U know what ...I see beauty as what is within and what is "with- out - in"....Tiwa Savage is beautiful inside nd out...I love her personality. So to me..she is beautiful ! |
Wife nd guy obviously use to be intimate, guy hasn't moved on and he's trying to cause friction in her marriage to may be have a chance with her again...the sensible thing for her to do now is to return the gifts to d dude nd remind him that she is now married and should not send that kind of gift to her again...or any kind sef #QED |
Don't get me wrong but it seems my Christian brethren are kinda stingy - er during their own celebrations like xmas nd eastern..I had ds discussion with a Christian friend just today that compared to Sallah nd other celebrations where I have countless parties to attend, Christmas always seems to be dull as most of 'em prefer to just cook for "me and my family alone in d living room things" or visit nice locations with d family offcuz...so where the party @ my christian brethren.. Note : This is not to slant any religious group, The OP is as tolerant of opposing view as they may come so all Religious Bigots really need not comment. Thanks |

aManFromMars: God, demons and Satan love to breed in gullible minds.Though, I aint no Atheist, I agree with some of the points u have raised here...I think Religious people can free their minds from some of this rubbish they hold their...I know their is a God but I believe he must be tired @ how gullible some have become due to religion..I also believe religion and reason can go in tandem |
It is safe to say d op has entered one chance...Nigerians can see behind d illumi - logic dt really makes no sense. |
It depends on the current exchange rate. Think it's 172 naira to $1 (not sure cos of the recent drop in the naira's value) But land on banana island costs abt 680 million to 1.1 billion per plot. The cheapest houses goes for about 1.4 billion While the rent is abt 250 million naira per annum, but since u must pay 2 years upfront, the least rent u can pay is 500 million naira. Dont for get you have to pay what they call service charge which is abt 2.8 million naira. This would chater for security (which is quite tight), Waste management, landscaping etc. Life is quiet and nice there. P.s been there courtesy of work with Etisalat
Haba, U just pulling up figures from no where here,The island is expensive but not this expensive,to describe d size of lands as a "plot" would be misleading, instead its d actual size of d land nd location (lagoon view nd d rest) dt determines d price. |
Dr2great: Rubbish! Toto when iyanya don Bleep tirebecause ur stuuupppid self was fanning them while they were doing it abi.....mscteewh |
Almost every topic on nairaland these days can be turned into an avenue for tribal bashings and all...really pathetic...anyways, I be confirmed islander (isale eko) awa aromi sa legbe legbe, I schooled in ikorodu and I can say here dt if there is any cultural practice I think yorubas should do away with, its Oro ish...back then is secondary school, oro festival in ikd meant we had no class on these days (yipee) but as I grew older, I saw the silliness in restricting peoples movement just because some of you have this religious/ cultural stuff you do, it is wrong, do ur stuff but you have absolutely no right to tell me I have to stay in doors and not come out (effectively imprisoning me) just because you want to dance around naked and shit, there was one time I was driving my mum from ogun coming to lagos and we had to take a detour cuz of heavy traffic, we entered a village and were informed oro was going, see my poor mother on panic mode, she had to hide behind d seats and covered up in her own car just because of oro..WTF !...there are so many instances where one would just have to go out during their festival and it could be matters of life and death...don't get me wrong, my cultural defending omo odua, everyone is free to practice whatever faith they choose to,its even a plus for yorubaland, but denying others the God given freedom of movement is just plain stupid, same with the rubbish enviromental sanitations saturdays of Lagos ( but at least dt na just for a few hours and early saturdays are usually slow) we can manage....my point is. That oro guys should find a way to do their ish without infringing on others the right of movement. |
Etisalat started operations between June/ July 2008...I am sure of this cuz something significant was going on personally then...def not 1st of November..op has got ds info wrong.. |
What i see in this pictures is their really good looking Airport....Compared to MMIA or Abuja Airport...our should be referred to as a Bus Terminal |
I hail u Zubby, I hv an example of how. Brainwashed some r when it comes to religion, I saw today...the gullibility that religion has helped in flourishing , wuz on a bus today and a guy preached d usual...hell fire, evil forces, and the likes and then right there in d bus said he saw a vision that 9 persons have to sow a seed and dt by the end of the year, they wud be uplifted beyond their imaginations.. D seed was the equivalent of 5 loaves of bread ffor some orphanage charities, he pointed out some peeps( I wuz hoping hn go point me out sef..ha ha ha) and cn u believe people dropped money, even some that he no see their vision o, one dude dropped like 100 naira nd he said he cud return it cuz it wasn't enough sef...I was laughn and shaking my head all thru...see mobile scamming helped by religious gullibility...I believe in a supreme being but God knows am not stupid...Zubby..fire on joor |
Yes, they also skype, twit, bbm, facebook msg, yahoo messaging and all, in short they also have adopted 21st century communication... |
This is the type of Adventure i would like to embark on...but instead am stock in this job that pays but sometimes bore me to death...oh well...maybe next life then |
Not a musician though , but Binta of the Binta nd friends fame served in OGUN state, Batch B 2012 |

I wonder o. |
@ZUBBY, this your level of Paranoia no get part 2, you believe everybody you meet is out to harm or take advantage of you, well it's good to be careful with strangers but when it borders on bn constantly paranoid, na wa o, u'd never know how many nice people u've lost by bn dt way...anyways seems to be working for u...still a fan . |
Mayany: Is he related to Evans Bipi?Or David Oyedepo ? |
This is serious...well, we heard from sources on the ground during the elections proper that APC was sweeping at the pools only for the Final result to return PDP as winners...i think this guys should be pushed to National Consciousness. There is still HOPE for Nigeria |
Simple, the world and universe is just too intelligently made to have happened by chance ( the big bang theory) surely, there is an intelligent being at the helm of affairs...call him what you want....He is Allah. |
A lil bit of education..this report originated from a south korean newspaper and we all know they aint friends, both side are always trying to outdo one another in reporting negative stories(real and imagined) True, the kims are crazy but even the websites reporting this can't confirm if it really happened, even his father wasn't this mad (most reports about him were grossly exaggerated by the west ofcourse) |
i entered ife for the 1st time too on july 13th, took sis for post jamb things and just like the Poster, i was blown away...i felt like going there for some course or something, very stimulating environment....the funny thing is with the tress and thick forest, one would think Cultism would thrive there but nope, it does not rear its head in that school...even though i finished from LASU...i cant help but also hail...GREAT IFE.. |
Funny thing is that he didn't even contest his extradition...dude won enter USA free of charge nd visa..good for him But when he gets to Guatanamo ehn, he'n go hear am |
Wetin Dilish nd Oshimole get in common....abi she don come render some services ni ? |
anonimi: Maybe we should start by asking if Amosun's government and legislature have adopted the FOI ActI'll have to say something about this debt issue some of u keep hammering on, debt in it self is not a bad thing, as long as money borrowed is used for wht it was meant for and not mismanaged...borrowing money for development purpose is more than ok, debt would naturally be serviced when investment start to pour in (due to d infrastructure provided) so stop bn shallow wit ds debt is bad mentality ish..The USA is d most indebted nation in d world and also its largest economy |
