akp202: Achuwa1:Has the UN ever invited a governor in Nigeria to represent his state? Has the Commonwealth ever done the same? If ever the money would be recovered it is duty of the FG to follow through, no state government can confront the UK, for instance, on the matter. Corrections are welcome |
UrbanMystique:Not so fast. You would be surprise that the higher data volume (8k =8gb) may have a different data rate calibration from the 1k = 1.5gb. Etisalat is testing the package, they don't want to be like Airtel that just cancelled its time based data plan. I guess if you have 8k to spend on data just do the 2k x 4 = 14gb. |
Has Fayose made any statement on this issue yet? |
Since I am a theist, I believe God is one of the concepts that defies human definition, interpretation or analysis, just like fire, which we even see, feel, describe its attributes but can't tell what it truly is. OP's arguments are valid, but let's take a step backwards. Why would God hide from his creation? According to NASA, there are billions of galaxies out there and it would be absurd to say another earth-like planet does not exist elsewhere. If this is earth on the 3rd dimension, it is plausible that God also created an "earth" on the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, ... dimensions that supports life. Besides "life" doesn't have to follow 3rd dimensional earth's specifications to be "life". Science talks about the big bang, which to me is the point God created, formed "itself". Then next question is, what triggered the big bang? Life is a matrix. You die on earth, you wake up elsewhere from a sleep, only to die and... life goes on still in a matrix. |
David Cameron is only echoing the voice of some of us here wailing "bringbackourcorruption". How do you reply a high level insult diplomatically, By insulting in return? |
When Akwa Ibom through former Governor Attah took the fight for resource control to Aso Rock, how many people in Nigeria supported the fight then? Now NDA want us instead to support its blowing up facilities that are supposed to better our lives. how myopic. imagine if the issue of resource control was resolved then, would NDA have any idiotic need to blow up facilities to draw attention now? |
OK |
Irrespective of what you studied or didn't study in school, what matters at the end of the day is the productive value you add to your life, and the people around you. I see school as an opportunity to enhance our intellectual capacity to adapt to the real situations of life. |
When we asked for the economy to be diversified, did we factor this in? I bet just like the gains we are now enjoying in the telecoms industry, so shall it be with petroleum products. |
I can relate to that. Office politics and eye service are conjoined twins. I had thought work place is like school where brilliance and hard work is all you need to excel, it was a very wrong assumption that I found out the hard way. You must mix in a good quantity of eye service to excel. I was always accused of not "being loyal", when I had not flouted any company rules and my key performance index was above average. Notwithstanding the fact that I bought drinks for "the boys" When the need arose, which was more often than not. SMH. Sometimes I wonder which is more difficult, finding a job or keeping a job, with all the office politics and eye services. |
Paulpaulpaul:[KJV] Genesis 4:24 If Cain shall be avenged sevenfold, truly Lamech seventy and sevenfold. Did you notice the word "if" and "shall"? meaning Cain was not killed, he died like his father. Cain had descendants that grew into a city. |
Paulpaulpaul:It depends on what you mean by "word of God". The books I referred you to were equally authored by "God" using successions of scribes. Where is it written in the Bible that God taught man the art of writing, "book" making etc, but we see where God instructed man to "write it down". Does it mean man just woke up one day and knew how to write and what to use in writing? Those details are not in the bible but are there in other ancient records. Historical Research is not a sin, is it? |
Paulpaulpaul:You are very sure of that? What you say is like saying the Nigerian constitution of 1999 was the first and original constitution. Before the coming of Moses there were civilizations, religion, trade, governments, etc, to say he wrote Genesis without reference to existing historical records of his time sounds brainwashed. there are so many details unaccounted for in the bible, so forget that meticulous bit. |
Paulpaulpaul:Re-verify your facts. Civilization (literacy) started in Sumer, thousands of years before Egypt, even before the flood. You can download a free PDP copy of "The Earth Chronicles" or "The Lost Book of Enki", it would fill a lot of gaps in biblical history. Be prepared to upgrade your understanding of the Bible and the creation of man. ![]() |

Goddyboy95:Pls reference the Scriptures that back this quote of yours. Jesus never preached tithe in any form, neither did the apostles. Apostle Paul only asked for collection that was meant for a specific purpose, not this financial burdening of people to attract God's blessings.
|
bomsilaga:I thought I was alone in this. It is like those that don't pay or have to pay are exempted from God's financial protection. |
emmy99:The record is to assist God know how many blessings to assign to you courtesy of your pastor. ![]() |
YungMike:If God's family is limited to only church goers, I doubt the concept of God as universal. Don't limit God to church going, that reduces God to pastoral monopoly which is "impossicant". |
OLADD:All you listed didn't start with this administration, except holding people to account aka persecution. If previous administrations had held their predecessors to account the issue of "persecution" would not be seen as such. |
OLADD:Those economies you are comparing us with, do they reason like us? Do we share their level of patriotic zeal? Take a cursory look at some of the comments here, are there not self destructive? We shouldn't allow political sentiments/frustration of the past to cloud our national vision for the future. |
It does not matter, but it helps reduce distractions (especially in church) and allow your inner eye to see "things not seen", see the manifestation of your request. |
Where are those that were against surgical correction of the human body? Does this show that God make mistake or what? |
End time cousins |
As a man thinks so is he (his experience) As a people think.... To All those that think/say there is nothing they will benefit from this budget, So Mote it be. As for me and my house, we shall partake of the good things this budget shall bring to our nation, So mote it be. |
Hhhhmmm Why is she emphasizing "physically abusive relationship"? So if the relationship is abusive but not physically, one should stay, abi? Why because she knows some women endure physically abusive relationships (which is her bias); yet some (wo)men endure emotionally, financially, sexually or verbally abusive relationships. Maybe she is among the later category. |
What the heck! The mods won't censor this, but would censor sport bet. Smh. |
