Lol I rubbished nothing. and i didn't said Allah has rewarded me for my comments. Look I'm not driving anybody away from Islam. the only difference between a Muslim and Ahlil Kitab is prayers. As far as I am concerned she is not a Muslim. Her last post said it all! At @35 nothing can change her mindset except if she is ready to change.
There are plenty of differences between ahl il kitab and muslims, of which praying is just one...

Her lack of praying hasnt turned her into a Christian or Jew so I dont see your point.

You cant tell somebody they are not a Muslim. You just finished cursing somebody back into the 3rd century, does it mean you are no longer a Muslim?

Stop mentioning 35 as if she is a lost cause. What about hardened criminals who convert when they are 60?

If you dont want to comment just leave it! I cannot see any "noor" in anything you are writing.

You who prays 5 times a day and talks like a rabid hyena are no better than OP that doesnt pray.

You cant even advise somebody who is going through a crisis. What kind of Islam are you practising?

Yes I pray 5 times daily. and I told her nothing but the truth! I used to have same problem with the OP. but I made up my mind to establish regular prayers in no time I got used to it. Islam is not all about emotions or doing what pleases you. Islam is all about Quran Sharia and the Sunna of Prophet (S.A.W)
Is it why you abused and insulted her? Couldnt you tell her that without all those bad words?

So for your mind you think Allah has rewarded you for abusing somebody? Dont you think you have rubbished your night prayer with that thing you wrote?

You are just driving people further away from Islam with your behaviour. How can insulting somebody for their age make them pray?

Is that what the Qur'an told you to do?

You know nothing about Islam, but you’re acting like you know so much.
Keep wallowing in your ignorance .
Bye.
You dont know anything about yourself! How can you say theres nothing like a moderate Muslim?

Up until recently Turkey has been enforcing moderate Islam to the point where they couldnt even wear hijab in public institutions. Iraq and Syria have both been secular Muslim states for over 50 years

I think youre the one who has been roasting in ignorance all this while.

Assalamu alaikom!

Sukueponmalu:
If that’s your definition of “moderate Muslim”
I guess a moderate Nigerian should be someone that breaks all the laws in the constitution.
Smh
Its not me, they would still define themselves as Muslims and would be offended if you said otherwise

Islam has a whole history, culture, political system as well as laws. Some people identify more with the general ideas of peace and kindness and just being a good person without feeling that they have to follow all the laws involved and truth be told, it can be difficult to do all of it without being impractical

Sukueponmalu:
You know nothing about Islam.
There’s nothing as moderate or conc Muslim .
The 5 times daily prayer is not optional for muslims . It’s a cumpulsion . Each of these 5 activities barely take 5 minutes .
If she cannot do what her husband wants , then she should leave and never look back!
Aren’t no man want his kids raised in a wrong way.
There are moderate muslims everywhere! What are you talking about

So many of them skip prayers, drink alcohol and eat non-Halal food except in Ramadan. Are you living under a stone huh

Even this milad-il-nabi we are celebrating tomorrow, so many of them have never even heard of it. You can message somebody outside of Nigeria to greet them for the celebration and they will be asking you what is that

That guy should have seen the writing on the wall. That praying praying every time is too much for a lot of people even though she is supposed to be doing it

Nonsense. You aren't ready to observe ur daily obligatory salat n u decided to marry a Muslim. Do you know how it hurt for a Muslim hubby to find out his wife does not observe salat regularly? Ur attitude is even a liability for him in regard to his faith as a Muslim. I severe my last relationship with my lady cuz she was born n brought up a Muslim but she get to Portharcourt n she got swayed by the lifestyle of her friends who are mostly Christian. I discovered she was gonna be my headache in trying to teach her Islam of which wasn't too enthusiastic about anymore. I no get day strength, I kukuma free her jejely. I no ft shout.
I dont see why youre bringing Christians into your failed relationship, it seems you just wanted to let off some steam. A Christian can never stop a Muslim from being a Muslim and vice versa. I even used to fast ramadan with some of my Muslim friends so just forget it

Praying 5 times a day is no joke. Even Christians that are mandated to pray just once sef, a lot of us don’t pray. OP is a moderate Muslim who married a conc Muslim. This is the root of the problem. The husband knew this before marriage but believes her could make her pray more. I am honestly tired of people trying to force others to change.

He accepted her as a moderate Muslim and married her, he really should not be blaming her. Rather he should be coaxing her back into a regular prayer life by example and praying as a family. In my own family my father was the prayer warrior and not my mother. But when he called for family prayer or prayer during certain occasions we must respect and join him in prayer.

There is no mandate on one spouse being the prayer warrior. Where one is weak, the other has to try their best to fill in the gap until they come to an understanding. Not by insults and threats that can do permanent damage to the marriage. She will never forget what he said and how he treated her you know?
Yes, I have modified that statement because I realise that not everybody is devout in the way they practice their religion.

Its not fair to assume that all of them follow it down to the letter. As far as they have worked it out between them and it works for them, thats good enough. After all SU couples can still divorce and some atheists are still happily married

He should have started it from the beginning instead of 5 years in. Its not fair to start trying to force her now when it was not a big part of her life all this while. And all the talk of age and insults is very unnecessary. No "religious" person should be abusing his wife in that way. Wont that kind of insulting talk cancel out all the prayers he has been praying? He should approach her with love and not coercion

On the other hand, the way she is writing is showing some strange attitude. Its sounding like vanity or recalcitrance

That "Salah" is one of the main parts of Islam and she's talking "his life has improved since he met me". What do those two things have to do with each other...people who pray dont add anything their husbands lives or whathuh
Family › Re: My Husband Said I Should Leave His Home by midnighter(f): 10:58pm On Nov 09, 2019
The only problem is that the guy met her like that and didnt voice his displeasure, now he is moving the goalposts

But then, they are not even his goalposts, but God's...

This statement is sounding somehow:

arinpe16:
He believes I'm a devil since I don't pray even though things have changed for the better for him since we met..
Are you trying to say that your prayers are unnecessary or whathuh Sorry to say but you have a wrong attitude.

His life has improved since you met, and so? You are exempt from praying because you are his good luck charm?

So if things turn bad should he chase you away??
Family › Re: My Husband Said I Should Leave His Home by midnighter(f): 10:48pm On Nov 09, 2019

He prays regularly and we have kids.
He doesn't set good example for me. He will pray, eat my food, have sex with me and still keep malice with me? Is that what the Qur'an says about religion? We've been together for 5 years and he didn't see it as a big deal. Why is it now that everything good is coming his way, he suddenly start seeing me as being a devil, not marketable and what not.
So, I'll have to pray for him to love me and do his right? Just imagine. He can't even correct me without threatening me with divorce. Is being divorced a disease?
That divorce stuff is not nice of him at all

Sorry but are you a stubborn person or has he tried talking to you before and you didnt listen? How can he just jump to "divorce" just like that?

You'd probably ask him to encourage you rather than threatening you all the time. Correct you with love, be your teacher, etc.

As for the praying, if you're a Muslim then the bolded is irrelevant because that is you people's law. You would be praying for yourself and your God and not for him

You dont really have any right here because technically you are wrong even though the way he is going about it is not nice.
Family › Re: My Husband Said I Should Leave His Home by midnighter(f): 10:41pm On Nov 09, 2019
I mean, if he says its because you dont pray the full 5 times then what is remaining is to start doing that and see whether or not he improves

You cant report him to anybody until you can guarantee that you are doing all the right things, and according to Islamic teaching, you are not

I guess your kids will be seeing you sitting down when youre supposed to be praying and its getting him annoyed

Of a truth, its not too good

If a Christian lady refused to go to church while everybody else is going, it would be still be somehow to the husband

Please try and pray, o?

Before transporting such patients, you stabilize the neck region with a collar, if unavailable; improvise with even a carton or logs of wood... Anything to make sure that neck doesn't move.

The reason the back seat isn't advisable is because when there is a spinal cord injury, any movement would most likely worsen it. And putting such patient on a back seat will keep him in a folded posture further arching the spinal cord... Plus, because the back seat isn't spacious enough; he's worse of when the car makes bumpy movements
Gbam.

If he sits up straight he's already dead. Better give him a neck brace and use stretcher

I’m sure you read where I emphasized “minimal contact”. Green leave, fipronil, sniper or what have you should be used for the purpose they are meant for. I still reiterate that sniper is more effective in eliminating roaches and all crawling insect!
You will still need to take into consideration the relative toxicities of either chemical

Saying "minimal contact" is a redundant argument...people dont purposely swallow these things so of course they must endeavour to have minimal contact.

However in cases where accidental contact is made, Greenleaf is less toxic to humans than Sniper.

By the way even short-term exposure to Sniper can be very harmful. Even if it just touches your skin.

They are all dangerous to humans including your mosquito spray, just ensure minimal contact. You can still get snipers in some stalls.
Greenleaf's active ingredient, Fipronil, has a low toxicity for humans except if you purposely eat a large amount of it. Can you say the same for Sniper??
