Tribalism is the bane of the Nigerian electioneering machinations. What some people don't know is, at this point in time; aren't people fed up with poverty? To start with, what are the root causes? The average graduate can't find a job to take care of himself or his loved ones. What are the root causes? Poor infrastructure. It's only in this country that darkness has been normalized. Solve this NEPA problem, and you'd see how jobs will gradually spring up. Jobs will create itself and themselves. One candidate is good at creating motorpark NURTW jobs. That's not the job we are talking about o. If you're not tired of backwardness and poverty, go ahead and vote for the same old politicians who've been in govt for the past 30yrs. I rest my case. |
TheEnforcer:Quite sadder is, he's been doing that for a very long time. None of the Nigerian guests he had entertained as guests on his show never saw it fit to address him. Maybe they're were blinded, ignorant or afraid to talk. From Chimaamanda to Davido and Burna Boy. They all laughed to his silly jokes at our expense. I'd been tackling him on his Instagram page till he blocked me. |
These are the people that stupid Trevor Noah would see and capitalize on for his Nigerian scam jokes. The Nigerian ambassador to US should call that comedian to order. His jokes on the Nigerian identity is disastrous to our youths in the diaspora. |
Olatunji1929:Atiku likes to work with people he can easily dominate. He knows Wike would be trouble for him. |
okeysoninv:Of cos. The Nigerian NEPA problem can be solved. We have all the resources required, even more than Egypt. We have solar power, water and air. This was what Bola Ige tried to do and got killed for it. Young Nigerians who prayed for a better future should better thrash their tribal sentiments and take charge of their destiny for once. |
It's never good to insult anyone, more so an elder. It's only wise to vote any candidate based on his antecedents. If the present sufferings isn't enough reason to vote based on reason, go ahead and vote based on tribe and sentiments. We all know the person with the utmost capacity to fix the Nigerian economic woes right now. |
aycorporat:Theo Danjuma and co... |
MyFlair:That's where you missed it. Do your research again, Google can help you. ObJ made him the minister of mines and power in 1999. Those forces moved to push him to Justice, which they did in 2001, but Ige still had his leg in the Power sector still going on. |
aycorporat:It's genuine. The Omisore angle was purely a coincidence . I'm sure those generator clique goaded him into acting up prior to the real hit on Ige. They' were the top army brass folks then. |
MyFlair:You speak of something you're ignorant of. The Omisore dimension was purely a coincidence. Ige was the Minister of Power at the time and was actively in talks with foreign experts who were billed to solve the Nigerian power problem once and for all. PDP couldn't hang the charge on Omisore because he knew the truth, besides OBJ needed him for some other interests then. |
Echoban:Question is, how old are you? Go and dig up Newswatch magazines and TELL from the early 2000s. Maybe you were still in Primary school then. Anyway, the Nigerian reading public is scourged with collective amnesia. |
aycorporat:He was killed because he made contacts with German companies who were ready to move to Nigeria and solve the NEPA problem. The greater mistake he made was, he confided in OBJ on his plans. By default, OBJ leaked Ige's mission and those forces who had sworn to keep making money through imported generators killed this man off. |
Funny thing is, Nigeria doesn't need politics to fix its economic woes right now. What the country needs is a fixer, not a political gamer. Tinubu doesn't know what time it is. This politics he's playing is Wazobia stuff, same script played by past politicians and once in power, they'd start fighting with people they dined with on their way up |
Any youth that votes for APC should have his head checked. No country develops with frequent power outage. Is it Tinubu or Atiku you think has the mindset to restore this anomaly? Your guess is a good as mine. |
I don't think he's an APC man. |
If Nigerians have sense, they wouldn't vote for anybody that has anything to do with Buhari for the past 8yrs. But, tribalism won't let them use their senses. Make una vote Tinubu and expect wonders. Stupid people. |
What are they doing? They're sharing cheap apples. |
I hear some girls dey use this format now to find man. To brand themselves as nice snd giving...once you marry them put for house, dem go dey dash that thing out like rice and beans to the needy niggers outside. |
Nigeria is finished. How can any mind expect either Tinubu or Atiku who have been in the corridors of power through decades of lifetimes to turn the Nigerian economy around for the better? These two are parts of the ruling elite who created these present woes. But, it's a democracy. Folks will as usual vote along tribal lines and expect tomorrow's wonders. That's ok. But, nobody should complain about untold hardship in the future after voting in someone or people whom they already knew their antecedents prior to voting. Tribalism or ethnicity doesn't work the economy |

Nigerians expect perfection from any person at the center. Nne, nothing do you. Always speak as you'd naturally sound. It's a plus special if you're more enlightened on issues, widely read and speak with confidence...and that, anyone can do in any accent. Your originality is special. Never lose it. |
Shakira looks boring on a good day. I no blame the guy. |
Tears for Love, featuring Keppy Ekpeyong bassey |
There was Dana crashes in 2005, and Sosoliso. Which ones are they talking about in this long epistle? |
I've always loved this guy's unique music. His talent is rare. |
Good for Johnny. I just hope he doesn't fall for another witching beauty in Hollywood. |
Arabs naturally hate black people. They say blacks come from the Devil. |
They were undoubtedly masters of good music. But, as the saying goes; too much money into a good soup can make it watery. Too much money entered their heads at the height of their career and they split. The whole world was at their feet, and begged them to regroup for everyone's listening pleasure but still, they refused. This was in the 80s and 90s when sound minds who appreciate good, intelligent music still dey. So, na now when indomie/Instagram generation whose constant hobby is noisy music and anything shaky shaky dem wan come sing intelligent songs to? Abeg, ABBA; you folks have enjoyed good old money and long old long life which is rare for your mates these days. The best you guys should do in this age is to open a music school aimed at re-engineering the styles of today's shallow music, full of beat and tempo with no deep message(s) |
He's trying to explain how finished Nigeria would be if he becomes President. That's why he finished his blabbering talk with a clap of his hands, "Pata pata..pata. e don finish" |
baralatie:I see. The Devil himself at work. |
