Jakumo:Stop making excuses for the poor and consequently indirectly encouraging criminals. Destroy promising Africa nations like Nigeria this way, eventually, when every African nation collapses similarly, hordes numbering billions will cross the sea to attack and ravage Wealthy Europe that exist in fabulous wealth amidst the desperately poor third world. Being poor is neither desirable nor undesirable but more a condition of the mind created by the invention of politics. Humans need food, water and shelter not plasma TV. |
At work here is another example of the entitled, immature political brain of too many Nigerians that is without sense or perspective. Misunderstanding international politics and social movements that encompass human rights, this type of annoying Nigerian believes the world is sympatric to his cause, which is in reality not a special cause. I bet he was telling himself before he struck the Nigeria Government Official , ‘this is the West, and not Nigeria, where you people act “Big Man, Big Man”, here in the west I can do you anything and you cant touch me because I’m protected by the law !’. He then proceeded and slapped the Official. What he forgot, however, was that in the West the law is meant to protect everyone. In the West, unlike in Nigeria, the poor or ordinary people are not automatically granted moral authority due to societal guilt at not being able to provide, create jobs or grant security for the so-called poor masses. Government is not frightened by the prospect of you running to complain to the West, you’re already in the West. And in that West, just as the “Big Man” is not above the law by virtue of his wealth, the poor man is not above the law either by virtue of his poverty. For slapping the minister, he can expect arrest, prosecution and penalty, should the Official press charges. |
No such thing as greatness within any Nation if greatness means having arrived at perfection. Apart from this, Greatness is subjective; you’ll never arrive at consensus especially in this politics poisoned dispensation. There are just Nations, some more developed than others in relation to what we humans currently ascribe to higher or lower development. All nations are in effect developing Nations. |
Whyem15:They needn’t even be Jail breakers to act as is ongoing, they just have to be ordinary, narrowly informed types; those types you see in every corner of town, at mechanic scrap yards, hanging around kiosks, bothering people at the market, football watching joints; sometimes he is muscular or thuggish looking. The type that group around draft boards placed on lorry tires or blocks, talking loudly and expressing opinions add odds with the reality of the world. This type is an ITK of fustian politics whose opinions are only true by virtue of how loud he shouts them, cowing others. This type, on joining something like ESN or any group promising salvation by dint of the relevant theory and recommended course of action, will be the most enthusiastic. His type will want immediate outcome because he wants to enjoy those benefits in his lifetime not comprehending that no such benefits is in the first place possible. Before now, he somehow confused the gratification he vaguely believes he will enjoy, by hurting those more fortunate in life than him, with the better future his people will enjoy from his violent actions. And in this case since the course of action is independence through bloodshed, he will pursue bloodshed ravenously, desperately. He hasn’t the acumen to understand reality or how his limits are at ones exploited by leadership and separate from leadership by a gulf in class, intelligence and the life chances and opportunity that these afford. |
Thought some claim Nigerians are starving? Irrespective of threat, true starving people wouldnt leave those cattle laying around for even a second. Actually, even in London here, Council Chaves would have been away with those prime stake bags for flogging around estates or selling to butchers at the back door. |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRiisZFK6d4 Police Station https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnFfDTiNYNU Not A Police Station, it's Donatus’s house. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnFfDTiNYNU Those of us that care for others regardless of where they live in Nigeria (what gods they prey to and in what philosophical context; regardless of their tribe, economic circumstances, job, gender, sexuality, political persuasion, class and so on) would RIP less and not prey as much for the fortitude of their relations to cope with their loses if the Nigerian state, States and institutions would but merely perform in line with even the barest 21st century standards. For instance, I doubt any police officer would have died – if indeed any police officers actually died in the incident depicted in the video – had the police station been a 01/10/2021 standard police station, instead of that pre-colonial post office hovel that 1861 colonial administrators would have in any case annotated for demolition in some native’s black slate ledger. ![]() RIP |
Anaerobi:Do yourself and many of us a favour by shutting down your account. Stop posting, leave this Nigerian forum. Individuals with hate problems need to work on their attitudes instead of being so pompous about it they want others to feel same as them. |
chaloskyx:All Nigerians are bad in your wishes only. If the world views all Nigerians as bad, why are they poaching our Nurses, doctors, Tech people and students for fees in thire Universities? Why do they let "you" and thousands of others dwell in thire countries? Why do they listen to our music, watch our movies, hold our arts, read our literature? Why would they hate Nigeria when Nigeria is perhaps the only useful country in Africa outside some of the Northern nations like Egypt and Algeria? Without Nigeria and Nigerians, Africa is essentially lame and servile in forign eyes , contributors of nothing to the World except as the spook under the bed to frighten Western kids on what may befall them should they fail to be grateful for being born in the West. You think if shit fall in Africa in terms of wars, the West would come calling on some of the shitty make belief countries that stain Africa do do something? No, they will instead come to Nigeria to ask Nigeria to do something. |
Rexwalters1:Sorry, but I had to laugh, see finishing. I suspect this is funny because one has the impression that there’s a simple truth to the observation. On reading it, I immediately envisioned a guy that primarily lives under an abandoned SUV, crawling out from under the wreck to blink first at the afternoon sun, then to stretch, yawn and scratch at his butt until he is startled backward by the honking of a vehicle that speeds past, ferrying a man that adds value to society to a destination of importance. I could imagine the Ne'er-do-well of fellow resenting life to the top and pining his hope for unwarranted revenge on any group, especially any group of the uncouth, ready to disrupt society they blame for their own shortcomings. |

Chilling moment killer cop seized Sarah Everard: Dashcam video shows Wayne Couzens using Covid laws to make fake arrest of his victim on a London street - before forcing her into car, raping and murdering her Footage shows Miss Everard on the pavement with depraved Met officer moments before he kidnapped her Couzens cuffed hands behind her back, leaving her incapable of undoing the seatbelt he strapped around her Old Bailey heard harrowing details of serving police officer's deceit and Miss Everard's horrific final hours Marketing executive was raped, murdered and burned in pre-meditated attack that was weeks in planning Couzens watched with head bowed while victim's family, friends and boyfriend listened from public stalls Serving police officer has admitted kidnap, rape and murder and will be sentenced after two-day hearing This is the chilling moment killer cop Wayne Couzens stopped Sarah Everard on the street as he used Covid laws as a ploy to 'arrest' the marketing executive and force her into his rental car. Footage taken from a passing dashcam shows the 33-year-old stood on a pavement on Poynders Road in Clapham as Couzens, who was wearing handcuffs on his police belt, speaks to her. Earlier, he had spent two hours driving through central and south London - prowling Kensington, Lavender Hill and Earls Court for a lone young woman to abduct - before stalking Miss Everard and stopping next to her. The twisted Met Protection Officer can be seen producing his warrant card as he claimed Miss Everard had breached Covid restrictions. Couzens then cuffed her hands behind her back, leaving her incapable of undoing the seatbelt he strapped around her after ordering her into the back of his rental car. As the depraved killer watched in the Old Bailey with his head bowed, Miss Everard's family heard in horrific detail how Miss Everard spent her final hours before the serving Metropolitan Police officer raped and murdered her, and then burned her body in a pre-meditated attack that was weeks in the planning. It coincided with a string of increasingly sick behaviour which saw the married father-of-two flashing two women in McDonald's across two separate incidents. Witnesses later described how Miss Everard - who had spent the evening at a friend's house sharing a bottle of wine - appeared 'compliant' with her 'head down' as the 'confident-looking' officer made what seemed to be a late-night arrest at the height of lockdown in March. CCTV footage captured by a passing bus showed Miss Everard in the back seat of Couzens' hire car after she was falsely 'arrested'. Couzens, who lied to his family about working a night shift that evening, then drove Miss Everard 80 miles to a remote stretch of road in his home county of Kent. It was here that he forcibly moved her into his own Seat vehicle. Prosecutor Tom Little QC said: 'She must have realised her fate.' https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/17/48554297-10041217-image-m-18_1632932484195.jpg Footage the 33-year-old stood on the pavement with Couzens moments before he kidnapped her. Distressing details of the timeline suggest Miss Everard could have been alive for more than four hours in the back of Couzens' car. She was snatched off the street by 9.30pm and when the killer pulled into the garage at 2.30am, Sarah is thought to have been in his boot, already dead. The court heard he confessed to a psychiatrist that he had strangled Miss Everard with his belt, and the prosecution said her injuries were consistent with ones that would have been caused by his police belt. Couzens - who had prepared for the abduction by buying a rental car and a sheet of film from Amazon - hid her body inside a fridge in a patch of rubbish-strewn woodland before torching it. Footage released by police showed the moment Couzens rented the car he would go on to use to prowl the streets of London for almost two hours before picking up Miss Everard. The CCTV clip showed Couzens calmly laughing with a female attendant. He joked 'you've put me on the spot' while trying to remember his phone number as she took his details. He went on to visit a Tesco store in west London to buy a pack of 14 hairbands just an hour before Miss Everard was abducted on March 3, before making further trips to a B&Q two days after Miss Everard is believed to have been killed. He also visited a Homebase in Folkestone on the morning of Monday, March 8. CCTV footage showed the moment he went on to visit a BP garage in Dover on Friday, March 5 to buy and fill a petrol canister - believed to have been used to burn Miss Everard's body. Just days after the murder, the father-of-two took his wife and children on a family trip and allowed the youngsters to play near a pond where he had dumped Miss Everard's remains, the prosecution said. Taken to Wandsworth Police Station, he repeatedly tried to self-harm by banging his head on a sink and running into a wall, and was put under constant watch before appearing in court. Today, Miss Everard's family and friends gave victim impact statements to the Old Bailey. Her father, Jeremy Everard, demanded Couzens look at him while he was giving his testimony. The Old Bailey heard horrific details of the serving police officer's deceit and Sarah's final hours before she was raped, murdered and burned in a pre-meditated attack that was weeks in the planning: Prosecution say five words summarise what PC Wayne Couzens did to Sarah Everard: 'Deception, kidnap, rape, strangulation, fire'; Friends in Deal said Couzens was regularly seen wearing his police belt with handcuffs and pepper spray, when not on duty, and he lied that he was an undercover police officer; In December 2020 he joined Match.com and said he had no wife and children. He also signed up to an escort agency; In January 2021, Couzens worked on COVID patrols and 'used this knowledge' to kidnap his victim, who he stopped after doing laps of west and south-west London on the night of March 3, 2021; On February 10 he bought a 'police standard issue handcuff key with double locking pin' from Amazon, which he used on his police-issue cuffs to detain Sarah Everard and force her into his hire car; On February 28, Couzens booked a hire car online from Enterprise and ordered a 100m roll of carpet protector film from Amazon, used to line the boot where he eventually kept Sarah's body; He had told his wife that he was working a night shift when he grabbed Sarah - in fact he was off duty and cruising the streets looking for a victim; A couple driving past witnessed the kidnapping. Couzens using his warrant card and handcuffs to make a false arrest. They believed she had 'done something wrong' so didn't intervene; A former boyfriend said Sarah was 'extremely intelligent, savvy and streetwise' and would never get into a stranger's vehicle 'unless by force or by manipulation', which is exactly what Couzens did; Sarah was driven 80 miles to the Kent coast, where she was raped and murdered after a five-hour ordeal; In 2019 Wayne Couzens bought plot of woodland in Hoads Wood near Ashford. He bragged it was 'perfect for day trips' - but it's where he burned Sarah's body and dumped it in bags in shallow water; Couzens took his family on a trip to the woods where he burned Miss Everard's body - allowing his children to play near where it was dumped; Phoned vet to arrange for an appointment to see his dog and handed in his Met Police firearms licence; Lied about being forced to 'pick up a girl' by an Eastern European gang who threatened his family; Admits to killing her with his belt - with prosecution saying injuries were consistent with his police belt; Couzens repeatedly self-harmed in his cell, as police divers found Miss Everard's phone in the River Stour; Miss Everard's father demanded killer 'look me in the face', mother said she was 'haunted' by murder and sister called Couzens 'a monster'; Court also heard how Couzens was 'attracted to brutal sexual pornography' Fake arrest 'for breaking lockdown rules' used to kidnap Miss Everard as she walked home from a friend's house Wayne Couzens accused Sarah Everard of breaking lockdown rules to make a 'fake arrest', the Old Bailey heard today. The policeman used his handcuffs and warrant card to snatch Miss Everard as she walked home from visiting a friend in Clapham, south London, on the evening of March 3. The sexual predator, who had clocked off from a 12-hour shift that morning, went on to rape and strangle the 33-year-old marketing executive before setting fire to her body. A week after she disappeared, Miss Everard's remains were found in a woodland stream in Ashford, Kent, just yards from land owned by Couzens. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/20/48560325-0-image-a-13_1632944439231.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/19/48557315-10041217-image-a-43_1632940264185.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/19/48557309-10041217-image-m-46_1632940349724.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/19/48557863-10041217-CCTV_taken_at_5_52pm_on_March_3_showed_Miss_Everard_walking_alon-m-31_1632939667188.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/19/48557865-10041217-image-a-32_1632939678561.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/16/48553199-0-image-a-41_1632930914373.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/20/48560993-0-image-a-16_1632945499694.jpg https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2021/09/29/19/48557531-0-image-a-7_1632938570576.jpg https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10041217/Moment-killer-cop-stopped-Sarah-Everard-street.html |
Op is probably among those that believe the function of women’s breast is for men's gratification. I dread to think what he would do to his wife should he discover her breast feeding the child. ![]() |
See how you Nigerians and others are enjoying these photos; no one has once mentioned elites and exploitation of the people as you would have done had the post been all about Nigeria’s traditional rulers and their relatively poorly funded palaces. You’re all staring wistfully at the foreign palaces dreaming of visiting such palaces one day and yet when someone like me comes along and suggests that since Nigeria has many monarchs and chiefs etc and that these could be tourists attractions if we but only invested in them, drawing from the past to rapidly progress them to what they might have become had colonialism not interrupted their evolution, you all frown and complain that these our traditional treasures are worthless and all should be scrapped. ![]() |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OsySuYTI26o I wonder if the early days of Sierra Leone Civil War looked like this. Although, I dare say, war in the area will be far worst since I have little doubt, but no evidence to share, that there are external forces bent on creating a linked war across the middle of Africa, from Mali to Central Africa and, perhaps, to as far as Mozambique. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmrkTi3EHqk |
Lastmankc:Lol, but I’m not sure I would be too ashamed though, as a Nigerian, if it were true; that is smart thinking right there, although I wouldn’t personally get up to something similar…. |
Chigold101:Accusations and aspersion castings are weapons in Nigeria because we’re not an evidence seeking society. Someone is fingered for a thief and, chances are, the mob lynches them immediately without questions. During SARS Protests those of us that pleaded that we move forward informed by evidence were often mocked. Another reason Activists often detest Evidence Seeking or are irritated by it is since evidence seeking has the initial effect of cooling tempers during the period spent awaiting the outcome of evidence-seeking and, of course, activists exploit anger because it drives and fuels anarchy. Sure, when you’re driven by a cause - and, accusations and aspersions casting become convenient tools justified on the bases of end results and the self-consolation that you’ll make amends for any past transgressions - you’ll hate those that try to persuade society on the importance of Evidence. It is not until positions reverse or the opposition adopts similar methods that an understanding dawns on why evidence seeking is crucial in any society or circumstance but more so in developing societies such as ours. |
DubaiLandLord2:For me, Nigeria needs to worry about Nigeria and make as much demarcations as possible between Nigeria and neighbouring Nations. Nigeria also needs to build these fences and barriers where possible and relevant regardless of America and the efficacy of their walls. Walls may be useless around American schools, colleges or higher institutions but useful incorporations into the design of new schools, collages and places of higher institution in NE Nigeria. Pakistan is happy with their border fences, walls etc as is Israel. The measure of US migrant wall, besides, isn’t preventing increasing number of nations adopting same measure, what makes us smarter than them? |
Was it necessary to drag both girls online and place them before the international court of emotional hearing just for, essentially, character building issues of normal life? Why do Nigerians upload all issues, irrespective of how relatively trivial, jeopardising the future of some of the people exposed? |
TUANKU:Lol, what sort of infrastructure do you believe they are building that will be so self-perpetuating they wouldn’t require future equivalent loans to rebuild since even excellent maintenance culture does not solve obsolescence? Industrialisation is the West’s solution. |
mybiz234:You called him a "deceptive hypocrite!" isn’t that a little excessive just because he was defensive about his country Nigeria? It just seems you were very defensive about the UK, which seems odd now since you’re not even British. |
mybiz234:You seem rather patriotic about the UK |
litaninja:He has. |
mybiz234:He has returned to Nigeria, he stated it already. By the way are you British? |
It's all bit like hazeing.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jnXuvzxs0y8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBh-Muj1Og4 |
