As Blacks we have no business with such religion that only attacks everything African and black...to be a christian is to hate ur own identity better? don't make me consider u a big fool. look at the continent. .a sorry hell. Before Islam and christianity we built magnificent nations with advanced civilizations like Egypt, Kush, Nubia, Numidia, Aksum, Ghana, Oyo, Ife, Benin, Kongo, Zimbabwe. .. Africa got worse and still has worse to come until we flush the self hatred, ignorance and stupidity that these religions come with look how you say things. ..when Yahweh promised Abraham there was nothing like new Jerusalem or end of the world attached to that. ..stop ur lies, are you a pastor? Cus I kno pastors lie without regret do you think I'm gullible? |

Lol. You are very ignorant. When did this Yahweh give the Hebrews the land he promised Abraham? Pls read Gen 15:18. Learn the size of the land between the Nile and Euphrates and tell me when Israel ever controlled the landmass Lol. They failed? Same way Africans have failed by worshipping foreign gods? And bringing curses upon the land... Look at Africa since Christianity and Islam... A continent of failure. Learn from the bible at least that one thing.... religion is evil. christianity, Islam etc are the worst things to have happened to humanity. .especially black africans
both religions have made us into mental slaves. ..worshipping dead jews and serving mythical outrageous "Gods", insulting our ancestors, abandoning our culture and traditions, taking away our pride as blacks and members of our various ethnic nations, the idea that everything foreign is better....these religions have destroyed our civilizations, turned us to people without direction. ..I mean if you need foreigners to tell you about your Creator and believe them over your own ancestors. .then you have a serious problem |

There is a difference between serving God and practising religion. Man has indeed forgotten God. Drop religion and embrace truth. When Jesus appeared to Paul(saul b4), Paul could not even see Him. D only tin Paul could see was Light; even, the brigtness of d light blinded his eyes immediately. We mortal humans are too weak to see God face to face but we can feel His presence when He's around.
So, what u need for now is His presence and that can only be possible if and only if you are born again. If u are'nt born again it means u are not part of His kingdom and feeling His presence would be far reached. Why not gimme something that really makes sense and not all this fairytale? |

lawani: In Abrahamic religions, especially Judaism, the God is fidgety and running after people for worship. In Christianity and Islam, the God is not only fidgety and reactionary but also violent and sadistic for burning people in hell for unbelief. In Ifa, the God is the onlooking father of all trying desperately to see us through, guide us, show us secrets like a father and that God is not fidgety neither is he agitated and he takes no sacrifice from anyone. Once you take sacrifice or DEMAND worship, you are a deity, hence orisas, eeguns and etc are all deities and not God. God in Yoruba thought is not god, there is only one God who asks for neither sacrifice nor worship or bribe. Orisa, eegun and etc are not gods, not all English words can be translated to Yoruba and vice versa. Orisa are notable people while Eeguns are ancestors, ori is yourself, then there are other natural things trees, rivers, ocean, mountains, forest and etc all deified and are deities but they are not God. God is Olodumare. Thanks. Ah! you are misunderstanding english words here. Deity and God are the same thing deity from French - Deus. and God from Germanic "Gott" |

You know a dude has lost the argument when he resorts to ad hominems. A mere challenge to prove your point cannot be countenanced by someone claiming special knowledge he wants others to know about! That bloke in typical African fashion expects no opposition to his creative fantasies. Its the transliteration part that got me laughing Abiriyamu Anything to soothe the feeling of inferiority in the face of overwhelming Arab and Jewish cultural hegemony! I understand! Abiriyamu is our father Abraham the guy would invent anything to make himself feel good it's all inferiority complex, anything but just let me feel among my beloved jews he doesn't realize, Abraham is just anglicized form of "Avrhm" pronounced "Avraham" another funny one - Ebora is yoruba name for Abraham. where's the consistency? giving too much attention to the "b" and ignoring the meaning of the name for similarities in sound classic technical approach of pseudohistory and pseudolinguistics |

MetaPhysical: Your task here should be for a single purpose. Dr Oduyoye has made claims that Yoruba has footprints in AfroAsia, disprove these claims with substantial evidence and zero out any possibility of Yoruba existence in that region. Why didn't you answer my question? I'm sorry I cannot see, from your opening posts how "Dr Oduyoye" declares Yoruba footprints in Afroasiatic languages. from your opening posts, he merely proposes similarities with different languages - Igbo, Arabic, Akkadian, Hebrew, Yoruba etc. . there was no authoritative declaration that Yoruba language is Afroasiatic let's see this: "Hebrew “rosh” (first) to Arabic “ras,” Aramaic “resh” and Akkadian “rishu”. And to Yoruba “Orisha” Hebrew -Rosh means "head" "leader". I take it the other words in those languages mentioned being Semetic languages would mean the same thing as in Hebrew. which in yoruba is "Olori" not Orisa. Lamurudu is yoruba rendition of Nimrod while, this is absolutely correct. but the knowledge of a "Nimrod" came through the quran that was brought by Muslims not earlier than the 18th century I've disproved these claims metaphysic, please bring more if you have. |
