So you mean to tell me there are no Hausa indigenes of Kwara and Kogi? You haven't met an Hausa (wo)man from any of these two states? That you haven't been there or that you haven't met someone form there who is Hausa doesn't mean there aren't any. Se o ye?
I know people with hausa origins in Kwara but they are Nupe or Yoruba today. ..you ever heard the term "cultural assimilation"?

Anybody still holding hausa identity in Kwara is a recent settler not an Indigene
Same for the other states you mentioned

LOL! I'm not an atheist but there was a day I had an argument with a friend.
I was like, "do you know that some people don't believe in God?".

He replied, "who in his right mind won't believe in God?"....the person must be insane.

I shaked my head... I wonder how they/he'll behave when confronted by an atheist.
That ur friend is insane sha. . Have you told him that?

kakaki is instead in yoruba,Saraki is still not a yoruba name there are different dialect in yoruba but av never heard of saraki eniyan before, maybe from your side it's possible, but the ilorin Yoruba that am aware of, has nothing like saraki eniyan.
Listen Saraki is a Yoruba word just like Gambari (the word for fulani) ...jst like Seriki
What we say is that they are borrowed words from the north

English language is 80% borrowed words

Start using common sense please

If the Sarakis say they are Fulani (which is not hard to believe giving the history of the North) then we should all respect
that.
acknowledging ur fulani ancestry is different from being fulani

Take the case of the Nupe Etsu who is of Igala ancestry, does that make him an Igala man?
You people should use ur common sense

Capital NO!!, especially because this is what white American really want. America is an immigrants country and African American has contributed immensely to is development, its simply their birth right and they should not throw it away in the name of ancestry heritage. I believed a lot can be done though by the african america in identify with african in general apart from taking african names.....lol, for example there is a yearly ODUNDE festival tomorrow in Philadelphia which has been described as the largest African America street festival. This festival started about 40 years ago and it has been getting bigger ever since.
Actually there's every reason to keep your ancestral heritage. .. African Americans need to never forget their home, take regularly trips to the motherland but stay in America and do the black race proud

If you understood my comments very well, the history of the Yoruba race is so clear that it has its roots from the Bini kingdom and the artworks of odua been discovered where of the Bini origin which were a lot older.
If you are willing to learn I would not mind to help you see how it all came about but if you are still in shock and in doubt.it is understandable.
History of one roots is not easy with people.some people will insult, some will cry etc but as people get to be more aware of the facts.they just accept and move with their at least it is history!
N.BB.you need to see Igbo reaction to their history!some are in who k but noticeably get the facts from their real Igbo history custodians and they become appreciative and move on!
You are just saying nonsense. Yoruba is your problem always giving you lots sleepless nights, attacking it's wonderful history and attempts to distort is your goal.

It's a known fact that Bini art(Ivory and Bronze) came from Yoruba..

You stupidly came here claiming yoruba have a saying about Oduduwa being a slave from mecca. .. this is just too low even for you dumbasses

Migrate back?

The second biggest wrong that the Whites in America have done to the Blacks there is making them believe that they have no claims to America. You never hear White Americans talk about a Back-to-Europe Movement.

Acknowledge your African heritage, but understand that America is every bit yours as it is the whites'.
Exactly! Become masters of where you were once slaves and helped build with strenuous labour

Lol, troll. I never discredited other Nigerians in any of my posts. Ghanaians collaborate with Nollywood to produce movies because of the wider consumer base for Nollywood movies. This collaboration only started as recently as the last couple of years after Nollywood had garnered popularity and success. The growth of Nollywood between the period 1992 and late 2000s was spurred on by mostly Igbos, and I say that bodly. I won't underplay the contribution of Igbos to Nollywood just because it makes you insecure and envious.
All through this thread you have downplayed the contribution of other Nigerians. ..
Do you now admit that ur previous claim of Nollywood movies are igbo movies" is false?

You shamefully lack common sense and common reasoning. Your line of reasoning is appalling. Nollywood movies are partly Igbo because English is spoken but because of the culture portrayed, actors, Igbo language words used here and there and equally English because of the English language spoken in it. I have commonly referred to them as English-Igbo to accommodate the English language spoken and Igbo culture portrayed. Is this so hard for you to comprehend?

Papa Ajasco is a Nigerian TV show and can as well be regarded as Yoruba because of its tilt towards Yoruba culture, though it attempts to be neutral.

Your lack of preference for Igbo movies makes no meaning at all. Who cares about what you think anyway. What you think is insignificant. Millions of viewers all over the world LOVE Nigerian-Igbo movies, and the consumer market is outstanding and awesome. Yoruba movie producers struggle to make profits from their movies that they have resorted to pirating every single famous foreign movie possible from Bollywood and Hollywood just to manage to stay in business. And some people would be hailing this as 'creativity'. grin

There is piracy everywhere. There is piracy in Hollywood, there is piracy in Bollywood and what have you. Piracy is common and thrives in rich movie industries where there is huge money to be made from pirating movies. Hollywood spends huge sums of money each year to fight piracy within its industry. Movies that are commonly referred to as 'cinema dubbing' are pirated movies by individuals that go to cinemas to record yet-to-be-released movies and release ahead of time, to make their own share of money. You wouldn't find piracy in tiny little industries where there is stagnant growth and no money to be made from it. Who would make money from pirating Yoruba movies anyway? Ologun Eru? Ojo? Those kind of movies?? What is the gain to it? Nollywood is where the money is, and piracy is expected.

For your reading pleasure, educate yourself on the thriving piracy going on in Hollywood and Nollywood.

Piracy within Nollywood should not be an exception.
grin grin you just try so hard wit ur insults but really you are the one showcasing lack of common sense

I always know you never accept correction but that doesn't mean I allow such gross fallacies

what igbo language words? grin grin you call 1 igbo word in every 100 words a sign of it being an igbo movie ....guy your mumu no get part two
so any movie wit "abi" "oga" must be an English-Yoruba movie grin
there was this movie with Ngozi Ezeonu and Patience where they chanted "Iya Iya" wow I never knew that was an English-Yoruba movie

Mr man call certain movies (wit igbo theme) English-Igbo as u like that's not my business. ..but saying Nollywood is Igbo property is as foolish as saying Igbos own Nigeria cus not all movies have igbo themes and 2nd non igbos have put a lot into the industry to make it what it is (and as a Movie fanatic, I can say it still needs improvement, especially when talking igbo culture - all the culture we see are harsh conditions on widows, nothing deep and beautiful about the Igbo culture portrayed in the movies)

Nigerian Igbo movies ? the only one I know is Nkoli Nwa Nsukka. .nice movie tho but please don't say that nonsense about people loving Igbo movies again. ..how many Igbo movies even exist?

The bold is a complete lie...you have a habit of pushing in bits of lies in ur posts when you have nothing to say

While your igbo folks do all the pirating u are here commending them (Nice one, maybe you are into the business) ..when the AGN had cried out to GEJ on this matter since they have no idea what to do on their part
