I have read about couple of recent pages of this thread and I cannot help but put my contribution to this thread. This thread is about NSE stock and I guess I have at one time made some contributions on this thread. I am a forex trader and a technical one at that. I have also learnt one or two things from you folks here and I have great deal of respect for you here. I actually became bored at one time when I discovered two people, a lady and another guy in a hot romantic relationship. I decided to quit following the thread since then because na their post only I dey see at one point.

Back to the point I want to make about meshpips. I don't think meshpips is here to scam, hoodwink or become a huge inconvenience to you. I think he is only here to make contributions by providing possible directions of stocks through his knowledge of technical indicators. I think he wanted to prove to the good people on this thread that he is good and can be a great asset to guide you all in making informed decisions on the best price for your stock.

His approach may be unconventional, his intentions may seem sinister, he may come out as overbearing, domineering and lousy but I think he has good intentions. Yeah, he want to earn your respect and he is been trying to earn it. Please guys, I don't think you lose anything by at least having him make his contributions at least to guide you in making good stock decisions. It is left to you to make at the end of the day. His opinion can be opposing and could be discarded but at least try respect his opinion and give him the chance to express them the best way he could.

I see him as someone who is trying to build himself up to a level of autopilot trader where he could confidently say he has been able to use his wealth of knowledge and experience to make tremendous success not only in forex trading but has also made success out of legion of stock traders. Two heads they say are better than one. Please let us not just discard his bunch of audacious and unconventional rhetorics. Diversity can be fun. Thank you.
There is a man called fxuser, I use his input to streamline my picks but he has disappeared if meshpip will take his place his approach is wrongest........I knew how much I have made from his input and guess what they were simple, one liner and for free.....:

If fxuser pops out tomorrow for a fee..... I won't mind a tenth of my portfolio in his hands

I have asked those questions. But what confuses me is the inflation to use knowing that these monies are not going to be used in Nigeria.

So the real yield should be = Yields(returns) from stock - inflation in their own country - % of currency depreciation .

You can't use Nigerian inflation because the monies they bring are not spent in Nigeria but abroad. This is what I think.

If a Nigerian invests his naira, you should consider inflation when calculating real yield because after everything you get, you still spend it here at home where a high inflation takes the gains away from you.

I'm summary, where is there zero exchange rate and their home country has negative to below 2% inflation, the yield will be around 12%
I have this idea and I believe U might have calculated it.........Buy a stock in naira, never sell and convert all dividend payment to dollar using the parallel exchange rate @ the period it was declared.......in dollar terms is it possible to recoup ur investment After 10 years.......... Using zenith for example........

We as a people don't want to hear the truth...

PMB is a mistake and if we keep quiet...it will repeat itself and even worst in 2023!

Nigeria I know has never gotten better since childhood!

After 4years the damage down to the economy would be irreversible!

GTB Nigeria's biggest bank is chasing people up and down to take loan at lowest cost...yet people are scared because the economy direction is not clear. And you think all is well!

Even the rate at which GTB is given out loans is killing fintech loan start ups!
I laugh becos democracy gives the masses the illusion of power, democracy makes the populace think they have the power of the ballot box

Congratulations bro. I bought a lot of lands on the Lekki axis in 2009 and sold years later at returns in excess of 500%. These days, everyone is into land buying/selling, hence I pulled out, plus the stress of family meetings here and there + all sorts.

I wish you the best of luck with your acquisition.
For those buying Land and fencing it around Ibeju Lekki axis....... Remember an ultra modern refinery is about to be situated @ your back yard coupled with the fact that we are in a country that pays lip service to the environment........When that refinery start full operations, Its a combination of severe Asthma, respiratory disease and Lekki floods that will chase people away, also note that the refinery will use a great deal of acids polluting ground water more,,,,,, the agencies that should be active now are brain dead and selfish........ I actually see a change in the location of elites in Lagos from Island may be to mowe Ikeja axis......

The refinery will be an existential treat......

Please when that land appreciate in value please sell it off.......

You can check out cities that have refineries and the sort of life threatening air pollution they face especially those in the thirld world..........

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by maishai: 2:47pm On Aug 08, 2019
My Opinion in what is currently Happening

Going by the Hierarchy of money.........The Ultimate money currently in Nigeria is Crude oil controlled by the Nigerian Government... Below Crude oil we have US dollar( CBN reserves), all US dollar in relation to Nigeria are just promises to supply crude oil..... Below the US dollar we have Naira controlled by the CBN in conjuction with Nigerian Banks, all Nigerian Naira are just promises to pay US dollar........Below the naira we have securities like stocks bonds and bank deposits, all securities are promises to pay naira

In times of crises especially world crises as is happening now, You will now understand the value of each one in relation to the other, The current trade war between the US and China is treatening our main money, China has built itself up as a low Cost manufacturing Power house and Trump is going right to the heart of this matter, the US wants to take manufacturing off China not back to the US but to other low cost countries like vietnam, sri lanka and India, the rate manufacturers are moving out of China currently is alarming...... The Chinese Government has to respond by devaluing the yuan to keep manufacturers moving out

What has these got to do with Nigeria and our Money.......It is our money(crude oil) that powers manufacturing, the fall out between US and China is slowing down manufacturers as they contemplate moving out of China or Staying back, many have cut production quotas, and building new facilities dont just pop out in a day slowing down the demand for Oil

Finally as God always bless this our Country, the fall out of all international politics always plays out in the end to our advantage long term.......where ever manufacturing is going, It will still be powered with our money (crude oil) and demand will still come back to optimum levels.........All our economic institutions even the CBN are powerless in the ongoing saga as such They are all Price takers......

As an Individual retail Investor, the higher up the chain in the hierarchy of money you hold the better for you , right now in the short term, but long term prices will still come back to normal, you can start converting higher money back to lower money......

Zenith and GT are definitely going lower, They let you take the temprature of international Politics as many foreign institutional investors are here.........How Low I dont know but they will bend very low.........If you are buying stocks right now please have in mind to cash out in 5 years time

Caveat.......I'm PRO US and would love to see a Pro China analysis

https://community.oilprice.com/topic/7005-china-devalues-currency-to-lower-prices-to-counter-new-trump-tariffs-but-doesnt-help-here-is-why/
What direction will China devaluation of currency affect Nigeria economy, will it be negative or positive?

https://oilprice.com
This falling in crude oil price , call for concern, if oil price fall below 50 dollar per a barrel, that mean there will be fire on the mountain, because it will definitely affect Nigeria economy and stock exchange market. If crude oil price pick up this week and move back to above 60 dollar, that mean there is no cause for alarm, but if it keep on falling, and goes down below, dear friends cash will be the king, because part 2 of bonanza period will be loading. Naira will be facing another challenge of devaluation, because with lower amount of dollar that will be generating from sell of crude oil will force dollar to be scarce..

The best solution is to reduce the influence of dollar, by engaging in currency swap, and make other currency to same popularity like dollar, most especially in the international exchange market and transaction.

I pray for oil price to rise again.
I just came out of a rudimentary class on banking economics ......I must tell you that those guys that preach nse movement is tied to price of oil are not lying o....... Money get levels and hierarchy and the money that will rescue this market is still abroad......... Institutionally, the only wealth currently in Nigeria is Oil......Oil is tied closely to the Cbn, who in turn control the banks......the banks control every other thing in the economy..........

Men.....you best bet this period is to hold foreign currency......No body is coming here with oil price threatening to go below $50 dollar.........

Zenith my love just subbed #18.............with the China us trade war breaking new crescendo.......zenith must touch #12 by December..........

Pls am a novice inherited very large volume of stocks but the value is fast dropping. I've approached a number of brokage firms who all become desperate once they sight my dematerializaton form. only excepton was ibtc but they require 5millon cash deposit to trade with them. even though my stock is worth way more than that. All others have been disturbing me with calls and messages. I just need general advice from gurus in the house. I've read a lot of scaring things about stock broking world such as unauthorized sales of shares etc. From my deduction one needs to thread with caution in the broking world. So as not to loose all that money. A firm billed me 10% for indemnity in an attempt to make so much money from my stocks while ibtc only asked for 1% of stock value Kindly advise me so I don't jump in bed with a crafty brokage firm. Also can I open multiple accounts account with different brokage firms just like bank account or I can only move my account from one firm to another like pension.

As Dangote Sugar enters the Sub #10 range It is now in my horizon to accumulate this stock........ I bought @ #6.15 and sold at over #13 about 2 to 3 years ago and have waited paitently for it to come back to my buying range.......But I have a few questions to ask........From time immemorial as i read their annual report they never disclose this main buyer of sugar from their factory but disclosed it for the first time this year(NBC and Seven up), what could be their reason.........

I have been expecting the backward integrated sugar plan to reflect on their cost of sale but it still looks to me like they still use more imported material for the sugar.......might be a sort of blessing in disguise as i now have opportunity to reenter at lower price..... but why I kind of expect the blessings of okomu oil and presco to fall on Dangote sugar....

Finally, I need TA guys to smoothen my entry price.... I sabi this market I buy today at 9.9 and in 6 months It will do #5.... Now im just starring it on my screen na so e go dey move within #12 range.....
