The funniest thing here is that, the seat of these 17 lawmakers have been declared vacant according to the same constitution malami is claiming to be defending and under the said constitution, the only redress they could seek was going to court to challenge it which they have done as law abiding citizens, and the case is still pending.

Firstly, they committed contempt of court by declaring themselves valid lawmakers.

Secondly, they committed another illegality by inaugurating themselves without any Governor's proclamation.

Thirdly, they did the inauguration in a private room without the mace which is the symbol of authority.

So for the so called malami to be asking the police to protect these set of criminals is a clear indication that this administration is a supporter of illegality, they resort to brazen abuse of powers to get what they want to get. This is bad politics. One thing I know for sure is Edo people are not cowards, they will speak through the ballot.

As a student of Nigeria's politics, and with a fair knowledge of the law, I keep asking myself, by what power or authority did Obaseki declare the seat of elected representatives of the people vacant? Is it appropriate to swear in selected members of the elected representatives of the people to the exclusion of majority in the night. I may not be a fan of APC but I expect PDP to speak the truth to power always if I may use the language of the PDP spoke person. Now that the pendulum is swinging against their Candidate, the truth can't change.
When Wike and Patience Goodluck played similar game in River state, we condemned it, when Obaseki in APC did it and now in PDP,it is still condemnable.

The police are there to enforce the law and once the political rights of majority is impinge, it should be defended, the law and indeed democracy in for both majority and minorities. When the executive is demonstrating dictatorial tendencies, the system must have a mechanism to check it before the whole system is consumed.

I am delighted to inform you that I got electronic confirmation that my transcript has been delivered to WES within 24 hours of my submission of the required document. Two key staff God has been using are Alhaji Umar Abubakar and I guess Dr. Abu'bkr Aliyu of Computer Science Department. I must say , I didn't pay a dim to them except the mandatory fee paid through Remita into ABU account. Yes, they are good Nigerians doing great things.

At University of Ilorin, the use of manual processing of transcript that will take months is also becoming a history. The following strategies may help:

Take time to go through your father's pictures as bachelor and his diaries.You may stumble of helpful information or people who were once close to him but now far away.

Indirectly reach such close friends of his and find out your possible mother. Childhood friends, school mates and colleagues at work about the time you were born.

His church/mosque associates may help.
Secretly go through you father's phone especially his conversation with your step mums on WhatsApp if there any from the time you start the discussion with him. Indeed, since your father has been dishonest with you , you can use his phone to send a message to his close friend asking if he knows the current location the mother of my daughter(your name). Tell the man as if it is your father asking and say her daughter has been disturbing you. Once that is done delete the message . Even from your comment, I sincerely doubt your membership. You can be worshipping with the church and not be a member. Indeed, if you truly understand the membership of Apostolic Faith in Nigeria, your comment would have been different. Growing bear, I know some countries allow it but wearing of jewellery?
