just wondering ...what will happen if the person now gets ITA before the eca comes? Previous pages were vague about that.
One needs to be shrewd when doing stuff such as this. It is noteworthy that during evaluation (by WES particularly) you get an estimated date of completion of evaluation after verification is done. With that, ECA shouldn't be a limitation to creating/maintaining a profile. At least have that profile up and running in case you're caught in the web of a CRS cut-off tie breaker.

You may still create your profile as soon as you have a reference number from WES. All you need to do is add the 'IMM' suffix to your WES reference number and you're fine.
Assuming your WES reference number is 1234567, that means in the field for your ECA report number, you should fill in 1234567IMM.

Where it is certain that ECA won't be ready 3 months after ITA is gotten, kindly decline ITA and get back into the pool ASAP to be eligible for another draw.

Happy boxing day

Oga sir, I'm still reading the 2nd part of this thread while following up with the 3rd anytime I get the chance. Besides someone already responded to me. Don't try to shame anyone here cos they asked what you may term silly question.
Oga stonecold, it would only be kind of you to point out to me how exactly I attempted to shame you. First, I answered your question nicely and then pointed you to where you'd possibly find more answers to other recurring questions.
Mr, you call that shaming? It's such a pity

The answer you thought you got was incorrect and it was on purpose. You couldn't even spot the irony in the tone

Good pm n compliments of d season to you all, I intend to start d ee process and need some clarification. I have a bsc in insurance and msc in management and also have done 2out of 3 stages of my professional exam
Do I need to evaluate my bsc and msc as I heard insurance is hot cake in ca
Do I also need to evaluate d exams I have done in my professional exam though am not yet chartered
Thank you as I await your responses
It's obvious you didn't read through the pages of the thread, most importantly page 0. The answers are there. Someone as much as reposted something from part 2 having the direct links to some FAQs here and the solutions proffered.

The short answer to your question is evaluate only your highest degree. Where you possess 2 degrees, evaluate both to claim points for two or more blah blah blah. In addition, no one cares about your insurance degree over there. It's your work experience (and how you sell it) that really matters

Is it advisable to enter the Express pool prior to when WES responds with their evaluation. This process is already underway for me.
Yes please, you may. If you had flipped a few pages back, you'd have seen the answer to your question.

Please ogas at the top and all gurus doing great job on this thread God go bless una...

I am new here and please I have few questions..
I am done with masters in the USA and still in the U.S.

1. Is there any part of Express entry process that I have to come to Nigeria in person ?
2. Can I get my police report in the USA as against Nigeria.
3. My brother's wife is in canada, can I use her as a family member?
4. For those that got their PPR...please tell me your score range./ Is there any specific score range I should target. ( I am single/ never married). Age 30.

5. God bless you as you answer these disturbing questions.
1. No. You can complete the whole process from your diaspora location
2 and 3. Read page zero for better understanding
4. I think the only thing standing between you and an ITA is 8777. If you know you know grin

I made payment and sent details to BC as required but never received confirmation from them. Sent follow up emails on this, yet no show only to wake up to this email that my booking would be canceled today.

Please house, how do I get this resolved? I am determined to retake the test on January 6, hence my decision to opt for Ibadan not minding distance.

Bros you actually have an awesome point but mind you some people's kind of work won't even give them 10minutes outside breaktime and the rest is till night when they get home tired and worn out and by then a page you last visited @ page 75 already reached 85 ( mind you don't say he's lazy to go through it bearing in mind he néeds to tidy up other few things at home and if he's a family man with kids, u know the rest). So sending PM to his mail can actually save him the "pain" of going through the missed out pages, I'm not trying to defend the guy but I know what I'm saying. It will surprise you I cover up all missed pages in d middle of d night when everyone is fast asleep.
Congratulations to the ITA getters we're all celebrate together and return all glory to GOD. Amen
You quoted the wrong message sir.

To your point, so if some people are too busy, others should do the reading, summarize for them and send in private mails. You know that won't be fair especially when other folks here could be benefitting from the outcome of such inquiries. There are exceptions however to this where the subject matter is very personal one or a classified info.
Believe me, most of us here (including the regular contributors) including me, do work around very tight schedules. But you see, we have put our minds on doing this thing and that we would do no matter the hurdles. We learn from our various experiences

Me too it is too far. Because how possible was it for folks with 446 to Remain in d pool when 439 fellers got ITAs on Nov 15, with tie breaking of Oct 19? So confusing!
It is very possible. Some people who fell short of that score for the round might have improved on their scores subsequently.
I for one have been in the pool since late November before a shortfall of 0.5 in IELTS threw me out of the 400's score. By the tie I sit again and make it, the date I entered the pool would still be November. So you see, the earlier you get in there, the better.
I hope this clears your confusion

Good morning,

If you are scheduled for IELTS on the 6th of January and you haven't gotten any email about your speaking test date. Try to visit their office today or before 12noon tomorrow or send someone as they are closing for the year tomorrow.

All the best

Update, I just left British Council, they said the notifications haven't been sent out but speaking test is scheduled to hold btw 30th of December and 4th of January. So fingers crossed.
I haven't even gotten any e-mail confirming receipt of my payment. I have tried reaching them on the phone lines provided on their website but never get past the operator. I pray someone helps with the right extension here.

How do they expect people living outside Lagos to get to their Ikoyi office for this sole reason, with this demonic traffic on the island in recent times? Please I registered to go write at Ibadan, anyone here who'd be going from Lagos can say yay! so we can tag along

You have been requesting for private conversations with forum members here when you know pretty well that others would benefit (even though it's in a small measure) from whatever clarifications you seek. We had help reading other people's experiences, the least we can do is give back the same way. We may likewise decide to do certain things the unconventional way, get positive results and share the experiences here. That's called innovation and that's why we're a community of enlightened folks.

Do not feel that I'm out to spite you bro. It's just a observation.

Can one recieve an ITA same day he/she entered the pool? I see someone her advising a person to try enter the pool today before the draw is likely made?
If eventually its done today.
Yes you can, if you meet the draw's cut-off. Where there is a tie, people who entered the pool first would be treated preferentially, but sha just enter first. You lose nothing doing so. Can't you see it's a win-win?

Hello everyone,
I actually wrote the Dec 2 exam, and truth is I have been sad since then.

The result: LRSW: 7.5, 7.5, 8, 7.5

I sincerely believed I did better than what I got for L and R, because I cannot imagine dropping over 6 questions for both of them. While statistics for upgrade of L and R is not particularly favourable, there are a few exceptions and I am seriously considering this route.

Please, I would like to find out if anyone has collected their TRF, as I would need it to apply for remarking.

The only challenge I have is with the time frame, of which if there is no upgrade, before I will be able to write another exam may not be earlier than April.

By my initial projection, I would have been entering the pool today, even though my projected score is far from current realities at 425.
You can do both brother. I have already registered for the next test on January 6 while I wait for the right time to apply for a remark. I also believe I did better than the 7.5 I got in L but then,
I intend to include W in the remark request. No matter what happens, I believe it'll be a win-win situation this way as there's no legit price too much to pay to succeed in this Canny journey

Chai. If there is a draw today that could have favored my score, it will be very disappointing. I'm not yet in the pool as I haven't received my TRF yet. How long will it take for BC to send it to me? I wrote in PH but I don't live there. Or should I just travel down there, would they give it to me?
Oga put on your swimsuit and dive into that pool already. Who told you that TRF is a sine qua non to entering the pool? A few pages back, someone detailed how to generate the TRF number and that works perfectly cos I went ahead to verify with a friend's. If not for the silly 7.5 in the Listening test of December 2, I'd have been swimming in lane 430. I actually created my profile long before the results came out knowing very well that I can always edit the scores so long as the revamp doesn't take me below the ITA score for that round.

Brother, you have only a few hours to do this. Make hay while the sun is still up and don't forget to come back for your testimony and tithe grin

Good morning good people, please I'm based in Ilorin, how do I go about remarking my IELTS before the deadline given to remark expires. Candid response will be much appreciated. Thank you.
You think anyone was going to sugarcoat responses to give you false hopes before?
We're honest but humane in our communications here.

To your question, it depends on where you sat your test. If Ibadan, Lagos or Abeokuta, I believe the controlling office for the south-west region is Lagos. So you may have to take a trip to Ikoyi with the TRF, passport and bank draft of 15k in favor of British council. The rest would be sorted out there.

(2) Is a there a trend or pattern for schedule of draws monthly?
1. Hopefully today and is likely to be the last for the year

2. No one knows for a certainty. However conclusions drawn from trend analysis show that draws happen fortnightly on Wednesdays. There have been deviations from this in the past though

Please, help with the fact.
If you are the PA then the impact of her result won't be very significant. However, since you need just 5 points from her, then I think even a 7777 should do that. Just play around with the CRS calculation tool to know what your permutations would afford you
