while i dont know what the dude is like personally, one thing we should realise is that just like you and i,celebrities too have their personal worries, they go through ups and downs and the difference with us is that on days we dont feel up to it,no one will notice unlike a public figure,so cut them a slack however that is not to say that an overwhelming majority of nigerian celebs are proud and boderline arrogant, met jim iyke before and he was in london but im happy to say i gave him a piece of my mind right there and then lol

what you fail to realise is the woman made them have sex in the first place.he tutors children to sleep together so she can sell their babies to rich punters.

that is extremely despicable.
are we really and absolutely sure of the bolded?
what we are running on is the press release which we know can border on half truths and innuendos and sensationalism just to sell their papers, unless the compound is in a bush in the outskirts of the town and massive,i dont see how you can get young men and women to manufacture babies and sell off the production line without people knowing, the news just 2 weeks ago of the woman who took a set of twins off a mad woman was made out by the press as if she was a ritual killer, while in actual fact she was just a desperate woman who had no children of her own and was stupid enough not to go through the proper channel, the children said they were taken care of and had a nice time with her in the short time

@ogidiboy
thank you very much, people will rather have a jungle justice mentality without thinking things through objectively, they have same thing here in the uk including the catholic church who has theirs as well
jumobi1:
lucabrasi is a foolish fool.
the only reply i have you you is im really sorry for your condition
@nobillia
dude i was giving up untill i read your comments, nice one!!i think the jungle justice thing is a desease with us nigerians
Kx:
To think that the kids could have been sold to ritualists was stunning.
However,to read a NL member (lucabrasi) say theres nothing wrong with
what the woman did is shocking.
Would ur statement remain d same if those girls and boys were ur sis and bros?
true, but like i have been saying and others on here have as well, the woman clearly went about it the wrong way probably because of the money she ll make, but the idea behind it divorced from the financial aspect is not wrong considering the same thing is done all around the world albeit in a legal way and the catholic church does same as well, the press saying she was making them procreate in the same venue is really hard to believe and should be taken with scepticism untill proven, you know what the press r like in sensationalising stories
nuzo:
If this point is not substantial, then lucabrasi may be right considering what children born out of wedluck go through in our community; nigeria.
not only that, the endemic poverty will easily make the young girls sell their babies willingly apart from the stigma of being an "after one"
PoliticsRe: How Ogbulafor Embezzled Pdp Funds, Bought Mansion For N700 Million -nnaji by lucabrasi(m): 2:00pm On Mar 31, 2009
who cares really?the pdp itself are a bunch of vipers and the party is a vipers nest, so why should an average nigerian care if he stole 700million or 700 billion from the party coffers?rather the pdp leadership should be put on trial to explain the source of the billions in their account

Those were my thoughts given to what I have seen and read about the man. Mind you, I never told anyone to buy into it, instead i went further to allow myself to be corrected if i was wrong.

In the view of Oyin and Aregbesolas' incompetence to lead the beautiful state; I was trying to make it clear that Osun people could do better than churning out these two.
unless you r judging him facially or you have a pre concieved idea of what he ll be like even without doing any psycho analysis on him,i still believe he deserves the benefit of doubt and cant be compared to oyinlola who has been in governance first as a milad and a 2 terms civillian gov who hasnt done much for the people, the highest post aregbesola has attained is that of a commissioner

i dont see anything wrong in what the woman is doing, getting babies off teenage mothers who are neither interested nor ready to be mothers and giving them to childless ppl,but she should have legalised it and done it through the proper channels, she might not make as much as she is making but far less at least then she would have peace of mind, we nigerians are always penny wise pound foolish, lets see what the appropriate authorities guarding the rights of children will do concerning this

You don't see anything wrong in somebody keeping boys and girls for purpose of procreation for his selfish purpose. To start with where did she got so lots of teenagers from because from the story they are not from that town, though from the story there is nothing like kidnap mentioned but my friends, these tenegers can be charmed, it may sound funny but sometimes is real.

Wonders shall never end.
how many times will i repeat myself, please read my comments in its totality and then come to your own conclusions, especially the bolded parts which is the answer to your comment

Oyinlola lost my respect since he started becoming more of a politician than a leader he seemed to be. But even at that, I see Aregbesola as a very diabolical mysterious tout.

I stand to be corrected.
how can you slanderise a man's name just cause of a feeling you have about him,if you have credible reasons for calling him a diabolical mysterious tout, then fair enough but if you only have a "feeling"then that sounds diabolical in itself.
in view of this are you suggesting none of them is made governor?
PoliticsRe: Judgement Day For Osun Governorship Tussle - Aregbesola Or Oyinlola, Who Wins? by lucabrasi(m): 2:06pm On Mar 30, 2009
while i dont agree with the justice constituting another tribunial rather than completing the job he has started by declaring aregbesola the winner based on the adrian forty evidence and others which he has upholded,it is a step in the right direction and a psychological lift for the down trodden people of soun state, and the ac and their governorship candidate, the most important thing is that ven if oyinlola spends 4 years there, first his preffered candidate would not replace him,and second the people's wills will eventually be made manifest and ekiti, edo, lagos now osun is a wake up call for our politicians that nigerians are starting to vote their conscience

this is not a nigerian or african thing as its been made to look like,a man or a woman can subject his/her partner to such either in the united states, the united kingdom or anywhere in the world, its difficult to know if your partner has contracted hiv especially if you have had no cause to suspect him/her

the bolded parts are the answer to your questions,i never said she was justified, all i said was that she is providing a service. when seen in the context of a country where only 2% of all motherless or fatherless children are adopted,i not only made these comments but clearly stated the solutions or the correct and justifiable way she could have gone about it so what seems to be the issue here, that she should have left the babies to die?
yes she is getting paid for it and also doing some other horrible stuffs which is despicable, but that doesnt change the fact that parents who need children, and are willing to pay loads for them have an avenue where they can rescue a child destined for the streets and armed robbery

Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by lucabrasi(m): 5:39pm On Mar 29, 2009
vanitty:
I rest my case.
What I have realised is that this homophobic people can’t come up with any reason why they see the act as abnormal.
Comparing a homosexual person to a cannibal! Will a gay person ever skin you alive, salt you and start eating you?!
If you going to be so against a practice so you might as well have good reasons than comparing them to indecent exposure
Indecent exposure does harm people. It causes distress to some, might be frightening to others. What two adults do in the privacy of their own home cannot be of any harm to nobody.
Besides, if you decide to kill your friend and eat him, not only will you be classified as a cannibal but it is actually against the law. Read more about “assisted suicide”.
And who is to know if the mental state of your late friend was very disturbed when he asked you to kill him? You see laws are there for a reason.
do you realise that society to a large extent dictates what is acceptable and what isnt?why should i accept that being gay is perfectly normal just because people like you, caucasians and the western world generally say its normal?
the point of all my preamble is simply that there are a lot of actions you can take in the privacy of your home which isnt right, and if the law as majority of us agree with is morally, culturally and sociologically against gay marriage then what exactly is the problem here?no one is saying they cant do anything in the privacy of their homes, what we are saying is that our laws and statutes frown upon such and should be respected as such,i can eat rice and stew with my hands in the privacy of my own home,i can eat my waste in the privacy of my own home but not in public, how much more something that is universally frowned upon
Nairaland GeneralRe: Should Gay Marriages Be Allowed In Africa? by lucabrasi(m): 5:22pm On Mar 29, 2009
bawomolo:
you are sick if you think indecent exposure in a public environment is similar to a sexual act in privacy.

I wonder if you nuts consider oral and anal sex "abnormal". Missionary style seems to be the only positions you holy rollers approve.
dude, like i always do before replying comments, pls try to reply to my comments with a little more decorum, thanks now to reply your comments,is anyone stopping them doing their thing in the privacy of their homes?
no one is stopping them coming to church after all how many gay people have you heard being lynched in nigeria?
even the ones that came to the national assembly, were they beaten or lynched?
where i personally draw a line is legalising it or legalising same sex marriage, that is not right and shouldnt be allowed, after all why do they need the acceptance of a religious albeit constitutional law if not for some perverse satisfaction or devilish insecurity.

i mentioned the indescent exposure ting to show abnormal acts which while not hurting anyone is deemed immoral by the general public, however if you want another example,is dogging hurting anyone?after all they are doing it in the privacy of some bus or caravan,so why do they get told off or arrested by the police, what is the difference between that and being gay?

100 years ago, she woulda been stoned to DEATH.
really?would it have been better if she allowed these girls to abandon their babies on the rubbish heap and soldier ants or wild dogs eaten them, which happens often?
like i said if she had done it through the legal channels, then i see her filling a void in the society

sweetie, murder and canibalism IS AGAINST THE LAW!!!
same as indescent exposure, not hurting anybody but morally frowned upon by the society as they see it as abnormal.

if you dont get it by now then google the german couple who agreed that one of them should be killed and eaten, the victim was filmed saying he was in total agreement and of sound mind bla bla bla, the question is that if being gay is perfectly normal because they are not hurting anyone, then it stands to reason that these guys are normal as well,if you dont get it by now,im sorry i cant help you better than this!!!!!!!

feminism is all well and good, but a woman cant eat her cake and have it,first they ll like men to treat them as ladies, getting the door, paying for meals and behaving with a certain decorum around you,and yet a man who behaves contrary to this is labeled a brute, ucultured e.t.c
also, most sucessful "women" have exhibited manly, masculine traits, besides they have not exactly been a huge fan of feminism,so where are the highly sucessful feminism ideologist, off the top of m head i can think of m.thatcher,c.rice,h clinton, obama, and i dont seee them as being feminists ideologists
