davidylan:
More mind-blowing stupidity. You say the whites brought religion to us right? but not all whites are christian last time i checked too.

So you need all jews to be christian before they export christianity to other parts of the world? I shake my head.
Does it matter that not all whites are christians? those that conqured parts of our lands and people and brought christianity to us were christians. . . . and the FACT is that if they were moslems you guys would have been facing the east bowing to allah. . . .

Actually i don't have any news or know of any jews exporting christianity to nigeria. . . . .

I think all rational minds are tired of this nonsensical drivel. You put up a thread, spew silly conspiracy theories with no proof and then ask us to disprove your own mindless ramblings?
Who exactly are the "rational minds". . . . .I laugh in greek. . . . grin
Christianity Etc › Re: The Invention Of The Devil. by mazaje(m): 6:28pm On Dec 09, 2009
davidylan:
and? Where is the relevance? Without the jews there'd be no christian . . . white, green or blue.
Last time i checked most of the jews are not christians. . . . .The version of christianity you know and practice today was passed onto you ONLY because the colonialist that first invaded the part of nigeria where your grandparents came from were christians. . . .if they were moslems you would have been facing the east and bowing your head in submission to the desert god of the arabs. . . . .

davidylan:
hilarious . . . and we are to assume you and kay 17 have a clue what it is you both are discussion?
What actually were we discussing? huh huh

Absolutely silly and irrelevant. Without the Jews there would be nothing for the white missionaries to allegedly bring to us.
If the british were muslims or islam was the religion of the roman empire surely you guys would have been facing the east and bowing to the desert god of the arabs no?
Christianity Etc › Re: The Invention Of The Devil. by mazaje(m): 6:06pm On Dec 09, 2009
jagunlabi:
@Davidylan, following questions for you;

1)Did the jews bring your religion to your forefathers?
2)Was the roman empire a jewish empire?Forget not that christianity took form as organized religion with central doctrine and dogma in the rome proper and it is in this form that it came down to your forefathers and thus down to you.
3)Are the british missionaries not the ones who brought your religious beliefs to your forefathers?
4)Were the british missionaries not white?
The black African early church fathers brought christianity to the doorsteps of his ancestors. . . . . grin grin

Kay 17:
i'm am trying to prove to you that your religion is an absolute product from your head. it is filled too much inconsistencies and contradictions, you are given a chance to speak for it, and the best you give are insults. why? you should use this medium to point the mistakes made in interpretation or flaws in logic rather than cursing everyone.
That is because you assume or think he knows what he is saying the fact is he doesn't. . . .This post from jagunlabi should have told you why he is very agitated and panicked. . . .

jagunlabi:
Having to prove the veracity of your deluded religious claims is a pain in the you know where, i quite understand that.It must be quite frustrating to be saddled with such ludicrous fairy tales that nobody is prepared to accept at face value, save for you and your fellow brethren of faith. So i can understand your frustration, really i do.
The post above says it all. . . . .

Exodus 20:11

"For in six days the LORD made the heavens and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day.  Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it."
So according to this verse the age of the earth and the universe is. . . . . . ?
Christianity Etc › Re: Questions To All The YEC In The House. by mazaje(op): 5:28pm On Dec 09, 2009
davidylan:
The bible never at any point told you it served as your measuring device. Feel free to go measure the age of the earth yourself.
Tell that to OLAADEGBU and his bedfellows in the YEC movement who believe that the bible is the most accurate measuring device known to man when it comes to knowing about the age of the earth and the universe not me. . . . . .

Of which carbon dating (the means by which science arrives at the nonsense called the age of the earth) is completely inaccurate.
And the correct measurement of the age of the earth can be found in which chapter and verse of the bible?

davidylan:
Apart from the fact that i wasnt responding to you but jagunlabi . . . it is incredibly silly not to know that christianity was NOT a religion of whites, by whites and for whites but an offshoot of Judaism . . . spread by jews, arabs and even blacks.
It is common knowledge that a lot of the early church fathers where blacks from Northern Africa.

But then that's like asking a 4 yr old to understand calculus.
Which of the black early church fathers from Northern Africa brought christianity to your grandparents? grin grin

More silly delusions on display. . . . .

I suppose the jews would qualify as the "white race" too?
So the jews were the ones that brought the myths you desperatey hold unto to africa eh? what a fool. . . . .

lol you think the devil doesnt exist but here you are debating his invention, character and words?  grin Its too early to be showing signs of MPD.
Who was i debating the mythical devils invention with? huh huh. . . .I only asked you to provide evidence for the existence of this mythical character. . . .You think that evolution is false but yet you go about debating all the postulations about evolution no? It is really too early for showing signs of MPD. . .
Christianity Etc › Re: The Invention Of The Devil. by mazaje(m): 4:53pm On Dec 09, 2009
davidylan:
which is kinda silly in a sense . . . because i NEVER put up a thread bawling that evolutionists prove their theories. I only step in when i see illiterates masquerading as scientists who try to use evolution as a cloak for their hatred of God (allegedly termed atheism).

I wouldnt even know which of you is an evolutionist . . . i frankly could care less. I'm only interested in making sure that those who use the evolution excuse at least UNDERSTAND what it is and why they use it. 99% of the time it turns out you all have no idea.
More meaningless and deluded rants of a hopeless slowpoke. . . . You don't have to put up any topic on evolution, the fact that you are on almost every topic were evolution is discussed and asking them to prove their theory says that you are more obsessed with it than you are letting on. . . .is prove only necessary when evolution is discussed? Where is your evidence to show that this mythical satan exists outside your silly delusions? By the way who are the illerates you are talking about? Are you a scientist? As toneyb has said you are NOT a scientist ? Studying the work of other scientist to gain knowledge of how the scientific process works based on their findings and their hard work says that you are only an observer trying to understand things based on the work that others have done. . . . .The last time we checked the list of scientist your name was not included. . .in fact you do not have any primary school science text ascribed to your name and you are here crying and displying your delusions all over the place? What a hopeless fool. . . . .is there any body that masquerades like a scientist on the board like you? Deluded fool. . . . .Do you have any idea of what evolution is? your posts here say you don't. . . . .

probably because most of them, like you, have no idea what an atheist actually is. It really isnt just a collection of folks angry at Jesus (CFAJ).
Can you show us what jesus has done to us that will make us "angry" with him? I know that your silly delusions will love to make you believe that we are angry at your myths. . .but any way enjoy your delusions. . . . .

typical . . . i would be surprised if i got anything cerebral in response.

Back to more serious musings . . .

@ topic - isnt it ironic that the author uses quotes from someone he claims does not exist . . . to prove that another person doesnt exist?

Kinda like me using words attributed to a fairy to prove gnomes were figments of my imagination. But oh well . . . what do you expect from consummate idiots.
Again more blabbings and NO substance at all. . . .does this slowpoke have any evidence to show that this mythical character called the devil exist outside his silly delusions and the pages of his religious scripture or is he going to continue crying like a headless chicken? huh huh. . . .I laugh in greek
Christianity Etc › Re: The Invention Of The Devil. by mazaje(m): 4:31pm On Dec 09, 2009
davidylan:
the usual "prove it" idiocy. I wonder why you "know" that religious beliefs are steeped in conjecture and yet you spend way so much time bawling that we "prove it".

How about you thoroughly prove your claim that our beliefs are purely mythical?

And why do they bother you anyway? Just asking . . . i dont imagine you pay so much attention to gnomes and gobblins no?
Just like the way you spend too much time asking the evolutionist to prove their own hypothesis. . .If evolution is false i wonder why you even bother to debate them. . .surely you have much better things to do than worry about a theory that is false no?

The time kinks arent a problem- I dont recall posting anything about 5000 or 4500 years. The 250 million is part of the scientific school of thought and included in the articles I posted- its not supposed to be the main focus.

So far, you've insisted the earth of Noah's time was exactly the same as it is today, therefore you and kay 17 are pulling up all kinds of weird analogies like how did mountain lions get to north america. Can I ask you how cows got to Africa? huh
Do you have any evidence to show that Noah lived 250 million years ago?

secondly, if you believe the story of Noah is a myth, then you could have worded your question differently. I'm just saying.

However, continental drift is a fact.

Looking at any map of the world, you'll see the continents do fit into each other like puzzle pieces.
According to some of the articles you posted events like continental drift and Pangea happened when there were no humans on earth how then do you reconcile that with the Noah's flood story?. . . . . . .

Have you ever read the nativity account in the Bible before now? I don't recollect "freely dishing verses" on this thread except the link and the suggestion that you should read up on Matthew and Luke, it seems that you are the only one who hasn't done his homework as others (wirinet, mazaje et al) seem to have found out the truth which explains why they are no longer asking questions. Go through the link below and read up on the scriptures quoted there and you will be home and dry.

Christianity Etc › Re: Questions To All The YEC In The House. by mazaje(op): 3:58pm On Dec 09, 2009
OLAADEGBU:
We all have the same evidence all around us (fossils of plants and animals), the universe and layers of rocks.  What is different is how we interprete the evidence and this is essentially due to our presupositions.  We (YEC) base our thinking and interpretation on the authority of the Bible while you guys base your thinking and finding on the fallible, faulty assumptions of man.  Check the link below to find out why we differ on our interpretations on the finding of NASA.

Click on http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2006/0323inflation_theory.asp for our viewpoint on NASA's findings.ing
More ridiculous drivel. . .The bible is also the thinking and VERY faulty assumption of men weather you accept it or not, A simple reading of the books proves that its is CLEARLY the thoughts, fantasies and assumptions of men nothing more.

I just want you to stop poking holes at scientific findings as regards to the age of the earth or the universe and give or show us your own credible scientific method of dating that proves that the earth is 6000 years old. . . .YEC only try to show that there are some mistakes in the scientific dating methods but they have NEVER provided their own scientific dating method which proves that the earth is 6000 years old. . . .

stop idolizing science. The credibility of scientific insights have been brought to question over and over again. There is yet no reason to believe that the earth is billions of years old or that the chimpanzee-like species found in forests are humans who ever walked on the surface of the earth.
Science has given us some of the best and accurate knowledge of the things we see around, The scientific process has helped man to understand the world around him better than any other process and it still remains the best way to observe and explain things we see around with empirical evidence. The fact that science has its own short comings does not mean that its established methods of measurements are false. There is no reason to believe that the earth is billions of years according to who or what? Have you conducted your own measurements that says otherwise?

I hope you are aware that nowhere in the Bible is the suggestion contained that the earth is 6000 years old only.
I know but the YEC believe other wise. . . By the way this topic is not really about what the bible says or does not say. It is my understanding that the bible does NOT say anything about the age of the universe or the age of the earth, even though the YEC believe other wise. . .I am only interested in their own scientific findings and method of dating thats proves that the earth and the univserse are both 6000 years old. . .
