emmanuelewumi:Sir earlier this year Shamsudeen usman(GCON) left as director....... Any reason for this, |
The news of pucheros joining Dangote is definitely a sad one........I think someone has to challenge Dangote on Antitrust issues cos he is fighting dirty in this cement game......The business of Cement is about volume sold......Who else to join Dangote Arsenal @ this time but one who possesses the secret of ur competition.......worst part is that makojun just came out of retirement to pave way for this man....... 1st quarter 2020 will determine if I will still hold on to Wapco......Aliko does not pity competition o!!!!!! He snuffs life out of them |
swilo:Old news......He is to resume as DC Gmd by feb 1st 2020.....Only implication is that he is taking his 30yrs experience in the cement industry to Dangote, |
locodemy:Nigerians only scream @ the price of oil......Cement price increase nko......Cement price is tied to so many things too that affect the average man such as house rent.....My landlord already served notice of house rent increase this time last year but we dodged.......This time around the increase is here to stay |
Quote me If you have got Kindle Oasis or any e-ink product |
emmanuelewumi:Hmmmm, This is very incisive....... |
emmanuelewumi:but why make him CEO for only 1year+ reign...... |
dipoolowoo:Something Fishy is goingon in Dangote Cement........... In 4 years you have changed MD/CEO 3 times.......................... Kind of like Dangote Cement has casualised The Position of CEO....The way Pucheros left larfarge too is fishy but what kind of salary or package was used to lure this man after the Good works he crowned at Wapco..........................................So many questions, so few answers..........................Only time can tell |
aremso:Oga pls spill what u have heard on the ownership and how it might have been brokered, I suspect amosun the most as during the campaigns of last elections, femi otedola was courting the likes of Dapo Abiodun the current governor of Ogun State, mind you Dapo Abiodun chairs Hayden petroleum from the best of my knowledge........, |
aremso:Amechi, Amosun, .........Pls spare us the suspense and name him let nsempa members add up what can be going on |
@ wapco Pucheros reign as CEO is over, we would see what Abdul-Azzez has to offer, the old ceo clean up the table for the new ceo to build upon,I think Larfarge is gearing up to take Dangote head on and compete with them on every metric, even Dividend Payout...... I see them payout dividend of @ least #5 in 3 years time...................................... Caveat: im not monkey hunting o |
Biafran4life:Africans and finger pointing are like 5&6, If given the opportunity would you have done a better job..................Obama is among the best presidents the US has produced, he made the best out of the situation that George W.Bush left and was re-elected after his first tenure by Americans to continue the purpose of Americans ...... America wants to relinquish all doubts that they are the supreme world power at this point in time in all other aspects of nation building other than Military, thats why the card fell to Trump......... Funnny enough all politicians are the same, the same intrigues going on in Washington is similar to what happens here in Nigeria, see how they are fighting dirty is comparable to APC and PDP........Only difference is how it is reported to viewers |
OakPearl:It's a company with parents in Netherlands.....it surely must mean something good in Dutch..... It's also a multinational with presence in many ports around d world....... |
RabbiDoracle:Ogami, I now believe the best time to buy stocks is during d period of bad news......Na so I bad mouth Access during merger proceedings but 1year+ Now, it has delivered nearly 100%, |
Godlylifeoneart:The brewing industry is in a mess and all firms here are trying to clean up their books.......I'm currently waiting for Guinness and international brewery to touch rock bottom then I will join in.....This administration seriously is not favoring them....... |
I feel the best way is to set up a payment system where a third party probably opay or bank holds the money down while both parties wait for fulfillment of agreement......once both parties are contented......credit and debit are both made to respective account albeit for a token......The problems described here reeks of 18th century English market place.......It was solved by banks and it is only banks that can solve this issue..... Let them stop thinking of new ways of making deductions from our account U guys can talk to some of this new financial setups, they are all just looking for free money and not being innovative meanwhile there are real genuine problems that when solved will yeild them good profits.......... Emmmmm....,,,This is Nigeria |
RabbiDoracle:Chai......without govt patronage education is dead...... I remember back then in my school days there was a hugh used text book market @ Oshodi......today with cheaper printing tech pirates run amok |
anybody with iphond 5s or 6 |
To Oga Ogg, current price and other good F.A in the house...... I'm currently eyeing Dangote cement but @ what price will u touch it......Going by cement sales volume this year has not been a good year for the coy, I believe this will trickle down to dividend payment, I believe they will pay about #12 dividend this year............Also this share buy back that the management is proposing to carry out, when you look @ it critically, What are you buying back when you "Dangote" owns 90% of the company........ Taking a cue from FO, they bought shares back so as to change the name of the company, what could be up dangotes sleeves |
The fantastic rise in neimeith looks strange.....They are definitely up to something like raising money, probably going the route of fidson hence the fantastic report they have been churning out lately......I still prefer stocks who the Men championing their course have National importance.....Neimeth does not fall into such category.......I will rather look the way of Vitafoam or Racunity&pet as they have shown consistence in churning out wonderful result......, |
My worry with Oando is this, Why are they not considering Organic Growth ??After Acquiring an asset for COP deal which turned out to be Toxic, Who know if Exxons exit will spell Doom, considering the fact that most European and asian Cities are phasing out internal combustion engine cars for electric by year 2030, also Climate change Bruhaha I feel the last Global Oil crisis that shot up the price of oil to about $200 a barrel was orchestrated by "Big Money" to dispose off Assets Globally like Conoco Philip and Wales Team fell for it and Bought at an outrageos Price, What could it be that Big Moneys have seen that is making them Dispose off this assets Globally. Recal that The Saudi Prince owners of Saudi Aramco are now willing to Share their Oil profits with everyone hence their IPO, Exxon are selling off, Chevron has exited Nigeria, Total is winding down operations....... In all this Wale is the only one looking for money to acquire this Assets......Dangote right here is Nigeria is fighting tooth and Nail to finish his refinery and sell products to us all, He hinted in last press briefing that He will only buy crude @ international Prices and never into deals with NNPC....... Any way I dont trust WALE, but I know the price of OAndo is about to go Magical...... I am OK with 40% profit with my position here........ Oando will never be a medium term not to talk of a long term investment for me |
PETERiCHY:how are we going to key in to this................. There is definitely money to bemade here short term |
Kolping:Cashless Nigeria will end up being a curse, every one just want a piece of your pie...Govt is just taxing both parties to any transaction |
Kolping:The average Nigerian is already over taxes...The problem is that there are too many rogues eating this tax before it get to govt cofers.....We Nigerians pay so many indirect taxes @ checkpoints, schools, govt offices and parastatals, shops, and at all public spaces....They all go unaccounted for into private pockets |
DeRuggedProf:That's how accountants in conjunction with Nse confuse most of us......... Now Fbnh come turn bucket 3 |
onegentleguy:Hmmm, U really love to read the tiny fine prints, while we just gloss over the front pages...... U r really a blessing to this thread..... |
onegentleguy:Oga off, he is actually right....as a street man, a bucket is full when water begin pour comot.....na bucket 5 go first pour water for ground |
PETERiCHY:So many stocks like this on the Nse( oando, forte oil, Mrs,conoil,JB, cadbury, wapco, fbnh, transcop)........... But some are undertaking the pains of rebuilding their houses back....... This is why I really love to management gossip and rumors, as any of this companies that get it right again can deliver over 500% in the next 5 years.............. |
Mcy56:My feelings though Once Dangote cem can execute their share buy back, it's price range will go up........ This will trickle down to Wapco..... The main fuel for Wapco will be their first and second dividend payout after this restructuring period as this will give institutional investors a better yardstick to price it.... |
Nairaland is a big market place and there are monikers that have stake their name locations and reputation to build a thriving business here........why in the name of ifa will I do business with someone with an unknown picker in obodo oyibo.............people in the tlc biz raised all d red flags, someone went far digging out d day this classiq guy registered and warned people that he is a setup......lets all stop throwing blames....id classiq scam u, u r to blame........just count your losses and move on and learn the lesson |
wema returning good........................once it does 50% i seke |
currentprice:I smell wema..................patiently saiting for wema @ .51k |

?? . After all, it does not make any sense at all to invest in the rights issue shares of the company with a bad performance and lose your hard-earned money. Hence, CAUTION is advised before you make up your mind to go for the rights issue of shares.
