The news of pucheros joining Dangote is definitely a sad one........I think someone has to challenge Dangote on Antitrust issues cos he is fighting dirty in this cement game......The business of Cement is about volume sold......Who else to join Dangote Arsenal @ this time but one who possesses the secret of ur competition.......worst part is that makojun just came out of retirement to pave way for this man.......

1st quarter 2020 will determine if I will still hold on to Wapco......Aliko does not pity competition o!!!!!! He snuffs life out of them

Old news......He is to resume as DC Gmd by feb 1st 2020.....Only implication is that he is taking his 30yrs experience in the cement industry to Dangote,

Good morning folks.Welcome back to the market.

Today, Dangote cement,Wapco and Ccnn will begin to attract investors. The price of cement has increased from 2,250 to 2,500.This means there is now Demand for cement from the construction and building companies.

Others stocks that we should watch out......JB and other stocks that has one thing or the other to do with the above companies.

The bullish market is here to be led by Dangote cem.......index
Nigerians only scream @ the price of oil......Cement price increase nko......Cement price is tied to so many things too that affect the average man such as house rent.....My landlord already served notice of house rent increase this time last year but we dodged.......This time around the increase is here to stay

Makoju was appointed as the acting CEO and was also saddled with the responsibility of shopping for a replacement of the former Dutch CEO who resigned and went back to Netherlands.

Makoju was a Non executive director of Dangote cement, but was brought back from retirement to manage the affairs of the company till a good replacement is employed
Hmmmm, This is very incisive.......

INTERNATIONAL BREWERIES..... I searched the web all night, looking for a convincing information on International breweries rights issue. Most independent foreign analysts voted for investors to sell out the shares and bail out ASAP.
The only selling point was the acclaimed largest brewery in sub Sahara Africa, powered with renewable energy (Solar)
Performance was technically bad for both Technical and fundamental analysts
The rights issue proceed might be used to offset the debt incurred by AB inbev on the breweries.
At the end of the exercise, the status quo will remain.
Finally,i have this to say.
It is important that the investors of international breweries must not get tempted to the discounted rates at which the right shares are issued by the company. They must do their homework well in advance and must only invest if they are completely sure that the funds raised from the rights issue will be used for the betterment of the company, doubtfulhuh?? . After all, it does not make any sense at all to invest in the rights issue shares of the company with a bad performance and lose your hard-earned money. Hence, CAUTION is advised before you make up your mind to go for the rights issue of shares.
The brewing industry is in a mess and all firms here are trying to clean up their books.......I'm currently waiting for Guinness and international brewery to touch rock bottom then I will join in.....This administration seriously is not favoring them.......

I feel the best way is to set up a payment system where a third party probably opay or bank holds the money down while both parties wait for fulfillment of agreement......once both parties are contented......credit and debit are both made to respective account albeit for a token......The problems described here reeks of 18th century English market place.......It was solved by banks and it is only banks that can solve this issue..... Let them stop thinking of new ways of making deductions from our account

I'm currently eyeing Dangote cement but @ what price will u touch it......Going by cement sales volume this year has not been a good year for the coy, I believe this will trickle down to dividend payment, I believe they will pay about #12 dividend this year............Also this share buy back that the management is proposing to carry out, when you look @ it critically, What are you buying back when you "Dangote" owns 90% of the company........

Taking a cue from FO, they bought shares back so as to change the name of the company, what could be up dangotes sleeves

My worry with Oando is this,

Why are they not considering Organic Growthhuh??

After Acquiring an asset for COP deal which turned out to be Toxic, Who know if Exxons exit will spell Doom, considering the fact that most European and asian Cities are phasing out internal combustion engine cars for electric by year 2030, also Climate change Bruhaha

I feel the last Global Oil crisis that shot up the price of oil to about $200 a barrel was orchestrated by "Big Money" to dispose off Assets Globally like Conoco Philip and Wales Team fell for it and Bought at an outrageos Price, What could it be that Big Moneys have seen that is making them Dispose off this assets Globally.

Recal that The Saudi Prince owners of Saudi Aramco are now willing to Share their Oil profits with everyone hence their IPO, Exxon are selling off, Chevron has exited Nigeria, Total is winding down operations.......

In all this Wale is the only one looking for money to acquire this Assets......Dangote right here is Nigeria is fighting tooth and Nail to finish his refinery and sell products to us all, He hinted in last press briefing that He will only buy crude @ international Prices and never into deals with NNPC.......

Any way I dont trust WALE, but I know the price of OAndo is about to go Magical...... I am OK with 40% profit with my position here........ Oando will never be a medium term not to talk of a long term investment for me

Nigerian oil company Oando PLC aims to raise fresh capital over the next two years and repay debt used to acquire Conoco Phillips’ Nigerian assets, its chief executive Adewale Tinubu told Reuters.

Tinubu said Oando PLC has paid over 77 percent of the acquisition debt and plans to pay-off the rest in 12 months, which would allow it to resume dividend payments. He said Oando would be left with total debt of $300 million.

Chai! Why Wapco?
I know its being recommended severally here but with the fall in cement coy prices, do you still think its a good buy at currentprice, or to wait for pull back first?
My feelings though

Once Dangote cem can execute their share buy back, it's price range will go up........ This will trickle down to Wapco..... The main fuel for Wapco will be their first and second dividend payout after this restructuring period as this will give institutional investors a better yardstick to price it....
