@post at this point,i dont blame the man, after all the people of oyo state voted with their eyes wide open after eating enuff amala in adedibu's compound and collecting 100 naira and bowl of rice, rigging can only work if the margin in votes isnt wide enough,if an aspirant scores a landslide then rigging wont work,so let them stew in the mess they created for next time |
@post what do you expect when it was widely rumourd that akala the present governor was dismissed from the police force for renting out fire arms to armed robbers,of course these robbers who r his customers will still be alive and in touch with him,so it stands to reason they ll need to enjoy the reign of one of their comerades |
@post/poster only one answer for you and yours, DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR ![]() |
@poster na wa for all these attacks o,shouldnt your family members be in the best position to answer these questions you have posed??if you dont want them to go,then table your reservations at your family meeting instead of bringing it on here,im sure we r both agreed that tb joshua did not go to cameroon or whereever to kidnap them and like you have said you have their telephone numbers and they have yours, |
cre8tivity:the difference is an african country where the police and other law enforcement authorities are riddled with corruption and would collect bribes from criminals and set them free, often times going back on reprisal attacks to the houses of these who handed them over,i know a whole family weho was wiped out like this hence they resorted to self help. the other country has no need to resort to self help, because they have a working law enforcement, neither was there any crime or malfeisance committed that will warrant suddenly removing a firearm and summarily executing your own family members, that sounds like a cucoo dude to me,THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO!! @POSTER i dont make the mistake of not looking back when i pass by anybody anytime im in that country, especially white people, same as here in uk too these gys need tighter gun controls and there needs to be a mental hospital in every street corner |
if the guy above can sort you out, then great, but on a general note, youll find it hard to get anyone to give their car out on trust to a total stranger, while you are totally within your rights to privacy, you should note that nigeria is not like usa or uk where tracking devices and all that works perfectly, there s no way for a car owner to trace his/her car in the event of any mishap, hence the reason most ppl will only give out their cars with a driver they know and trust, a better alternative is to inform your friends and family in nigeria and they can ask around, you r sure of getting a car seeing as you r paying for the rental |
FBS:i wonder o,after all anyone is free to marry whomsoever without molestation lol |
Yoruba movie industry
which one is yorubawood again,is nollywood not a combination of the nigerian movie industry again or am i missing something vital here?? |
doyin13:thank you and the feeling is mutual but mine will be ait kay9:uncle na fight??i was only shaking my head and nuifn else ![]() |
AfroCynic:sorry,i didnt see your location before now i get it. nigeria girl most likely yoruba+south east london=, maybe you r the one that should realise that, art is not something everybody agrees on,billions of people all over the world see a single monet or van gogh potrait in different ways, art is supposed to elicit debates and discussions and that is all d guy did,not a one way traffic mindset or meaning that u r giving to it,the pictures are his own depiction of nollywood not an african or nigerian's simple! |
@post thats really cool,at least the next generation r shedding the toga of tribalism and ethnic distrust that has been prevalent and entrenched by our fathers and grandfathers,i must confess ibo girls are my first choice as wel maybe hausa next cause of their personality and manner of approach ![]() |
stupid half baked illiterate nigerian politicians and misplaced priorities, why doesnt he just move the lions to his private quarters instead of making them go through all this harrowing experience? if they dont want it,then adequate feeding arrangements should be made for them and transferred to he state zoo or the nearest zoo |
AfroCynic:honestly, cant you make a point without resorting to insults??everyone isnt meant to line behind you and subsrcibe to your opinions you know, and verbal bullying doesnt work on an anonymous online portal @post artistically, really nice visual depiction but connected with nollywood really dumb and pointless, my surmission is that of a foreigner who is trying to depict nollywood from his/her eyes |
and a whole thread just for this??(shakes head and exits, |
Moves:sent another mesage |
@post how else do you want them to show off?especially the ladies from the tribe we all know from uk lol |
davidif:i tire o,or maybe killing of twins and ritual sacrifice, i just wonder at the sort of comments people come up with on here sometimes ![]() |
really sad, another victim of a failed nation |
shezy:love me jeje, love is a game blood is love ![]() asha 80:here we go again,so nollywood is only ascribed to yoruba movies??lol disease:they are coming out of the wood works, |
like one of the contributors said obama better be wary if he ventures anywhere near chesire lol, i certainly will be very careful anytime i pass through that area from now on |
@bawomolo rather than calling us bigots and behaving like those from the middle ages, the pertinent question you should ponder is that who determines what is aceptable and unaceeptable? the western media? once upon a time,we didnt believe in GOD nd they told us we r barbarians, savages e.t.c now that we believe in GOD and according to the lords word these things are sins we are being likened to savages from the middle ages ![]() |
AfroCynic:fantastical nonsense or whatever that means, the point of my preamble is that adress people normally with decorum,as infantille comments wont help your argument in a discourse. you v lived in london most of your life, congratulations and good for you,but bestiality is widely practised no? im suprised you didnt comment on the others i mentioned are they not generally accepted as well? the reason i mentioned them is to show a result of fundamental human rights gone bonkers,so please dont tell me about sticking to the truth, anything you disagree with google it and see if its true or false. and that is the best you can come up with for justifying the unfair treatment of gays, lesbians in a supposedly tolerant society??anyway i mentioned it to prove that its not quite alien as you think for a government or society to be influenced/governed by religious leanings/religion even in a country as the united kingdom, overwhelming religious influences are everywhere you look in the government on all levels. who says that gays are not being tolerated in nigeria?the fact that they were allowed to live and do their thing without being lynched, and allowed to vent their grievances in the federal house shows nigeria is tolerant, what we would not do is include something that is alien to us and our culture/religion just because america,uk e.t.c says it is right with the constant bombardment from the media!! and how are we absolutely sure that they are operating in their full mental capacities?cultures, moral values make a people and once a country gets bullied into watering them down or capitulating then, they are on a sure road to perdition, in spite of the fact that dubai wants western holiday makers bla bla bla, what happened when 2 couples who are adult individuals of sound mental capacity indulged in what was a mutual action? the government laid down the law!! are the dubai govt too governed by corrupt politicians? |
AfroCynic:first of all, whoever you are,if you cant reply to comments in a matured manner, then desist from making all these infantille and juvenille retorts with me!! the point of the comment is not about the way our politicians behave, but what is acceptable, few examples,in spite of the general perceived acceptance of gays and lesbians in the uk for instance, how many prime ministers or cabinet members are gays?? in the british police force which i have been opportuned to do some research on in my degree programme, how many gay and lesbian officers are heading police stations or hight posts or even being treated fairly?bearing in mind that is a country supposedly fair and tolerant, the point of this is that, even though there is a high level of moral laxity in the uk,the fundamentals and what is acceptable is still tied to christianity ,as for sleeping with girls old enough to be their children,it is simply a vice which like other stuffs is immoral, that doesnt equate to justifying gays and lesbians which is far worse. well, how does the country treat its neediest?bearing in mind you are lumping everybody together? now you are blaming the rest of nigeria, including a lot who are doing an awesome job for the failings of some leaders. you are asserting that gays and lesbians are being denied their rights, going by this,i guess the law should allow minors who are willing to go off and marry men old enough to be their great grandads, girls hauled off to be prostitutes(by their own free will mind)should be allowed children going out of their own volition to be housemaids should be allowed e.t.c oyb:i wasnt making a personal reference to yourself just generally on the need for us to examine ourselves,i still maintain that in a country where religion is the moral compass both for average nigerians and the government, homosexuality, bestiality and other vices of these nature which we were not born with but smuggled into our country has no place and must be nipped in the bud before it gets out of hand, now there is dogging in western countries where you can have sex with your partner in a public place, bestiality, objectum sexual e.t.c |
Seun:if refusing to be dragged down by the moral decadence and warped western values is being a hate filled baboon, then i am one and proudly so, high moral values and judgements, most times are not popular, especially in an age where virtually the media is controlled by the west and we are injected and bombarded with "their values"dai;ly and on rolling news, |
What is the problem then with consenting Nigerians demanding a law in line with democratic values?
the problem is that homosexuality is a vice which is devilish, demonic and evil aberattion imported just like tokunbo cars, neoliberalism, moral decadence e.t.c from abroad which has no place in our country, culture the saudi arabians will not suddenly allow pork eating because its popular in the western world neither will they allow the holy grounds of mecca and medina to be used for a porn movie simply because many people will buy the movie @oyb well, there are religious extremists who cannot be excused, but the point im trying to make is that, religion plays an important role in every sector of governance in nigeria hence the reason for my former assertions,we dont have any conclusive survey or empirical research to fall back on,but an overwhelming majority of nigerians rely on religion either islamic or xtianity in governance and to a lesser extent traditional worship, remember the video of the traditional worship of one of the governors in the east which was discountenanced in a court of law, the point is that religious influences is all over the government |
dae:trust me,nigerians are wiser now, nobody told genevieve to take a leave from music when she saw the signs, same as omotola and the others |
afam4eva:please dont insult your ethnicity by connecting them to the monumental farce and failure called igbowood, where exactly will you start to measure the sucess?? maddoxoj:im sorry sir/ma but i ll advice you to remove the tribal or ethnic bias and look at the issues constructively and objectively, tribalism has destroyed everything in nigeria, lets kick it out of nollywood |
ill keep an eye out,an individual like him should be locked up and i suggest you post this on facebook and hi5 as they vcan achieve a more wider coverage |
@post GOOD!!now hopefully they will both remove the noose round our necks and allow us to have cheap cements, and other basic staple foods and a refinery of our own, including the repair of the existing ones free market economy |
