candidtalk:I don't know you from Adam smd I must say. I'm not writing out of hatred or bias but utter dismay at your level of ignorance. For the sake of your loved ones or children ( if you have any, you need to get some education) and learn how to argue objectively and factually on platforms. First, our elders say, " He who does not know where the rain began to beat him, will likely not know Where it stopped." Do you know how many Nigerian or Ibo lives have been lost under the direct supervision of the British crown, by proxy? In 1929, protesting market women in the east were massacred by soldiers under the instructions of the Crown. Between 1967-70, millions of Biafran lives were killed and the Queen never said a word and neither dis she make any move to stop the war nor condemn it. All because the British Crown has its eyes on the oil wells in the Bight of Biafra. And so, they'd to support the Gowon led govt who answers to their every bidding...over the killing of human lives. See, you'd better start reading your history books. It will do you a lot of good. |
aariwa:She's one lucky badass. She's always climbed her way through man know man. She got into NTA through Pa Enahoro, despite being unqualified. And, na Pa Adesanya pushed her into the Nigerian govt. Since that time, na wind just dey carry her and her blunder from one door post to another. |
Nigeria is about the only country where, when you look at the past, you start to feel it was better than the present...and you begin to wish the past was the present. Is that not a curse? |
Like father like daughter. These folks reason from tribalistic prisms. Her father, Awolowo never believed in one Nigeria. It was he who said, " Nigeria is a mere geographical expression..." And, stupidly, the Nigerian govt still has his face on its currencies. Does that define one who stood for nationalistic goals on his life? And here, she's still all about her tribe and another tribe and "they" Who are "they?" |
See how fat. Once naija girls land here, dem go begin chop food like say na hunger drive them comot naija. I'm not joking at all. Our girls eat anyhow. |
Joshua is smart enough to know Tyson wants to kill him. Dude loves hus life above money. |
PoliteActivist:Yes. You're right. They carry out there job respectfully. Not jumping into people's cars as if na fight or bullying everybody with guns. Education is at the root cause of most of Nigeria's institutional maladies. |
rusher14:Don't misinform people. I live in the states and for a long time now. A policeman will never jump into your car in that aggressive fashion Nigerian cops are known for. Here, a cop will stop you and most times, he would have back up. He walks up to you, asks for your ID and vehicle papers...and before this, he will cite you your rights and make sure your hands are placed on the steering, and not hidden. Depending on his interest, he could check your trunk. And also, depending on your cooperation, if you're uncooperative, that's when his back up will join him and they will ask you to step out of the car. At this level, it's on the phase of arrest or a higher suspicion of an offence committed. |
Seriously, this man should be arrested. |
Charly, you senior am but he's lived a fulfilled life, being a governor in his lifetime. Charly, what have you achieved in your older 70 years life? Old man who still thinks he's a teenager. |
Can you see the sort of ideas that occupies the minds of most of our youth these days? It's only opio and nothing more. Later, they'd start dragging Buhari into their palava when life's realities set in. Nigerian youths are children |
Clasipigi:Tinubu needs your services |
Why he come gum the woman hand like that? The woman kuku hold her handbag tight. No fam for personal belongings. |
Maybe they're trying to tell you to go get your PVC so you can be Obident and Yusful next year. |
So says Unilag President. |
All these edo boys who wan travel by any means. |
All the symptoms of a failed state. Obi failed to mention this in his speech at the NBA conference. Nigeria remains a joke. |
A certain word from the tune rings in my ears as "NEPA". It still does. I don't know if I'm the only one that hears that. Strangely, this was in 2000 at my corper's lodge, anytime the song played on air...not too long after, NEPA would take light. |
It was called "The ship of dreams" And, oh yea, the love between the lady and Jack was real. She was about the lone survivor living at the time the ship was recovered...and her memories of that lost time came back, flushing. |
Na now you wan do rally when dem just ban Okada riders in Lagos. You no even put mouth for dia mata for Sanwo Olu's office. What sort of okada rider's chief you be? |
This funny failed actress of the 90s living lonely in UK after his failed writer husband abandoned her. I don't even know what she does in UK after brandishing one fake degree few years ago. Some of us know her sh.t very well, so she shouldn't come up here with crass posts on the people's choice. |
Pandev:Don't mind the foolish Barcanista. I remember how our group dragged it with him in 2015 and how he later came begging, sending me messages on my email. He was dead broke for long years since Jonathan left. I'm surprised to see him suddenly awake. Maybe na Vampite afterall. We remain Obedient 2023. |
BetterNija:I may be blessed, but you are cursed under him as your President. Make una continue to dey suffer. |
Very bad precedent.. That's how Tinubu will award top govt contracts to MC Oluomo. |
God1000:Smoking isn't right for anybody, not even ladies but I don't know if I'm alone- There's something uncannily sexy about midnight and you're in the bed with a lady, scantily clad or wholly nude, and there's that slim cigarette in her hand with the smokes drawing rings in the air as you take her from the back. This used to be my fetish as I can recollect it back in the day. Sunday nights were pure gold. |
Who curse Nigeria like this? Every year, they're looking for energy solutions to NEPA problem? And, can you check the picture? It's like NEPA take light sef Going to "pitch energy ideas" under "pitch darkness" Mtcheew |
Sheriffiq:I don't mean it in the bad way but, go and learn how to pack snow. Canada has 8 months of winter and Oyinbo dey pay people to pack snow from their domot wella. |
He avoided fellow humans but still, na humans go come perform autopsy on him. Where's the sense in that? |
She no fine reach the beautiful models that covered Ovation magazine of the 90s. Though I find Dele's actions atimes as infantile, he's has really been consistent in this calling. A lot of his peers have fallen by the wayside, but still he kept on. That's more than human strength. It's God's grace. |
Does Reno ever mind his own business? |
