Remember assertions are according to the biblical stories

Just as we are creatures of God, angels are also God's creatures, and thus we both represent the employees in my previous comment. Both humans and angels were sent out of God's sight after they sinned, but God came to the world to rescue us. To whom much is given much, much is expected. God made angels higher than human beings by granting them more power and understanding. God expected perfection from them, but the devil and other fallen angels not only wished to be equal with God, but also wanted to overthrow Him.

To better illustrate my point, suppose both your higher and lower rank employees were involved in the coup. If the higher rank staffs were still very proud and not sober but the lower rank staffs were not proud or stubborn and they were sober, ready to admit their fault and seek forgiveness because they were simply influenced and deceived by the higher rank staffs. They were never interested in overthrowing you but rather wanted to move up the ranks.

As a good boss, you would be more likely to forgive the lower rank staffs since they were not the masterminds and did not act out of malice. You might decide to place them on probation and allow them to prove their loyalty before bringing them back into your company. However, the higher rank staff who masterminded the coup and acted out of pride and malice would be held to a higher level of accountability and would require a more severe punishment.

It is true that God knows the end from the beginning, but He has given us different options and designed the end for each option, just as the North, South, West, and East have different designed destinations. We were created with the ability to make moral choices, but we are not robots and we have the power to refuse to do what is right.
