Point of correction, oshiomohle didnt tar the road leading to anenih's town. Oshiomhole did not win the election just because he preached against godfather-ism, he won because the preceding government failed woefully to perform and the Edo people wanted a change. When Adams the son of Oshiomole got to Government House, he fixed all the major roads causing headache to the people of the land of Omon'oba. It became easy for him on the merits of good performance to win election even against all odds when PDP was at the centre. Edo people were ready to support him at all costs. Yes, after preaching against godfather-ism, he ''fathered" Godwin the son of Obaseki politically and Edo people supported him, because they wanted the performance of Adam's type to continue in Government house.

Now, here are the questions: did Godwin perform in like manner as Adams? Are Edo people happy with the level of infrastructural development under the son of Obaseki? Did Godwin reconstruct roads leading to the houses or home towns of opposition like Adams did to Tony Anenih? Also learn the basic principles of power, don't bite the hands that fed you. What I do know is, if Obaseki doesn't win the primaries, he'll decamp to pdp and because of his familarity with the terrain (Edo state), he'll be made the party's primary candidate. When the guber. election comes, Oshomole will want to rig the election and that's when he'll see the full wraught of Obaseki who will be waiting for any nonsense from Oshomole. After he wins, I expect Oshiomole to be barnished.

I laughed when I saw Tinubu supporting Oshomole, Edo no be Lagos that will allow god fatherism.
