenue generated is enough to beat their revenue and EPS estimates, if not they will be in serious problem. Apple learnt is bitterly recently with their launch of their new iPhone product line....before the launch Apple was a $1T company, post launch and their earnings reports, despite the fact that they beat on revenue, because there was sluggishness in number of units sold, the company valuation took a hit, making them to lose about $200b in just few weeks. |
NwaAmaikpe:Base on your analysis and conclusions....I guess James, the Son of Zebedee one of the disciples of Jesus who was decapitated was not a real Pastor nor was Bartholomew another disciple, who was skinned alive. Thomas another disciple was speared to death, another fake, going by your analysis. Matthew was stabbed to death, another embarrassing death not befitting of a real Pastor. Matthias who replaced Judas and was said to have been vertically sawed in half while from his buttocks to his head, while been hanged upside down, must be another fake. Well, what do I know. God's ways are not man's ways. |
TEDHorsePower:OP, you threw me off with your double negatives in the bolden portion above. So, from opinion, first hand experience and personal knowledge and interactions with one of the sub-contractors, were the builders incompetent? The implied rendition of your double negatives means, the builders were incompetent. I don’t know, if this was the impression that you were trying to convey. |
omron:It appear that, part of the reason you want to marry her is because she is a virgin. You might say that is not correct, but let me put it differently....will you be disappointed if on your wedding night, you found out she is not a virgin? If the answer is YES, then part of the reason you want to marry is because of that. If you truly love her, it will not matter if she is a virgin or not. But, the bottom line is; it appear you will be restless until you either confirm her virginity or visit her Jerusalem, since your mind or curiosity is on that; the best advice from me is for you to satisfy your curiosity. If she continues to resist, table the whole matter for her, so you guys can have an adult conversation. |
Daviddson:There is nothing like ‘hate speech’, you can curse anyone you wish to, or hate them via any speech; it is your right. The only speech that is illegal and prosecutable is, when one incite violence against another through their speech. Not everyone must like the government and everyone have the right to speak ill of the government and are protected unless they incit violence against the government. I doubt if the government can even sue anyone for libel, if their speech or accusations are found to be false - I have to read up on the Nigeria libel code again; but if someone speak ill of you are an individual your recourse is to sue them for libel in a civil court, the Police is not involved and they are not subjected to any arrest unless you won your libel suit and they disobey the Judge’s order for restitution to you. |
Richdad50:When she land US, na him her eyes go clear! |
fuckerstard:Losing valuable staffs can put a company out of business in the US. Important contractual agreements and SLAs will be affected, exposing the company to hefty fines, fees, downtime and even bankruptcy. Companies like to be in charge of ‘letting employees’ and while doing this, they are selective and prune the heavyweights out, but when the tables turns and it is the employees that are initiating their exits, no one likes it.... Very much the same with the relationship between a boyfriend and his girlfriend, no one like to be dumped, everyone would prefer to be the one dumping the other....only that in the case of a company, there are huge financial and business consequences. |
Prologue: - past... The old boy friend took the car he bought for her away, because she cheated on him....prompting the new boy friend to buy her a new car. Epilogue: - loading.... The new boyfriend took back the car he just bought forher, because he caught her cheating with someone. Final Chapter: - post-loading.... She is on the look out for another MAGA to buy her another car. |
yettymuse:Nothing ventures, nothing wins....the old saying goes. If you not in it, you can't win it.......and that is how life goes. |
Give him time, if you guys were true friends as you have indicated, he will definitely reconnect with you. The truth is, going abroad especially with a visa and no work permit is very difficult. Even those who have work permit before traveling abroad are having it very difficult. You get discriminated against based on the color of your skin and the way you talk. Many have many problems they had to sort through, I don't think, the issue with him is saying 'Hi' back to you. Many feel disappointed, dejected and depressed when they come face to face with the reality on ground, but despite all that, they struggle to put a good showing. If they call back home and say things are not good for them abroad, people back home will not believe them, some will even curse them and say they are there in abroad 'wasting their visa'. The other thing is, when you travel abroad; the list of people that depend on you or call you for one thing or the other increase through the roof and you truly don't know what will follow the next "Hi" or call from home; so many just adopt the "maintaining the low profile" strategy until their head is above the water a little bit. If you are a true friend, once in a while; instead of just "Hi"; send him a lengthy message. Things like birthday wishes, telling him you know it is hard, but let him keep fighting....try to differentiate yourself from the other myriad of people who hide behind a "Hi" to request for this and that...and he will open up to you about what he is going through....you will better appreciate and understand him. Don't read much meaning into him sending his gf money....he might not even know the gf is cheating on him in Nigeria like you indicated and he might just be thinking, she is a wife-material....even in Nigeria, it is common place for guys to be more close to their gf compare to their best friends and if it comes to choosing just one, some guys even in Nigeria will choose their gf over their best friend....so, sending his gf money and not even responding to your "Hi" does not mean, he picked up that trait merely because he traveled out or trying to 'act big'. Very few Nigerians who work really hard for their money and leave abroad 'act big' because they themselves know the dehumanizing jobs and situations through which they make that money, some can't even disclose to you what the do to earn that money because they are ashamed that you will laugh at them. Most of those who show-up and 'act big', did not really struggle hard to make that money, so they do not know the true value of a pound or a dollar....Don't desert him, there is no place like home or anything like old friendship....and some abroad still relish that nostalgia feelings about home and as best buddies that goes way back, you can help to bridge that connection. |
alBHAGDADI:My Dear Friend, I did not say that, the Second Coming of Christ is two events. You can go back and carefully read my prior post. What I stated is that, the Rapture is a distinct and separate even from the Second Coming of Christ, with each taking place on either side of the timeline of the Great tribulation. And these two events have strong scriptural backing from Zechariah, Isaiah the prophet to Revelation, you just have to be deliberate when you read them to pick up the differences... The passage you cited above in Mathew talks about the Second Coming of Christ, it said the Lord will be coming and all tribe shall see him and mourn, and his angels shall go to all ends of the earth to gather his elects. Zechariah 14:4 said his feet shall touch Mount Olive during this time, and it is clear that, the gathering refer to in Mathew is towards Mount Olive, where the feet of Christ will touch upon. And it is logical to reason that, it was the second coming and Zechariah's professes that, was in the mind of the disciples, when they came to ask him to tell them the signs of the end of time, because Jesus was on mount Olive, when the disciple approached him with this question and he explained it them, right there on mount Olive. Revelation chapters 6-19 also talk about the second coming of Christ. However, the passage you quoted in Thessalonian talks about the Rapture, you see how it stated that, the dead saints shall rise, no dead saint shall rise during the second coming, if you read Revelation, question was asked about the dead saints who died during the tribulation and the response is, that will wait...Also see that, Thessalonian say, the Lord shall be in the Air, he did not descend into mount Olive and the saints will be caught up to meet him in the Air and see how Thessalonian did not mention any war, no darkening of moon, sun, no mourning, no crying, etc as indicated in Mathew. There are more differences with scripture references: At the Rapture, believers will be caught up to meet the Lord in the Air (1 Thess 4:17), but at the Second Coming, believers will return with the Lord to the earth (Rev 19:14). The Rapture is imminent, it could take place any moment , instant and no man, only God in heaven knows when it will happen (1 Cor 15:50-54, Math 24:44, Tit 2:13; 1 Thess 4:13-18); However, the Second Coming will not occur until other end-time events have happened and it will occur after the tribulation has lasted seven (7) years(Rev 1:7, Matt 24:29-30). Rev 3:10-11; says Christ shall protect believers from the tribulation that shall come upon all the world and He will do this through the Rapture by taking them out of the scene. The Rapture is a time of reward and blessings to believers, while the second coming is a time of judgement and for the anti-christ and unbelievers who joined him. Jesus and the saints will not be involved in any conflict, no war, etc during the rapture...there will be war during the second coming. During the rapture, He will come like a thief in the night, if you read mathew again; all eyes will see him, the moon, sun, etc will be darken...that is not exactly like a thief...so that is a separate event than the rapture being described in mathew verses you cited. To come to my position, read every account of the endtime events talking about Christ's coming as documented in Zechariah, Isaiah, Cor. Thess. & Revelation and study them side-by-side, you will conclude that, all these passages are not talking about one return event. You can even draw up a triage table of the differences and you will conclude that, two distinct events are being described. |
bianconerriii:OP, at least you should do some research to cover all your based when manufacturing stories in order to attract traffic... There is nothing like iPhone 7 64G. |
joshnnanna:This is my believe too. The OP is mixing the Rapture and the second coming of Christ together. These are two distinct and different events, and one, the rapture will happen before the tribulation and the other, the second coming will happen after the tribulations. In one, the rapture; Christians will be caught up to meet the Lord in the Air and there will be no Saints vs Anti-Christ war....but, for the second coming, the Bible say, he will descend with tens thousands of saint on mount Olive, then the battle of Armageddon will ensure after which He will establish his millennium reign, and rule the world with his saints for the thousand years, after which there will be judgement. Also during the rapture Christ will not be visible to all men, only to Christians who will be caught up...it is going to be a silent event with visible after effects in other people will be missing, there will be lots of pains, catastrophe, etc. The tribulation is not met for Christians, but unprepared Christians will pass through and anyone saved, must pay with their blood, as the dispensation of Grace will be no more. The tribulation is specifically designed to bring the Jews back to God and for them to believe in Christ. They will be so persecuted that, just like of old, they will turn to God, repair the altars, offer sacrifices and repentance to God amid their persecution and it is at the height of this that the second coming will occur with Christ visibly desecending from the skies with thousands of his saints who were raptured few years ago and they will fight the anti-Christ and his army and defeat them. |
Na wao! Person wey carry police come your house come empty all your property inside van, then come collect your land join, plus come defraud you many many through first degree runs.....come your party day party? As wetin dem take come your party? As friends or as enemies? I weak oh. |
Let me just park here to see what those naughty boyz ‘born2fuck’ and ‘NwaAmaikpe’ will comment now... |
RevenGeMission:Agreed, even the supposed upgrade ‘little people’ is still offensive, why not just People? We don’t see, these kinds of classifications in other species. There is no classification as ‘little animals’ or ‘little plants’ despite the obvious fact that, there are little plants and little animals all over. |
Aaronsrod:Dude, I understand and see the sarcasm in your comments and I know that you really don't mean...... Men! that is the kind of careless comments that can come to bite you real hard in your rare-end in the future and you may find yourself be asked to answer questions you know absolutely nothing about. At the end of the day, you may be let go, but not after kicking yourself for been so loose and careless with your social media posts. Some people erroneously believe that, since they are behind a computer monitor and a pseudo-name on the internet, they are anonymous, which is highly false....You threw anonymity off the window, the moment you switch ON that PC or laptop, long before you even access the internet....and doing it on a public computer does not hide your anonymity. |
lilbest4:When I sometime say, Nigeria have little to no hope from our current dismay condition, individuals like this poster are my evidence. How can you hold up the way a local government chairman in Nigeria treats others, especially the media as a standard for the world? The Media is the 4th Estate of any democracy, they have a duty to confront the 1st, 2nd and 3rd estates and to get answers to their questions...these other three estates cannot shut off the media. I watched that video too, Trump was trying to use his bully pulpit to shut off that Journalist and in true discharge of his responsibilities, he stood his ground and refused to be shut down or intimidated. The next journalist who took the mic, immediately supported the CNN journalist. Even Fox News filed a friend of the court amicus brief supporting the journalist against Trump and the White House. The goal of the White House was to deny coverage to those who are not in their favor...It is called democracy for a reason and another word for democracy is divided government i.e. where diverse opinions should be allowed to strive. Am ordering pop corns already to see how he is going to shut down the House, which from January will have individuals with diverse opinion. He will have to learn the hard way on how to compromise and work with them, or he will just settle for a lame duck President from here with no accomplishments and have to rule with EO which have limited power, limited authorities, can be challenged in court and can be deleted from the books by the stroke of the pen of the next President with a diverse opinion....and also confirm Judges, period! It is even poetic justice that the Judge that ruled against him here in the D.C court, was the very Judge he appointed. |
Lastanza:I don’t see anyone Akpabio been taken to court to challenge his deflection. The court cannot voice their opinion or state the laws on matters not dully and properly brought before them. Only the thief who is taken to court can be convicted. |
