and companies makes BIGGER profit when workers are motivated (by their boss) to do an even better job... therefore, their HARDWORK and LOYALTY must be rewarded proportionately. 3-5% is appropriate, 15-20% is generous.
just because Nigeria is filled with useless good for nothing bosses, does NOT make this boss "extraordinary".

do you actually think that giving back (to the employees) 3% of the profit made that year, is being "generous"?! when many companies out there are giving up to 10-15% back to their workforce?



why would you compare the actions of this HIGHLY profitable private company, with that of the ones who are closing shops?! its not called a REWARD for nothing. such bonus MOTIVATE staff and their loyalty to the company. so companies who make the numbers (at the end of the fiscal yr) stay in business, those who dont.... oh well!

let us not forget that HILCORP is the largest privately held oil and gas producer in the US.

one of my stockbroker sent message to inform me that they will close on 18 December 2015 been next tomorrow and to resume on 4th January 2016, for Xmas and new year celebration. I believe other stockbrokers may close on the same date with them, and resume also on the same date with them.

that boss had already REWARDED these same employees the previous years $35K each (or $50K down payment on a car), when the company did good. as any boss would know that if your employees are happy and believe in the company, then they will work better.
so such reward system helps the company in the long run.

your way of thinking is the reason why so many 9ja companies have no clue AND are filled with employees who dont give a damn about the boss nor the company itself.

Even with that, his generosity is massive. Not all bosses will go all out and give such huge amounts to their employees after recording a huge profit margin.

I'm planning on leaving my parents church to eckankar but I will wait till I graduate so that nobody will disturb me when worship my God I'm leaving the church not because its real or fake that's not my biz I'm leaving because I have some burning issues about my life I need to find answer and this my pastor aint helping matters I need answers to life experience not sugar coated talk cos life no easy, its a free world and God is real

they start planning for their death. Don't you see dome people as they grow older they become more committed to church activities. So when there is a church crack that has not been sealed up properly it will manifest once more.

I don't like my mum's church because even if you are sick nobody I repeat nobody will come visit you or at least call. No encouragement @all

the cracks will still come to bear when they get old and start thinking about where they will go when they die. Sometimes I wish there was nothing like church and wish everybody could just worship in the comfort of their homes just like morning prayers, and then get on with your life.

same issue with me bro, I am also still single because the lady I loved wanted me to port from catholic to CRM, and I could not see myself doing that. And I thought of us doing court wedding and damn the consequences then I remembered that at old age the religious cracks will come to bear once more and that was the end.

This is a big time issue nowadays! I am still single because someone I love wanted me to port from my catholic to Deeper life Bible church. Being a catholic since my childhood I vowed that I can never try it. If I should ever, it should be my forefathers way I would take. But 3 days ago, my DBC friend told me she cannot marry a supposedly church member who engaged her 'cos of his behavior. We Africans' worship of God is moving very fast, from paganism to orthodox to penticostal to bible-only to fry-your-hair to etc. because of what I don't just know.

i disagree jor! the new church the person is goin to, is also some people's parent's church...however when the time come, the youths will go out to find their own church. will they also be leaving cos dey dont want to hear the truth? hence if its about not wanting to hear d truth in one's parent's church, it will surely be told in another person's parent's church. however what u actualy call truth in churches dese days is actualy buzzybody!

Because their parents churches speak the truth, tell them what they should hear, not what they want to hear. So many churches today are speaking what the congregation want to hear not the other way round.

From this day i have decided not to buy a single unit of shares till the price of crude oil is determined.low oil prices means low stock prices.it is better i invest at the end of february and collect dividend in fews days after than to pursue air.

I think we should ask at what age should one be able to make a residual income of at least one million Naira on an annual basis. I think 40 to 45 years is okay, if we have a job, and we have a deliberate plan to invest part of our income. Residual income is what you make from interest on your deposit, dividend from stocks, rent from your property, or profit from a business that does not need your presence before it operates.
I have a lawyer Uncle who made more than 20 million Naira dividend from his stocks and another 8 million from rent in 2011, and he still has his law practice which is still functional. And the man is not a Senior advocate of Nigeria.Will be 50 years this year.
