Please house help oo,

I need an idea of the required documents for a 3 bedroom flat approval, I had already got someone that works for LASBCA to help with the processing (He is actually the same guy that brought the paper from LASBCA saying we are building without permit from LASG), at first these were the list of documents I was asked to provide:

Original copy of Survey Drawing, Architectural drawing, Assessment sheet, Receipt of Payment of Assessment, Receipt of State Certification, Letter of Supervision/Structural stability from a COREN registered engineer & Non Destructive test report from Lagos State Materials testing laboratory.

Original copy of Survey drawing, Architectural drawing, Assessment sheet and Receipt of Payment of Assessment has already been provided, now he is back with a new list which I honestly find a bit sketchy, He is asking for, 2 passports photograph, Original Receipt of Purchase of Land, Original deed of Assignment, C/O, Stamp duty, Oath & Affidavit from high court, My question is that is this new lists of things he gave me truly needed as well or this is turning into something else?, Please anyone that has an idea please help!

I think you should go to LASBCA and find out their requirements. That way, you'll know if all is well or not.

I'm trying to grow grapes here in Jos. Yet to get fruits. It's almost three years since the vines were planted.

A visitor told me about a lady who grows grapes in her Kaduna yard. So I guess they can be grown in many parts of Nigeria.

Please, what is the difference between 32 page standard and official passport?

The standard passport is the green one and is available to all Nigerians.

The official passport is blue and used by officials of the government; officers of the various ministries, departments and agencies whose assignments require international travel.

This is why your country is a shithole. You call this hustling ? This is theft. In legal terms it is called entrapment.

I remember when DH came home vibrating because he had asked some Yaba local government staff for directions only to be led to take a road and was then arrested.

They said it was a one-way road. They then asked for a bribe but he refused to pay and insisted he would only pay at the office. He did this but was bitter, still is, that agents of the state could deceive a citizen like that.

Jos is a bit cold now not hot as you said because I am there as I type. To be sincere with you bro, this is the period I like jos because its not hot neither cold, just moderate but in the midnight towards morning, it used to be very cold to the extent you find it difficult to even take your bath.

Yes, it's sunny during the day (30 degrees today) but cool indoors and under shade. Got a cardigan and blanket on now. It's nowhere near the heat I'm reading about. You are correct.

I used 2 Samsung washing machines in 9 years.

The first one malfunctioned and the replacement part was unavailable. I liked the Samsung product so I bought another. Same story.

I got a Haier Thermocool. It's a basic machine that gets the job done. We are clocking 6 years and I should be able to get the spares if they are needed. I'd suggest you go for the HT.

Single women stop doing audition during dating use the time to discuss these things, family finance and role of inlaws in your life

Very good advice.

Almost three decades ago, there was this brother who believed I would be his wife. Over time, we talked about our hopes and expectations. One day, he told me that my income would take care of our family while he would use his income to take care of a family that was very good to him and had lost the father.

I didn't say anything but became unavailable for anything beyond greetings.

A few years ago, we met. We are both married and his wife had a medical condition he wanted some information about. Along the line, I couldn't help asking him if he carried out his plan to fend for another family while his wife carried the weight of theirs.

He responded that he was immature when he had that plan.

Courtship is the time to sound yourselves out. No surprises.

The only thing I got here is that snake venoms are costly. That is another business idea especially considering that Nigerian leaders are not concerned about it

Some people are into the business. That is why you hear about people who own snake farms. They suppy snakes to foreign institutions which produce anti-venom.

Sometimes, I and my colleagues do read everything you guys post here with a heavy heart and pity for your ignorance towards the real happenings in the theatre of war or the military generally..
That boko haram took pictures of few weapons they captured shouldn't give you the idea that they took large cache of weapons.. what they won't show you is that most of the weapons has no ammunition or is not combat worthy.

There is a clear difference between having weapons and having ammunitions to use in those weapons.. as a lieutenant heading a reconnaissance team of 12men, I'm assigned only 2 drum magazines of 30rounds capacity, with no renewable chance until exhausted.. my men are issued one each... now tell me sire, how many people do you wish to kill with 30bullets? how do you defend yourself with 30bullets with no assurance of a side arm(pistol)??

The APCs(Armored personnel carriers) you see boko haram capture, which are not made to participate directly in combat like the AFVs is not even equipped with the normal M50cal weapons as it should for defense... most of the automobiles are not temporarily in service, that's why boko haram tend to burn them instead of taking them..
out of my whole team, only 7 has rifles and is equipped for combat, the others, their rifles jammed or either went to Kaduna for servicing or permanently out of service.

In order to sound woke or informed, you guys tend fabricate things or make certain conclusions that you think is right which is actually wrong, endangering humans like yourself somewhere fighting for the survival of everybody.

I have a lot of things I still want to say.. but I will stop here cuz duty calls.

Sad. We pray that the fear of God will make the people in authority do what is needed.

I thought they said it was for 9 months - 44 years? Confused nation

They showed up at our church and said 9 months to 44years. Later we were told it had been extended to 59 years. Apparently they didn't want to return to base with the vaccines.

So we went to be vaccinated. But when the cards were issued they insisted on stating our ages as 44 even though none of us who took the vaccine later was less than 50 years old. Our queries did not count.

So we had the vaccination but the cards we have state wrong ages for us.

Can we really trust the data and statistics from these exercises?

Romance / Re: Can You Marry A Lady Who Doesn't Know How To Cook Because Of Love? by lorhema(f): 5:03pm On Dec 19, 2018
PrettySleek:
Ok. Most men will say they can't marry a woman that can't cook, which is fine. I have no problem with it at all! Everybody has what they can and can't do without so who am I to say otherwise? Dfferent strokes for different folks, but as for me, I can't marry a man that cannot cook or some house chores, I feel it's a sign of laziness. If we are dating and I discover it, he will learn how to do them, not just for me but for the entire family. What if I travel and I leave him with the children, what if I am sick? What if I am on duty? Does it mean he would starve? That's bad. All parents should teach their children how to do these things to avoid stories that touch. No woman would use food to punish my brother or my son. Marriage na partnership o! Help your spouse in their responsibilities, it would improve your marriage, I can't allow my husband to provide for the family alone it might be overwhelming sometimes, no be slavery! He should also do the same for me. That's love.

Your view makes sense. I believe it's important for a man to know how to cook.

Unfortunately, even in this day and age, talking with some women, I find that in spite of their education, they feel their sons shouldn't cook but should do other things around the house. Some of these ideas are carryovers from their cultures. So there will be some men who don't know how to cook because they didn't have the opportunity to learn to do it.

I think you might miss something if you insist on ticking that box. My beloved didn't know how to cook but he is no longer a stranger in the kitchen. When I'm tired, he helps out. He's not like my dad who shopped and cooked but he has tried.

You can help your man to understand why he needs to know how to cook and then teach him to cook especially in the early days of marriage when there's just the two of you.

Well, the government of the day believes "soldier come, soldier go... Barracks remain"... What they probably don't yet realize is that soon soldiers might or will stop coming, and the barracks will consequently become extinct.
If not joblessness, what will make a promising young man mortgage his life and future for a lost cause like this failed state.

I believe they know that will happen.

Plateau State indigenes used to be enthusiastic about the army. But in recent times we were told that they haven't been responding like before.

About three years ago, the call to pick up recruitment forms even came from the pulpit.

It's not just rice but mostly anything.....
Palm oil is over adulterated with a mixture that makes it looks reddish.
If you buy already grounded egusi, ogbono; its mixed with fine grained garri.
If you buy already cut vegetable; you have more than one type of veggie in that cut.

Kpomo/Kanda, is soaked in formalin to make it look bigger.
Cattle towel/assorted parts are soaked in smelling dirty water to make them expand .

There are so many funny things Nigerians do all in the name to make profits.

True. A pity.

Do u know maybe they sort some people before getting the product they are selling. Shit dey happen for this country if u dnt know. U always need to bribe ur way out in this country. People doing business will understand beta.

If what you say is what happens, why don't they simply sell the rice at a realistic price which takes their expenses into consideration
. Are they forced to sell their rice at a particular price?

I believe it's just greed at work.
