sreamsense: OP, believe me, it seems you have nothing beneficial for you to do with your time. If you waste your time carrying out this analytical report, of what benefit is it to INEC and even to masses? Will they use your result to validate INEC own or what? Please, I beg, time is money, use your time wisely for other productive ventures that will add value to your life and family
See you the op maybe a data science trying to works on data's why not asks questions the reason why he is doing all this
....ask questions is the least of intelligent things he could have done. Someone gave simple analytics of what the pattern of voting in Ondo might be telling us, one would have expected he engages in useful discussions like
1. Alexi's spread in interiors and can it be an attestation of his performance in say rural communities ?
2. All top 3 contenders did well in their base. Do people still vote persons or performance / perceived competence/capabilities ?
3. Could Jegede + Agboola have come together and upstaged Aketi.
4. Are we beginning to see voters taking their fate in their hands and vote leaders in their own interest

Your father is the one who is idiotic. Will you keep quiet! What do you even know? Northern Nigeria are trying so hard to monopolize the oil industry by pushing away foreign companies like Chevron using increments in taxes to enable Dangote refinery become the sole operator both up and down stream refining and soon drilling and you are hear talking nonsense! Thunder fire you there if you ever quote me again! Idiot!!
The problem with NL is that it is filled with bunch of empty idiots like you.... nonentities who are absolutely empty, lacking in knowledge and daft enough to think they can fool people. You do not know anything about Oil and Gas business, I doubt even if you know where Chevron is located anywhere in Nigeria.....

The underlined is just as laughable as the trash that it is. I cannot begin to imagine what level of education below secondary school certificate did you manage to attain. My only advise for you is that you stay out of discussion you have no knowledge of. Stop forming knowledge and coming out daft

Wahala dey for my Naija people. I'm guessing this is a joke. If you are serious about this, read my previous comments about sticking to facts not hear say.

MIDSTREAM: The ‘midstream’ segment of the oil and natural gas industry refers to anything required to transport and store crude oil and natural gas before they are refined and processed into fuels and key elements needed to make a very long list of products we use every day. Midstream includes pipelines and all the infrastructure needed to move these resources long distances, such as pumping stations, tank trucks, rail tank cars and transcontinental tankers.

DOWNSTREAM: The final sector of the oil and natural gas industry is known as ‘downstream.’ This includes everything involved in turning crude oil and natural gas into thousands of finished products we depend on every day...
Bros,

You definition (without reference) is wrong. Refining is Midstream

bestmutiu2019:
please don't mind my bad English, please I need you to help me or advice me on what to do before I kill someone.
My name is ade second to last born in a family of 5,my mum first and second born were male follow by a girl then me and my jnr bro that is ma mum last born
The only girl of my family that is my sister married a guy this guy is so rude and mannerless I don't know maybe it was because of the little money he has, fast forward they had their first born a boy, then two years later my sister gave birth to twins she deliver the first one by herself then CS for the second one,as Almighty Allah pleases my sister died the 3rd day she gave birth to her twins that is November 2017.
Although my late sister husband lost both his parents so those little girls are with my mum she has been taking care of them since then,so one issue arise when one prophet told my mum that they should do this 1,1. tribal marks for those little girls to prevent their late mother from disturbing them in which my late sister husband decline,he came back the 3rd day September 29 2019 that he has come to claim these little girls that he has already paid for their boarding school that they are going to boarding school, twins that is not up to 2 years, meanwhile their first born is not staying with him a boy of 4 years old he says that he should go and be staying with one of his street uncle.
We accept these little twins started their boarding school in the neighboring state, like two months after then when mum go and visit the twins at the boarding school, they says my mum did not have any right to visit these twins because of the instructions their father gave them,my mum cried like say tomorrow no dey.

Meanwhile the first born that is staying with his street uncle he also order that man not to let any of us to see him.
PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO,I TOLD MY SENIOR BROTHER TO TAKE ACTION THEY COME UP WITH NOTHING,PLEASE I NEED YOUR ADVICE,COS I CAN KILL THIS MAN
With due respect to your feelings, you cant do him squart....
1. By law, he has every right either to allow or deny you all access to his children.
2. How on earth do you think you can impose your beliefs on him? How can you even mute the idea of tribal marks on children that are not yours?
3. You have betrayed his trust...and that is why he's reacting this way. He will do everything to keep the children away from you all, cos he doesn't trust you all not to put marks on his children against his wish (if you have not done so already)
4. Better be careful confronting him, else he deals with you....

@valentineuwakwe,

It is important not to rely on Nigerian Journalist who either as a result of comprehension deficit or their foul intentions changes the narrative and tries to give it another meaning. The part you highlighted was never the essence of his message, but to show the enormity of the challenge in the fight against corruption. The main thrust of his message is below

The Vice-President said, “The fight against corruption is nuanced and hydra-headed, it is not going to get easier by the day; as a matter of fact, it will get more difficult by the day and many will become discouraged in standing up against corruption.

“But it is our duty both as individuals and institutions, especially in developing countries where corruption has such a devastating effect, to ensure that we prioritise the fight against corruption and continually devise new ways and new approaches even as the hydra-headed problem itself continues to manifest in different ways.”

The discos always default on payment. They claim the prices we currently pay are not market driven.

The FG put that link to keep the sector going. A sort of subsidy.
I think it is more of guarantee than subsidy. NERC on the other hand are the subsidy agent. The Discos ab-initio were not financially competent to run, they never wanted to invest in metering but wanted to keep collecting funds from customers under the estimated billing cycle.

Power cannot stored. Once produced must be off-taken. NBET is that plug that guarantee that power produced is paid for hence GENCOS can continue to produce. They are a temporary arrangement till market parity is attained

Very true...though my problem with NBET is that it's existence means that technically speaking there is a 'subsidy' on power...which makes it difficult for DISCOS and GENCOS to raise funds.
Then you do not know fully what NBET stands to solve. I wonder how NBET's existence translate to subsidy, much more when our market is not mature for a willing-buyer-willing-seller yet, how do you think all the dumping Discos resorted to when they could not take all power from GENCOs are resolved ?

TSTV is a classic example of keeping your plans to yourself........they made so much noise and their competitors silenced them
That in part, the other is that technology is about to wipe them all out. DSTV is also going down soon. IPTV has bridged all these gaps and we hardly need all these satellite TVs coys. Even content owners get to sell with better models where there take-home can be based on the performance (number of streams and views) of their contents rather than one-off pay.

Please I need advice. I lost my Dad over 2 months now and he hasn't been buried due to the pandemic. My Uncle's are all in Lagos and can't come back.

So after the lockdown was over we decided to go to the village.. On getting I discovered that his shop was open and all the money going into the first Uncle (first son) account.. So I called my uncle because he told me it was locked and he was saying did he need my permission before to open the shop and i decided to just control myself because i like peace and i decided to go to the house in the village...

On getting there I called my uncle and he told me the keys are with them in Lagos ... That it was waybilled and i said ok and went back with my brother and sister.

Fast forward today... I got a call from someone in the village that my Dad's burial death has been fixed and i was wowed because as the first son i haven't been told yet by my uncle's. So right now i am about acting but i need advice.
1. Who is with the death certificate?
2. If you are, involve the authorities (police/Military). Take control

Greenbullet:
I hear guys saying all girls are gold diggers at any small request, but why refer to a girl as a gold digger if you can not care for her needs.

Many people venture into relationship these days and most male partners do not understand their role, one basic role is your ability to provide for your household, if you can not do this then you are not a man but a weakling, if your female partner request for money most times it is not to "gold dig" rather is it to test your financial capacity and reasoning.

I wonder how some guys think "if she loves me she won't ask for anything". Excuse me are you all right? She loves you and intends to spend her life with you so she is trying to assess what your financial limits are so she can add to it or know how to request.

Imagine a boyfriend not being able to pay for his girlfriend's hair or even buy her a new shoe or even just give her money to buy foodstuff, and saying " am I her parents?" Well you are more than that because the moment you asked her into your life, you also asked her needs and accepted her as your responsibility.

PLEASE STOP DATING IF YOU CAN'T LEARN THE MAIN responsibility ATTACHED TO IT
This is got to be the most dumb and unintelligent BS I've ever read on NL. I do not even know what trash I should dumb it, toxic waste disposal?

Well I have no atom of sympathy for them even though I am from there knowing fully well that they will make same choice tomorrow claiming smart yet they have been doing same thing since 1999 yet expecting a different result.. TRUTH is every Igbo man in his mind knows buhari is a good man because If Buhari was Igbo and went through the same treatment at the hand of a section of this country believe me every Igbo man know what another can do.. We do things with impunity.. I swear that section go hear I am.. I am just saying the honest truth it will hurts some people.. But its the truth..
EZIOKWU KA MU KWURU.
1. I am not even bothered about what they choose to think or not. What I will not see addressed is their proclivities to misrepresent facts to suit their whims. There are some things that are just outrightly ignoble. How can people mask the fact that the same foundation laying ceremony was done in Bayelsa State a month ago, and lie as if it is only restricted to Bayelsa. I know these people are of depraved minds, but at least we owe it to posterity and our children that telling the truth is the way of life.

2. Another sacrosanct fact is that PMB is president. People need to deal with that. There has been presidents and there always will be. An alternative for this people can include banging their heads on the wall for all I care........

3. I wonder what kind of willfully evil-minded people these ones are. We are talking of improving the health sector and saving lives, these people have problem with it. I guess they prefer looters.
