Kay 17, I myself do not agree with Islam. However, you cant expect muslims or any religous person to react nicely to attacks on their religion on a forum especially if there are rules to be complied with.

You want to compare this present times to the 1960's? You want to compare the blatant discrimination in the 1960's to today? Ask any successful minority how they made it in the past. As someone who has elder relatives from. Nigeria, America and the UK, can tell you that discrimination in the past was 10 times worse. A black man studying in university in UK or US could be lynched for dating a white woman in the 70's. A black man/minority had to prove that he was not a product of affirmative action or that he was 2x better than his fellow co workers. What about Nigeria? What about the rampant tribalism in the 70's, 80's and 90's in the corporate world of Lagos and Abuja. An Ijaw/Urhobo/Efik who are not from the 3 major tribes always suffer to get ahead in the corporate world. In Lagos, the Yoruba cabal suffered many of my uncles working in big Nigerian companies- no promotion if you aren't Yoruba. If you are deemed to be better, you get transferred to another branch, so that you wouldnt threaten them.


What about wars and exploitation of Africa/Asia by America and European states in the 60's, 70's and 80's? Where was the morality then? Taking this straight to religion, what about the constant oppression of atheists in those times in America? It is only recent that separation of church and state is fully enforced

I must first state that I am very happy that atheists on NL have finally acknowledged that GOD created something. I never thought I will see a day when some of the hardcore atheists will come here and acknowledge the existence of GOD let alone admit that HE is a creator. That is a very good start.

With that said, I must say that I am very disappointed with the kind of logic that these atheist are bringing here. I will give another analogy since you failed woefully to understand the last one that I gave....

Scenario 1: GOD created the sea
Scenario 2: GOD created man
Scenario 3: Man drowns in the sea

From the three scenarios above, tell me all the atheists in the house...did GOD create drowning? Let's hear how [size=4pt]un[/size]intelligent you are!

First off, I'm a business major. BRICS is just a list of emerging economies- Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa. It is not an organisation or a trade agreement.

As for your claim that Isral is not western, what did you mean by this;
