This is not a good score card for Asiwaju. I know he doesn't believe in statistics but it's glaring to all that the nation is under the grip of kidnappers milking poor people even poorer and in some instances killing their loved ones to force them into paying ransoms. Meddling in traditional institutions by government is repulsive. If they are that useless, government should just cut them off the little subventions accrued to them and use such resources to develop other sectors. |

That's the problem with crime and criminality, once it starts, it spreads like bush fire in the harmattan. Kidnapping for ransom is now the new gold rush for criminals because prompt action wasn't paid to nipping it in the bud when it started. I think a special court to swiftly dispense with cases of kidnapping within 7 days should be setup and those found culpable should executed by firing squad. Impressive . If the tempo is sustained against these bandits in coordinated and simultaneous attacks on their hideouts, we may be seeing their end in no short a time. However, a field drone operated by our troops would have been very effective in tracking those bastards and helping the ground troops to concentrate their fire instead of what we saw. I would wonder how he/she got that maturity mentality at such a young age. AI will revolutionise tertiary education the way we know it in the not too distant future. Have you not noticed that some courses have lost their relevance already? The era of going to the university to read just anything so that you can boost your CV is gone. Its disheartening This looks like a targeted kidnapping. At this rate, citizens may join the government in relocating their loved ones out of Abuja to relatively safer regions thereby crashing the economy of the city.
